The Tribal War with Islam
Posted by Daniel Greenfield
Daniell Greenfield, has a very tidy mind. IMHO, he’s pretty much nailed it on Islam, Europe, increasingly the USA, and we of the Moral Observers.
I’d pick one nit, that being the assertion we fight all wars at the same level of organization as ourselves. Not always. US Doctrine has Special Forces that act to mobilize tribe vs tribe as opposed to nation-state vs tribe, and many governments and NGOs know how to work cross levels; but yes, the faculty is rare and often poorly used. But watch out for it. The USSR worked to destabilize individual organizations in the USA, and the USA works to pit tribes against nations, and The Left Writ Large works from a global socialism perspective to take down Nations and attack their individual supporting structures and ‘tribes’ (such as The Globalist Left currently having parasitized the IRS and NOAA and using them to attack “The Right” and anyone standing in the way of the Global Warming Agenda). So just keep that complaint in the back of your mind when you read bits like:
All wars are wars of equals.
That’s true in the sense that each side attacks the other in terms of how it defines itself as an entity. States try to destroy other states. Religions fight other religions. Ethnic groups and races engage in genocide. They do this even when the other side does not see itself in the same terms.
The United States tried to fight guerrillas and terrorists as if they were modern states with their own industrial military organizations protecting their industrial core. This tactic made no sense in Vietnam or even Iraq because that wasn’t the enemy we were facing. But states are built to fight other states. Tribes are built to fight other tribes. Religions are built to fight other religions.
I would rephrase that to “MOST wars are of equal structural level, some are asymmetrical by a level or at most two.”
I’m not seeing where that invalidates the thesis, but it does illuminate some of the more arcane corners, like using NSF grants to advance the Global Warming Agenda to take down National Governments of the west in favor of a UN Driven Global Socialism. Undermining with a lower level to topple the Nations so in the chaos, the oft awaited, never seen, Peoples Global Socialism can arise… if we aren’t all dead first… or enslaved to a stronger nation…
The modern multicultural super-tolerant western state of this century takes stock of its strongest point, and decides that it’s not the old industrial machine, which destroys the environment, its traditional heritage, which is problematic, or its problem solving skills, which are too technical, but its values of super-tolerant multiculturalism. And so it wages war on those insane terms.
The old Western model of war was brutal and efficient. Protect the industrial plant. Use it to churn out more military hardware. Smash the enemy. The new Western model of war is protect social harmony. Create more diversity. And the enemy will eventually be drawn into our global harmony.
When liberals take every terror attack as an opportunity to lecture us on the vital importance of not losing “our values”, they are in their own warped and useless way waging war.
In the 20th century, war was distilled down to an industrial core. In the 21st century, the anti-industrial rebels who want to de-industrialize manufacturing while industrializing society, have distilled all that matters down to their values. In their confused world order, the terrorists are attacking “our values” and we in turn must attack “their values” with our superior “values”.
That, in a very concise way, summarizes the difference between use Surly Curmudgeon Deploriables with our focus on stuff and capability vs the fussy noggin Left with their bleating about superior values and the need to be PC to everyone and just indoctrinate more…
Barely half the country accepts their construct of what “our values” are and they have no idea whatsoever what “their values” are, but they assume that just as our values are “our values” so too “their values” are also “our values”. This is the sort of thing you do if you’re an ideologue.
And also it’s a natural human shortcut. It’s human nature to assume that people different from you are just dumber, nastier versions of yourself who have the same basic goals and organization as you do.
Ideologues are most likely to assume that everyone agrees with their premises, but just hasn’t been shown the right textbooks. And these days ideologues and their textbooks dominate everything.
Oh have we ever seen that… “IF ONLY we could find the right ‘frame’ and pitch things better and get past that broken thinking by ‘deniers’ they would see the light of our superior moral position…” and of course lots of “dumb and nasty” called…
To the left, Islam is an inefficient sort of Socialism dependent on medieval superstition and lacking modern idea. To Muslims, the left is an inefficient sort of Islam that’s missing Allah, Mohammed and the Koran. It’s all just a problem of explanations and textbooks.
The left plans to defeat ISIS with “our values” by which it means showing how effective our social harmony is, which it isn’t, by refusing to actually fight Islamic terrorism. Eventually the Jihadists will give up their reactionary ways as the ordinary Muslims realizes that he has the same interests as the rest of the great rainbow coalition does. This hasn’t even worked too well in Europe.
The left is a purely ideological entity and so it has reduced our countries and cultures to the transportable “our values”. Despite Islam’s ideological reach, it’s not purely an ideological entity.
Thus the hatred by The Left of “Borders, Language, Culture” as a mantra. ALL they value is “their values” and all the rest if fungible. Also why The Left is happy to import a lot of “Socialists Lite In Training” via the Muslim Hoards Of Refugees, as it sees them as future supporters, raw material to be enlightened and formed, while The Right sees them as the Religious Zealots they are (BY DESIGN as stated in the Koran – yes, I’ve read it.) The “our values” crowed will be sorely disappointed in 20 years when given the choice of “Give up ‘your values’ and embrace Islam OR The Sword” (again, as stated by the Koran). Our goal is to assure that doesn’t happen to us.
Modest Suggestion: Send those from The Left to The Muslim World. Let them try the conversion there, while leaving the rest of us alone to enjoy our differences of language, culture, foods, thoughts, etc. They can come back when that whole Socialist Workers Paradise with Love and Tolerance is working well in that chunk of the world…
At the ground floor, Islam is tribal. The Iraqis viewed us as the American Tribe. Tribes raid each other. Their members lash out and kill each other over insults. They count coup on each other. They steal and humiliate each other’s women. Tribes are nomadic and they are concerned with honor.
Tribes from Iraq, Syria and North Africa can come to Europe, set up their own territories, pile up loot and then humiliate the native women for New Year’s Eve. And then laugh at the impotence of the European tribal authorities.
The Islamic no-go zones are seen primarily as religious, but they are also tribal. Islam incorporates both. Islamic migration also expands tribal territories. It’s always been that way.
And this is also how Muslims fight us on a tribal level. They attack the honor of the European tribes. But it’s not as if the Merkel government or any of the other European Socialist governments have any concept of honor anyway.
While European Socialists attempt to integrate them with “our values”, the ungrateful integratees show that the systems have no honor on a tribal level and are not worth taking seriously.
Islam even has a special word for the Tribe Of Islam: Ummah
Ummah (Arabic: أمة) is an Arabic word meaning “community”. It is distinguished from Sha’b (Arabic: شعب) which means a nation with common ancestry or geography. Thus, it can be said to be a supra-national community with a common history.
It is a synonym for ummat al-Islamiyah (Arabic: الأمة الإسلامية) (the Islamic Community), and it is commonly used to mean the collective community of Islamic peoples. In the Quran the ummah typically refers to a single group that shares common religious beliefs, specifically those that are the objects of a divine plan of salvation.[1][2] In the context of Pan-Islamism and politics, the word Ummah can be used to mean the concept of a Commonwealth of the Believers (أمة المؤمنين ummat al-mu’minīn).
Are you ‘one with the body’ or not? Inside the tribe, or an outsider to be converted, exploited, or killed? Those are the choices… You either join the tribe, or you as a dhimmi
According to scholars, dhimmis had their rights fully protected in their communities, but as citizens in the Islamic state, had certain restrictions,[3] and it was obligatory for them to pay the jizya tax, which complemented the zakat, or alms, paid by the Muslim subjects.[4] Dhimmis were excluded from specific duties assigned to Muslims, and did not enjoy certain political rights reserved for Muslims, but were otherwise equal under the laws of property, contract, and obligation.
[…]
In February 2014, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) announced that it intended to extract jizya from Christians in the city of Raqqa, Syria, which it controls. Christians who refused to accept the dhimma contract and pay the tax would have to either convert to Islam or die. Wealthy Christians would have to pay half an ounce of gold, the equivalent of USD 664 twice a year; middle-class Christians would have to pay half that amount and poorer ones would be charged one-fourth that amount.[140] In June, the Institute for the Study of War reported that ISIL claims to have collected jizya and fay.[141] On July 18, 2014 the ISIL ordered the Christians in Mosul to accept the dhimma contract and pay the Jizya or convert to Islam. If they refused to accept either of the options they would be killed.[
So accept second class status and pay up (and over there a 1/2 ounce of gold is a LOT of money), convert to Islam, or die. Your choice…
When folks say they want Sharia Law in the west, this is part of it.
Now back to the original article:
Beyond the tribal, is the religious. In Islam, religion remains limited to the most primitive level of “My tribal deity Allah is stronger than your deity because we beat you up.”
This is literally what Allahu Akbar means.
To the representatives of the secular West, religion is identical with “our values”, which is to say that it contains nothing religious about it, certainly no claims which require divine validation or unique truths. Their religion is a spiritual background noise which affirms the essential position that we should be nice to each other while providing support for any leftist position of the moment.
No meaningful dialogue is possible between Allahu Akbar and “Our values” because the two are not speaking the same language except in one sense, both insist on absolute submission. But the left’s demand for submission is based on the absolute moral superiority of “Our values”. Islam literally means submission, but its moral superiority is a revealed truth based on Islam’s military victories.
Islam is right, because it won. It won, because it’s right. There’s your cycle of violence in a nutshell.
Islam sanctified the tribal raid as a religious act and turned the dead into martyrs. That’s Jihad. Terrorism incorporates both the tribal and the religious. Islamic missionary activity in the West also targets dissatisfied minorities, potential fifth columns, in the same manner as the original Arab Islamic conquests did. Even here, Islam unites tribal and religious tactics.
And that, boys and girls, is why Europe is doomed unless it changes course, fast, and shuts down no-go zones while enforcing our libertarian ideals. It is also why Trump is important to the USA and why Obama and Hillary are traitors to the country for their stated goal of importing large ‘Fifth Column In The Making’ groups.
The final element of the tribal war is organizational. It is here that Islam attacks “Our values”.
Tribes are forever quarreling. They are weakest at their points of mutual association. This is how Mohammed originally got his start. Islam expanded initially more through clever games of divide and conquer than military strategy.
To the Muslim mind, we are a series of fragile tribal associations. That is also how we appear to the “Our values” left. The “Our values” crowd thinks of the threat in terms of “radicalization”, but the real threat is “integration”. Mohammed did some of his best work by undermining from within.
To undermine a tribal association, you have to be a part of it. Then you have to raise grievances, find other dissatisfied allies and eventually promise them better treatment under Islam. That’s what Mohammed did. It’s what his followers are doing today.
This is where groups like the Muslim Brotherhood play the long game while ISIS plays the short game.
The left’s multicultural vision made this mess possible. It’s also making it worse. The left despises tribal thinking and yet its entire political infrastructure is built on rewarding it. All Islamic organizations have had to do is built on the left’s own work, joining its coalitions as Islamic groups, and then working to hijack them. The growing takeover of #BlackLivesMatter by Muslim groups is one example of the phenomenon. Our enemies are not states and they will not fight us as states. To the extent that they are tribal, they will fight us as tribes. To the extent that they are religious, in a primitive sort of way, they will attack us that way. But the real problem is that we are no longer states either. Instead we are in the grip of a mystical deluded cult that squawks of “Our values” while tribalizing and dividing us to push through discredited economic and social policies. They have opened the gates to a cruel, backward enemy.
And in doing so, they have brought a tribal war into our own homelands.
Those bold bits matter a great deal, as THAT is the reason we have riots in the streets today. Not injustice. Not shootings. Those can be addressed by peaceful means and rational legal processes. The reason for the violence and discord and riot in the streets is the shared goal of Global Socialism and Islamic Jihad to destabilize and “take down” the Western Democratic Nations. BOTH expect to achieve dominance in what rises from the rubble and BOTH think the destruction is a necessary first step. One block at a time. One organization at a time. One PC Prohibition at a time. Until the final push can topple the Nation.
Unfortunately, there is ample evidence for Islam dominating in the rubble of failed nation building, there is no example of a stable growing socialism from it (the USSR was not stable, history is littered with failed Socialist States), so the end game here will not turn out well for the Global Socialists.
Even less fortunately, it is the Moral Middle that ends up killed by both those sides… Ask the Middle Eastern Christians how that’s worked out for them…
IF 2 people are in complete agreement, that is one more than necessary.
I agree with him for the most part as well. Our differences (the author’s and mine) are nuanced, not major. The left thinks they are riding the fox across the river. Soon they will be inside the fox.
EM Thank you for this insightful post. Do you have a prediction for an October surprise? I saw this one somewhere. “The Saudis have deep connections with the elite in Washington. (both with the Republicans via the Bushes and the Democrats via Clinton (Huma Abedin). They really dont want a Trump win. The Wall St. lot want more weapons production. It would suit all these parties for a major incident causing hot war level stand off btwn USA and Russia. While Obama is in power what can he do?”
On that note this item:
Muslim shoots up Christian churches in Tennessee telling people to read the Koran.

@Richard Hill:
I’ve been worrying that one a bit, too. Hillary / Obama / Neo-Cons in the pocket of Saudi.
Trump OK with Putin.
Putin playing with the levers of the voting apparatus and has NSA tools for hacking in…
Looks like a decent Mexican Standoff at the moment, but with “sides” with ambition and worry.
Then standing in the corner is the Chinese Fish Monger and his opium den behind him “for the easing of pain of looser…”
Oh, and Wikileaks setting up a manure dump du jour for HIllary…
What could possible NOT go wrong?
Well, first off, Russia is highly likely to grab some country or two, just because he knows Obama has no spine for it, no congressional support, and nobody is going to get in his way. This, too, would cause folks to vote for Trump as the “tough guy” who can maybe even talk some sense into Putin. (Hillary being seen as feckless Obama Lite …) So I’d expect to see him push, likely in somewhere reasonably easy. Military “wall” along Ukraine, maybe a corridor to the little isolated bit of Russia near Poland… Or a lite snack of the Baltic States…
Then we have Syria. I would also expect to see Russia gaining lots of ground with Assad as Iran funds the op… they have a few extra $Billion now… That also makes Obama / Hillary look dim.
Finally, per Russian hacking the election facilities: IMHO, that is just to ‘true the vote’. Were I them, I’d just be rooting out the democrat machine codes and putting in trip wires to shine bright spotlights on them when they try to cheat. Basically, just prevent the steal.
Now Saudi is a tougher one to call. They don’t like overt action. BUT, I could see them launching a higher level of attack on Yemen and / or into Iraq. Perhaps “take the oil” as The Donald says… “for safe keeping” of course… Unify the Sunni areas under a benevolent Saudi hand… WITH the “coalition” support of the USA to assure Russia doesn’t bomb the shit out of them…
The risk, of course, is USA / Russia direct air contact…
Iran? Working as they always do, in the background via proxies like Hezbollah. I could see them shooting a hole in one of our ships in “their” water, just to mark the end of the Obama term… or I could see them sitting tight in the hopes they get “The Price Is Right!!” Hillary…
That’s the best I got right now. It’s too volatile and secretive to get clarity.
Well, The Clinton’s, just like Obama, are enthralled to the Sunni House of Saud. and the Russian is fighting the Sunni ISIL , The Saudi military power is mainly the US, so I see no reason for Putin to help Hillary fighting Trump for control of the US government. All of that Arabian money can’t buy Hillary the presidency. There are just not enough Democratic dirty tricks available to make the steal. Look for a Republican Landslide followed by the Beast breaking a lot Liberal Progressive eggs on his way to cooking up a new omelet of governance. The world war of militant Islam against all Others will soon be prosecuted for real by all of the west, soon there will be no choice, convert or die. A double edged sword that swings both ways…pg
The use if Islam to divide this nation is just one of many “Issues” used by Marxists. The present occupant of the White House is a Marxist and there is a good chance that he will be succeeded by another. These are people who deliberately create groups of “Victims” who can be manipulated by Marxists to increase their power.
THE DAILY CALLER
CULTURAL MARXISM IS DESTROYING AMERICA
September 29, 2016
by Moses Apostaticus Moses Apostaticus is a PhD student with a background in classics, history and literature. His years in education have made him a lifelong enemy of leftism. He blogs at http://follyofreason.org.
“Yet again an American city is being torn apart by black rioters. The images we see of the violence in Charlotte do not resemble the country we know. At the same time, high school footballers, cheerleaders and even American servicemen are following Colin Kaepernick’s lead by kneeling during the national anthem. Many Americans are baffled.
How is it that eight years after Obama promised a post-racial America and fifty-two years after the Civil Rights Act was passed, Americans are more divided by race than ever before?
It is certainly not for lack of resources being thrown at the problem. American universities have Black Studies Departments, corporations have diversity trainers and racial staffing quotas and the mainstream media covers race issues constantly. Despite all of this, the divisions keep worsening.
This trend is not being driven by white prejudice. It is being driven by ideology. The reason race relations in America continue to deteriorate is the cultural Marxist philosophies being taught relentlessly in schools and colleges across the nation.
Many Americans are familiar with political correctness, yet may not be familiar with its origins in cultural Marxist theory. While classical Marxism argued that capitalism and the class structure it created must be overthrown because it is oppressive to workers, cultural Marxism argues that it is not economics that creates oppression but rather the nuclear family, traditional morality and concepts of race, gender and sexual identity. These are the chains of tyranny which must be broken by revolution.
Modern woman, are you unhappy in your marriage? Are the responsibilities of motherhood and the burdens of work getting you down? Patriarchy! Black man, do you feel hard done by? Does it seem like the deck is always stacked against you and
you can’t get a break? Racism! Gay man, are you tired of the sneers and microaggressions of straight men? They’re afraid that they’re gay too. That’s why they hate you!
These are the narratives which are paraded endlessly in our education system. They are not natural or accidental. They have been constructed by intellectuals and academics who have had a radical agenda to transform the nation, and benefit themselves in the process.
Believers in these doctrines of straight, white male oppression today call themselves liberals. This is a post-war fabrication designed to deceive everyday Americans about their revolutionary agenda. They are not liberals. They are Marxists.
Cultural Marxism is the Marxist dialectic fused with Freudian theory and applied to identity and culture. Like all forms of Marxism, it is based upon categorizing people into abstract groups and then creating a narrative of historical oppression between them. The strategy of Marxists is always to cultivate a victimized group and then convince its members that solidarity is required against the oppressors. This creates resentment and hatred and is how Marxist ideologies fulfill their revolutionary objectives.
The cultural Marxism that our societies are infected with is a particularly Western phenomenon. After the Russian Revolution of 1917, Marxists in Europe believed that the dictatorship of the proletariat was at hand. They were wrong. The revolution failed to spread. In despair, and in one of Mussolini’s prisons, a young Italian socialist Antonio Gramsci wrote that the problem was the Christian bedrock of Western European cultures. He encouraged Marxists to develop a fifth column inside these countries to destroy the foundations of Western cultures. Only then would international socialism be achievable.
This call to subversion was picked up by Marxist scholars based around the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany. In the tumultuous milieu of Weimar Germany, theorists such as Max Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, Erich Fromm, Theodor Adorno and Georg Lukacs integrated the theories of Sigmund Freud with classical Marxism to develop the foundations of critical theory, deconstructionism, post-structuralism and postmodernism. Known as the Frankfurt School, many of these intellectuals fled Hitler’s Germany for the United States where they were welcomed by Progressives and socialist intellectuals. The theories of the Frankfurt School unified the vanguard of the 60’s countercultural movement and have since spread to every discipline in our universities, colleges and schools. These theories, which obsess about colonization, subjugation and oppression, have indeed colonized higher education in the West.
Marxism is always cloaked in high-sounding utopian rhetoric. This is a ruse. What cultural Marxists seek has nothing to do with true diversity, social harmony or universal tolerance. They don’t want the races getting along. They seek power. The solution for the perceived injustices that Cultural Marxists have manufactured is radical social engineering. The power to carry out this social engineering must be given, of course, to a politically-correct elite determined to remake society along ideological lines.
This is why cultural Marxists always seek to enter government, academe or influential positions in the media. In the process of remaking society, unsurprisingly, these Cultural Marxists gain enormous wealth, status and power. This is how careers and fortunes are made in the industry of grievance. It is also why Marxism is so appealing to the ambitious and unscrupulous.
Thus it is no surprise that the groups which cultural Marxists have labelled victims are themselves now worse off than ever. The decline of black America over the last fifty years has been a modern tragedy. Across all metrics, black communities have been deteriorating. The solution loudly demanded by cultural-Marxist opportunists is always more of the same, thus accelerating the decline of these communities
Marxism proved over the twentieth century that it is the deadliest and most destructive belief system on the planet. It has a body count beyond measure and has left a trail of brokenness, suffering and desolation wherever it has taken hold. Marxist ideology destroyed the traditional civilizations of Europe and Asia until they renounced it in the 1990’s. It is in the West that it has lived on in hybrid form, gnawing away at the fabric of our societies. That fabric will not hold forever. Every knee taken, every glass bottle thrown and every incitement to victimhood is another crack in the unity of the nation; and without unity there can be no United States.

We recognize the problem, not only in the US but in all our western democracies,
but we don’t know how to bell the cat.
The requirement of a Liberal Arts education is the vector of this mental disease. Reality is the only cure…pg
When you bring it back to the basics you have two competing philosophies.
The first, upon which the USA was founded, is the individual is responsible for his conduct and his good or bad fortune. People came to the USA for the opportunity to advance by their own initiative not to sponge off the wealth of others. All that was promised was the freedom to advance by your own efforts. As one person put it, “As a white male, I don’t owe you a thing. I never owned slaves and YOU never picked cotton.”
…..
The second philosophy is “It is ALWAYS someone else’s fault — THEREFORE YOU OWE ME!” This, of course, is a very seductive philosophy although crippling to the fabric of society.
For muslims it is insha allah Arabic for “if allah wills” and masha allah meaning ‘allah has willed it.’ It is why the muslims never really advanced beyond raiding, slaving and stealing. They can not because they must model their lives after Mohammed and that is what his life was composed of, raiding, slaving and stealing.
The Study of Political Islam
Why We Are Afraid, A 1400 Year Secret by Dr Bill Warner
……..
For marxists you can go back to the Rockefellers. Remember John Dewey’s school for experimenting on American kids was funded by John D. Rockefeller link AND “…that Rockefeller philanthropy fundamentally controlled psychological discourse concerning child-rearing and pedagogical practices in post-World War II Canada and the United States. The philanthropy’s officers were, in essence, funding support for a particular psychological approach to matters concerning children so extensively and effectively that they in effect shaped the consensus for the “modern” child-rearing philosophy” — The Hand that Rocked the Cradle: A Critical Analysis of Rockefeller Philanthropic Funding, 1920-1960
In other words the Rockefellers single handedly funded the transformation of how we raise our children. the result is the toddlers in adult bodies we now see.
This “Blame the other Dude” philosophy is glaringly illustrated by this paper by Dr. Michael S.
Sociology versus Psychology – The Social Context of Psychological Pathology and Child Abuse
I found his opening quote highly amusing
“What does Psychology, Sociology, Behaviourism, and emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual abuse have to do with each other? A concern with uplifting the human being, transcending pain and suffering, and moving towards holistic health and wellbeing. Or not. Sometimes it is just about command, control, and fitting people into the System. But not here, and not from now on. The winds of change are blowing, a hurricane is coming, and no amount of self delusion, self deception, or social propaganda are going to turn those winds away.”
I do not think the “The winds of change” are what he thinks they are going to be. As Dr Werner said in the above article, “Multiculturalism is bankrupt against Islam’s demand for every civilization to submit.”
Here is Dr. Michael S. “Blame the other Dude” philosophy in a nutshell.
In today’s America ONLY the will of the individual is to blame for his lack of success. Dr. Ben Carson and his mother are examples.
Dr. Ben Carson: A Healer Beyond the Operating Room
There are enough examples of people who decided to get the heck out of the cesspool of the inner cities to show it is by the will of the individual. Did others help? Of course but it is STILL up to the individual to grab the opportunity offered to him. Blaming everyone else only keeps them in the cesspool.
“Leaders” like Angela Merkel and Barack Obama will destroy us all.
Well. This looks like as good a place as any.
I wrote a post on Corporatism/Fascism. You got a featured place in it. Originally published at Classical Values. Now also posted at:

You should see some traffic from this. It is a “Conservative” site. The editors have some libertarian leanings. Which is why I get published.
There is a lot to be said for judging a person by their enemies, sometimes it is hard to figure out who their real friends are, but enemies usually are easier to identify, especially during stressful times when they are pushed to reveal themselves.

Understanding the role of PTSD in child rearing would clear up a LOT. Child abuse is the origin of “the world owes me a living – I was abused as a child”. The thing is – it is genetic. And the gene frequency is about 20% of the population.
It is why there are conflicting views. “I got spanked hard and it didn’t do me any harm.” Vs. “I’m going to take it out on the world for what my parents did to me.”
The people in our society without morals have their reasons. And to them the reasons are very good. Look up the pathology of people with PTSD. Then match it with what you know about criminals as a class.
Also look at the work Tim Leary did with alcoholics. Alcoholism is a symptom of PTSD. And the government has shut down using LSD in therapy except for some very limited experiments. LSD of course competes with corporate religion. Can’t have that can we? The donations might dry up.
@M Simon; As a one time stockman I can observe the sociopathic behavior occurs in around 10% of any population. It definitely is genetic. Breed “knotheads” and you get more of them. The only way to make them usable is to teach them consequences early. Not to really hurt them but to scare them that bad behavior is not tolerated. Horses, dogs, cows, pigs or kids, they are all the same. Being firm with those that are willing doesn’t hurt them and you can lighten up on them as soon as you recognize their great value.
As to PTSD,, that is caused by the stress of stifling fight or flight, too long, and creates a mental conflict that must be expressed or stilled with alcohol or drugs. Military discipline training and combat pushes this conflict to the extreme. Intoxicants can dull the mental pain but carry their own problems. Just excapeing for awhile helps. Just to “Go a Walkabout” helps…pg
M Simon says: “….Understanding the role of PTSD in child rearing would clear up a LOT. Child abuse is the origin of “the world owes me a living – I was abused as a child”. The thing is – it is genetic. And the gene frequency is about 20% of the population….”
…….
That makes no sense to me. PTSD is Post-traumatic stress disorder usually found in veterans of wars or other very traumatic experiences.
“Gene frequency” means to me, traits passed down via our DNA that we have zero control over.
……
Taking out your temper on a child is very very different from correcting a misbehavor. Unfortunately today’s society has gone to extremes and confused the two resulting in the large number of uncivilized kids/adults we now have in the USA.
BTW I suggest you look at sabertooth’s video on iodine and ADHD plus intelligence on the boron thread.
(BOY does 12.5 mg of iodine make a major difference! I am now not 1/2 a sleep all the time and forced to take an afternoon nap after just two doses. I thought I was looking at diabetes.)
P.G. thanks for clearing that up.
And yeah, a stockman is absolutely nuts to breed to a bad tempered stud no matter how pretty or what ever. My point of view is temperment FIRST and then I will look at the rest of the traits.
Minor note on the dhimmi in the view of Islam, another way to look at is that they see dhimmi as prisoners of war which they allow functional living conditions because they provide useful services to the tribe (both productive effort and the taxes they pay). Violation of their dhimmi parole terms can lead to execution. (in principle not much different than the holocaust except rather than keeping them in concentration camps, Islam just keeps them on a very short leash.)
I just found this on twitter today, it has an interesting look at how polls get skewed and how the left sees the public as small (tribal groups) that can be manipulated and used to sell their propaganda.

Not sure where to put this. (Maybe start a Hillary Wikileaks page?)
Speech Flags (There are 80 pages of this stuff) so just a couple on China.
Gateway pundit has a really good wikileak email. Seems Hitlery likes to put Americans into categories. Like a ‘basket of Irredeemable Deplorables’ for Trump’s vulgarians and a ‘bucket of losers’ for Bernie’s kids.

The gene frequency is 20% about 1/2 those get enough trauma to activate it.

Well of course it doesn’t make any sense. It is not widely mentioned because so many profit from it.
There are not near enough war veterans to explain the prevalence of PTSD in America. There is enough child “abuse”. Here is something to get you started.
http://healthland.time.com/2013/04/30/abused-children-may-get-different-form-of-ptsd/
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/somatic-psychology/201104/the-lingering-trauma-child-abuse
A search on ” PTSD child abuse ” will bring up much more.
I got interested in this because I got PTSD from beatings by my Dad as a child. My Dad got it from beatings by his mother. Evidently the genes run in the family. In my 20s I ran with an outlaw biker gang. They all had tales of child abuse – when they talked about their families.
My Dad was an alcoholic. I was an alcoholic at age 16. You never fully recover. But I’m about 95% recovered. I’m not mad at my Dad. Haven’t been for about 40 years.
Anyway – I know the causes and the mentality from direct experience AND study.
It might also amuse you to look up ” PTSD drug alcohol use “. In Civil War vets alcoholism was called the soldiers disease. About 7% to 10% of the Us population has alcohol problems. There are not that many vets. Also note that the rise of pot use in America with the Vietnam War. Not a coincidence IMO. The vets were not the main users. But for a time they greatly swelled the ranks.

Hillary is losing a significant portion of the Bernie Bros. Hillary has promised to make cannabis Schedule 2 from its current Schedule 1. That keeps it under tight DEA control.
Factory THC is Schedule 3. The Bernie Bros are not amused. They used to be a wholly owned Democrat Plantation. And then there is this:
Pharmaceutical Company Supports Cannabis Prohibition To Protect Its Profits
The Bernie Bros/ Reddit Kids are busy digging through the latest Wikileaks dump. I am sure they are as thrilled to find Hillary calls them “A Bucket of Losers” in private as Trump supports were when she called us “A Basket of Irredeemable Deplorables” in public.
HMMMmmm,
I do not trust Gallup worth spit* but here is what they have on voter affiliation (GDI = Independents)
Gallup: http://www.gallup.com/poll/15370/party-affiliation.aspx
Date …. % repub …. % GDI …. % Dem .. % R+leaners .. % D+leaners
9/18/2016……27………….40…………..32…………………44…………49*
9/1/2016…….29…………..38…………..31…………………44…………45
11/2/2014…..26…………..39…………..32………………….41…………46*
11/9/2008…..28…………..37…………..33………………….40…………51*
* The Democrats are picking up MORE voters??? I do not think so. No way is Hillary as popular as Obama was in 2008. (Note that the Republicans have picked up a heck of a lot of support. Also Trump had the highest turnout for a republican in the primaries.)
Given that Bernie won/tied the popular vote of the Democrats in the primary. Given the horrible way the Bernie people were treated by the DNC at the Convention, I would expect Hillary’s support to actually be in the low 30%. Hillary even acknowledges this loss of support by the establishment left.
Since Trump is standing up to the MSM and the politicians instead of acting like a whipped dog, people are energized and that includes those who never bothered to vote in the obviously rigged elections.
Oh, and I am sure the Blacks and Hispanics are thrilled that she says ” the minority base is probably still dominated by the Democratic messaging“ — Translated, the brainwashing is successfully keeping minorities on the Democratic Plantation.

I think we are at the inflection point of the Kondratieff bottom.
https://www.hotgas.net/2016/05/the-ins-and-the-outs/
That is the point where the OUTs start beating the INs. Economics has its own political cycle. It is about 80 years roughly divided into 4 20 year segments. We are about half way through the current bottom.
The upwave coming next is usually spectacular. Great economic gains.
I’m guessing that this bottom will be truncated. Thanks to Trump. About 16 years vs 20. That means that the upwave will be plenty evident by 2024.
What is also helping is that this time we have the ‘net to aggregate and spread information. And a lot of great but relatively unknown writers connecting the dots.
As I once said – “They” know all about us. But there is also the fact that they can’t make a move without revealing their position.
I assume there is no private communication on the ‘net. If only “they” were as smart as that. Too bad for them. Power is no longer an insulation from the masses. Heh.
May 12th, 2014 If Economic Cycle Theorists Are Correct, 2015 To 2020 Will Be Pure Hell For The United States
The population getting older was the ‘reason’ for importing Hispanics in the first place. However that is only useful if they WORK and PAY TAXES instead of overburdening the social welfare system and send money back to Mexico or where ever. So far it has been a net loss for the USA making the problems even worse.

Your link says 50 to 60 years. I have seen 80 years more commonly. So let us do the math
1929 + 80 = 2009. The Great Crash happened in 2008. There was following ’29 another crash in 1937 I believe. 2008 + 8 = 2016. Most people watching aggregate economics think it has been held off until 2017.
What did the politicians of the ’29 era do to keep the INs in? They tried to manage agricultural prices to make it attractive to keep people working down on the farm. It didn’t work. The gains from the displacement of farm labor with machines was impossible to stop. Even with agricultural price supports and Wickard vs Filburn.
What do I expect this turn? Medical labor will mostly be displaced by cannabinoids. Cancer cures are a big one. Another big one is old age dementia. There will be many others. Then think of the advantage of making “old” workers productive (mentally at least) into their 80s. Experience will still be useful for at least 10 and possibly 20 years. That is huge.
I’m 72 and still designing electronics.
Space-Time Productions.
Another one is 3D printed houses. Not quite ready for prime time. That will cut the cost/value of housing in half. A nice boost there. It will also be a big hit on construction labor.
@M. Simon – there were ‘crashes’ about every 2 years until 1941 under FDR. That is because every time the economy tried to grow out of it, FDR smashed it down again with his tax policy, public work agencies, or whatever. Economies go in cycles as far as recession and growth. Governments cause massive down turns by doing something when the best policy is to do nothing.
Per private internet communication:
very easily done in most mailers via public key encryption. It is just that most folks don’t bother.
Maybe I need an article on that…
Per cycles in economics: IMHO mostly driven by demographics with an historical tie to weather cycles in agriculture, likely now broken with ag advances. We’ll see.
