Almost a day and not one comment.

Some of my favorite music ever… “Old Man” from about when my Father died (I was with him to the end over several days. The song speakes to me…) Waltzing I learned in grammar school, igniting a life long love of Australia. ..

So either everyone loves it all, hates it, of is bored to tears…

Well. I think I’ll go back to watching Arch Linuxbuild… with tunes in my ears…

  2. Some of these were new to me. I must say that “Puddles Pity Party” would work better for me without the visuals.

One song, however, was very familiar — though I’d only heard a single previous version of it, in a voice perhaps as affected as that of Randy Newman:

And there is one piece that could be set to music, but hasn’t been, that is rather connected to your dilemma. It might amuse you a bit:

Best wishes, sir, for more satisfying prospects straightaway.

Ah yes, the Nemoy attempt to sing… but if any song fit his voice, this is it…

How about Chase’s Run Back to Mama? Normally played right before divorce papers are filed. Good trumpet work, though. Cheers –

Must be the post winter snarls, find myself grumpy too.Was last weekend of snowmobiling up here,no snow on ice and bears are out.
Came across a dead Bald eagle on the ice, some brain dead Ahole put two rounds through its breast, sickens me.
    The stupidity and the waste.
Now I wait for open water, end of June.
Of course I get the glorious pleasure of doing my taxes and filling in the long form census in between.

Try ;”And the Band Played Waltzing Matilda” by the Pogues or John McDermott.
And of course Flakes by Frank Zappa.
    Or I am the slime.
