Obama as Satan? It’s funny what folks can get by torturing data…

I do not, even for a moment believe this is evidence of anything. I do find it an amusing example of what can be done if you ‘torture the data long enough’ and ‘get it to confess’. Search enough data and enough writings in enough languages long enough, eventually you will find something like this.

With that said, it is a remarkable find. From 2009, someone matches a bible verse to say ~”Satan is Barak Obama” when read in old hebrew.

Looks like there was a later “remake” (2014) of it by someone else:

Kind of funny, IMHO…

Then again, one does wonder when The Bible calls him out by name…

    Yes, intriguing. “Seek and ye shall find” is the guide to successful cherry picking.

    We live in interesting times. So many things seem turned upside down. Common sense seems so uncommon. I don’t really worry for myself, but for the younger generations and what world we will leave them. Thus I will continue to fight for them.

    Well if you are going to torture Hebrew you might be amused by Hebrew Etymology.

    @M.Simon:

    Oh, it’s not torture! Just sweating it a little… enhanced interpretation is all ;-)

    In England, about 1935, Mum’s best friend’s mum was an herbalist, selling many herbs from her cart, including MJ for “poor appetite and melancholy”, for which it was remarkably effective! Somehow The Empire wasn’t stopped by it. Once banned, however, the Empire wound down… Coincidence? ….

    There was a time, not long ago, when all plants were the common heritage of all mankind and each was evaluated just based on what good it could do. I remember buying codien cough syrup over the counter and the neighbor growing beautiful red poppies… now banned as opium poppies. But that was when America was free…

Anything to say?
