The Incredibly Intolerant Left -or – Snowflakes Melting In Their Tears

Watching the news in the aftermath of the election has been amusing.

Protesters are marching in the streets because… democracy happened and they lost.
Boo Hoo…

European News shows (especially D.W.) are full of angst and anxiety. Oh The Horrors!! Someone who doesn’t give a damn about their P.C. fixation, who cares about America, and who can’t be bought by the likes of Soros, might actually be making decisions in America’s best interest!!! Will Germany need to go it alone? (they actually asked if the E.U. would be able to ‘count on America’ or would the E.U. have to go it alone; but clearly they know that the E.U. is just a playground for The New Holy Roman German Empire…) A good 5 minutes or so was spent on the necessity to assume that they were on their own, and only if the U.S.A. proves otherwise, then maybe, expect it to be there for the “E.U.”…

MSNBC and CNN were giving LOTS of coverage to the “protests” (none at all to the organizing groups and how many were paid, though one CNN show did denigrate Trump and his “tweet” for suggesting something vaguely bad… I think it was “protests. How unfair.” or equally tame) even though we know from Wikileaks and other sources that the Soros Machine drives the planned staged “street theatre” that is the “protest”. See the history of the Color Revolutions. This is an old tired show.

Personally, I have an even easier way to tell. Spontaneous protests have variety and a bit of wandering lack of direction. Organized (i.e. bought and paid for) protests have a certain sameness. The “Play Book” makes it so. So for this batch, clearly the business plan said to occupy freeways. You just don’t have 4 groups on opposite sides of the country simultaneously and spontaneously go to key freeways, shut down traffic, and then form mobs or chains of folks across them to keep them closed. No, these are planned and organized events of street theatre. That takes time and money. So “what to hit” had to be worked out at least a day ago (more likely 2 or 3), logistics worked out, and communications done to the participants (since the first “news” of them is when they are already underway, it isn’t an organic response to the news…)

Guess what, Street Theatre People: We are on to you. We’ve seen the emails and the undercover videos. We know the organizations who do the money laundering from Soros. We know that the Major Media are in the same pocket, so we know this is nothing but a Fraud and a Show for the nightly propaganda passing as news.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m sure for many (perhaps even most) of the folks out there, they really are emotionally blobs of simpering misery. Only about 1 in 5 or 1 in 10 is usually a paid organizer / agitator. The others are “useful idiots” in the jargon of that business. People of weak emotional control thus easily ‘lead’ and agitated. So, yeah, I’m certain you really do think this is the end of the world as you know it and that Trump is the devil incarnate and starting tomorrow there will be death squads on campus. I also know that maybe you need to lay off the “self medication” for a while… and seek professional help.

After all that was exposed, all the collusion and all the back room deals and all the identified organizational structure, after all of that, you think this crap is still going to sell? Really? Sheesh. I turned off the video and decided sitting by myself at the keyboard was more interesting and certainly more informative. (Hey, when the “news” is false, that is negative information. Null information is a greater quantity of truth than lies and negative information…)

Just to be clear: Clue Stick Alert!!! Whack Whack WHACK WHACK whack!

We KNOW the likes of CNN, MSNBC, PBS, etc. etc. are all telling porkies and are pedaling an agenda. While 6 months ago it was a suspicion, now it is a known fact. You were caught in the act several times. Reputation is now entirely gone and replaced with a striped suit of prison garb and overhead is a large flashing neon sign of Paid Celebrity Endorser for Defective Products. At this point I wouldn’t even buy it if you said it was cold or raining in December without looking out the window first to see for myself.

We KNOW the likes of the “protesters” are just the Rent A Mob “usual suspects” at the core, with a halo of Useful Idiots wrapped around it. We’ve seen the plans, the emails, the coordination, the $1500 payment to incite violence.

We KNOW that the world will not end, the sun will rise tomorrow, and no matter who is President, the country muddles through one way or another. Heck, we survived 8 years of a Community Organizer trying to destroy the place… having a builder who likes to fix things can’t be all that bad.

Personal Advice to Snowflakes

For those Snowflakes simpering about the lack of a Safe Zone anywhere off campus, please note: Those of us who have had to deal with Real Life ™ for a while know that it does not come with “trigger warnings” nor “safe zones”. Real Life hits you square in the face with a 20 pound frozen turd and you just have to deal with it. One small example: I lost a front tooth from a whack in the face on a swimming pool slide. There’s no warnings on that kind of thing in life. I just got to “suck it up” and go to the dentist for a crown.

I’ve been blown up, blind and deaf (since recovered most all of it), and wrecked a car; and now I’m getting old. You too will get old. Think it is emotionally tough losing an election? Try losing parts of your body and finding out you can’t do the things you love most anymore, like dance and sing (arthritis is a bitch and singing deaf not so good). That is in your future. Try finding out which friends died this year. After that, Trump vs Hillary is hardly as big a deal as finding out you forgot to buy breakfast cereal. ( I actually care about not having breakfast cereal and it will have a real and noticed impact on my day. Unlike Trump vs Hillary.)

In short: Grow up. I’m tired of being your baby sitter and cleaning up your messes.

Media Advice

I don’t really have any.

Best I could suggest is closing shop and going into advertising, it is suited to your skills. I don’t see any way at all to recover anything approaching a decent reputation. Your brands are “toast” as anything truthful. We kind of already knew PBS was strongly biased some decades back, but now we know it is dishonest, and has cheats and liars too. CNN and MSNBC even worse.

Honorable Mention to Fox and Fox Business: Somehow they seem to have avoided the scandal. (Perhaps being ostracized by the Loony Side Of Left was accidentally protective.) They have also kept cool and professional while having buckets of verbal slime dumped on them by folks later found to be cheats, liars, and paid shills and protesters (some of them paid to be violent). Yes, they have a pro-Trump bias, but it is clearly stated as that. They claim their “news” is unbiased and their “commentary” is expected to have an editorial direction. One Small Problem is they run on East Coast time, and by the time folks out here on the Left Coast wake up and turn on the TV, “news” is over… So I pretty much only ever see their commentary programs. In any case, they have kept out of the email and ‘coordination of questions’ scandals.

Maybe you could try being more like them… Though it will take a lifetime for folks to forget what you did. (i.e. we will all have to ‘pass on’ and be replaced by the young and naive… and they need to have the historic video kept away…)

It might also help for you to stop hanging out with only Left Wing Literature Majors in the urban core of Progressive Socialist Cities. Spend some time in a biker bar. Go to a tractor pull. Eat pulled pork off a food wagon at the rodeo. Actually spend time talking to people in “flyover country”. Maybe even get a part time job doing manual labor, just so know what is involved in it. Or, heck, just try to fix your own toilet when it stops up… or rotate your own tires (use your car jack in the driveway…) It won’t fix your damaged reputation but it might “clarify the mind”.

Frankly, you’all are so out of touch with the everyday reality of Real Life, just about anything you do to get immersion in it would be an improvement.

Oh, and stop trying to “make the story” and just do a workman like job of objectively describing events.

Dear Rest Of World

Look, you need not be in a panic over Trump. He’s just a regular guy kind of person who likes to fix things and build things. He had his kids learn how to drive tractors and park cars and mow lawns. (Really, they had to work at minimum wage doing every job in the place…) That kind of person hates waste and hates having things broken for no gain. When you spend your life building things, you know just how hard that is, and breaking them is just repugnant.

So he’s not going to run around starting wars, dropping bombs, or firing off nukes if it can at all be avoided. Now folks like ISIS will not avoid instigating damage, and in those circumstances you “knock it off” as fast as possible. When a pipe breaks, you shut off the water NOW to avoid any more damage; and immediately start cleaning up the place. He will take care of those wars thrust on him in the same way. Fast, effective, and over.

Now you have some kind of $200 Billion a Year slush fund you want to fund “Climate Junkets” via the UN, well, yeah, he’s going to piss in that soup. It’s just a blatant waste of money. Sorry, but I’m not going to feel sorry about that. So something like that may well “Gore your Ox” but that’s because you were being evil, not him.

So if you are a cockroach living off the drippings of too much money flow, well, OK, you have something to worry about as he turns on the lights and sets off a bug-mister. Everyone else, it’s a big improvement.

In Conclusion

So all you Snowflakes melting in your own tears, and all you Media Types reading your DNC / Soros issues Talking Points and fretting for effect, and all you foreign country types worried what a President Trump will do: He’s going to build up America, preserve and increase value, and clean the vermin out of the kitchen. So only vermin have anything really to worry about… Oh, wait…

    Spot on ChiefIO,

I use FreeSat for my television viewing, which means I get CNN. I see that rather than coming out and admitting they got it wrong, they continue to sow division. They’ve doubled down on stupid. TV news over here is just as bad. There’s a big sense of shock at the outcome. I expect to see more shocks with the French and German elections next year.

Trump seems to have hit the ground running. Meeting Obama was always going to be awkward, but he managed to bite his tongue well. Can’t wait until he actually becomes President to see what he will do. Seemed more relaxed with Paul Ryan.

His three biggest challenges coming up to the inauguration are going to be finding his way around Washington, parsing what all the doublespeak that he’s going to hear actually means, and not getting killed. He’s built up a powerful bunch of enemies beyond just the Democratic and Republican parties, and he’s not beholden to anybody. The real powers that be are not going to be happy.

  2. A C Osborn says:

Great post EM, they are just like the Brexit crowd of losers, they even use a lot of the same language.
Paul, I know just what you mean about enemies and staying alive, even our Newspapers have mentioned the number of threats to life he has had already, but they are just the looneys, the real problem is the Establishment and the Clintons.

  3. Gail Combs says:

Here’s Every Anti-Trump Protest Going On Today and also the listing for upcoming events.

Brian tweets about paid protesters including ads on craigslist:

Tell me how they had time to make this head? That alone tells you this was organized and PLANNED

Sundance again — DNC’s Paid Left-Wing Moonbats March Again – Cupcake Nation Protests…

Truckers refusing to ship to cities because of the danger of getting hauled out of your vehicle and beaten.

No federal or state funds for cities where riots occurred instead, use facial recognition, internet searches to ferret out the protestors especially the organizers and make THEM go into each city and clean up the messes. Confiscate/freeze funds to provide a pool of money to repay those who were victims.

Why should I pay for the messes that George Soros, the Podesta brothers and others created???

  4. Gail Combs says:

    Paul Hanlon,
I think TPTB now know WE know who they are. If they take out Trump there will be hell to pay and I am not talking about idiotic protests where two year olds in adult bodies tear up their toys as is happening now.

  5. Gail Combs says:

Interesting… President Obama Probes Personal Risks From President Trump…

There should be no doubt the anti-Trump administration protests last night were directly coordinated by DNC operatives and the various affiliated interests within the left-wing national organizations OWS, RevCom, BLM, etc…..

Everyone who has followed controversial political events over the past several years knows full well, none of this activity happens without direct White House approval.

If President Obama wanted the streets cleared, his own speech could make that happen. He did not do so, yet.

That raises the question ‘why organize the protests’? …..

In essence Obama/Clinton agents are undermining Trump’s possible action against them by creating a narrative where the best play for President Trump is to allow the usurping agents to creep away, albeit with suitcases of cash, quietly into the night; and avoid sunlight upon their prior unlawful activity.

The meeting today between the victor Donald Trump and the defeated Barack Obama is essentially a meeting to discuss the terms of surrender. President Obama is seeking safe passage and amnesty for prior usurpation.

In the meeting today President Obama, and by extension Hillary Clinton, are requesting safe passage using the leverage of they’ll burn down the nation if not provided – hence the protests needed last night….

The patience of the country for the snowflakes is wearing thin. And they will soon not have the cover of a racist whitehouse to retreat to. Best to take their gains and go home, or spend a few weeks in jail.

  7. Gail Combs says:

The pre-printed protest signs are marked “
That organization has offices in the major cities where the riots took place.
    They’re backed by Soros:

Protests are one thing PAID FOR RIOTS are completely different. Even if they can weasel out of criminal charges there are always CIVIL charges where the changes in laws making everyone libel will work against them.

  8. beng135 says:

Yup, the MSM is gonna be busy staging/highlighting “incidents” for at least the next 4 ((hopefully 8) yrs.

  9. Paul Hanlon says:

I think you’re probably spot on once again (don’t you get bored with that? :-)), They’re protesting the result of an election. What are they expecting? That the election will be held again? How’s that going to turn out for them? When I think of the faux outrage when Trump said he would leave people in suspense as to whether he would accept the outcome of the election or not. How is this any different? Do they not see the hypocrisy of it?

This probably is a shot across the bows to Trump, the implicit threat being more of the same except nastier, if he doesn’t provide safe harbour for Obama, et al. Isn’t Obama just going to pardon people anyway? They will have p**sed people off so much with this nonsense, that when they actually have something to protest about, nobody will listen.

  10. Gail Combs says:

Robert Creamer Visited Obama’s White House 340 Times That is about once a week! Bob Creamer is a convicted felon. U.S. Representative (IL – Dem) Jan Schakowsky is the wife of Bob Creamer, founder/partner at Democracy Partners and head of Americans United for Change.

The political consulting firm Democracy Partners is at the center of the Project Veritas investigation exposing Democrat operatives instigating violence at Trump rallies and plotting potential voter fraud.

Robert Creamer is the founder of Democracy Partners…

Besides his regular visits to the White House, Creamer’s own statements contradict Brazile’s claim that Democracy Partners was just a bit player in the Clinton campaign and the DNC….

Now add the 350 times that AL Sharpton also visited.

Much more on Creamer the well connected. link

“Honorable Mention to Fox and Fox Business”

I hate to say it But the ONLY decent media we have left is Breitbart and (BARF GAG) Alex Jones.

Fox is mostly Controlled Opposition as is Salem Communications. I say mostly because they have a couple decent journalists, Judge Jeanine, Lou Dobbs, Hannity (yuck)

Since Megyn Kelly got Ailes kicked out Fox is now run by Murdoch’s leftist Globalist sons. (Complaints of sexual misconduct are SOOoooo easy to come by.)
Washington Post: Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch’s sons aren’t exactly best friends yet

James is “sympathetic to Democratic causes” and, along with his sister, Elisabeth, “frequently voiced concerns to their father during [the 2008] presidential campaign about Fox News’s coverage of [then-Sen. Barack] Obama.”
….this is undoubtedly a new era at Fox News. Eleven months out from the next presidential election, it bears watching to see how — if at all — James and Lachlan’s influence shows up in the network’s coverage of the campaign.

Fox is OWNED by foreigners who want open borders. Murdoch (Aussie) and his buddy Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who is the other major shareholder in Fox.
    Rupert Murdoch-Open Borders:

The link is that the Rupert Murdoch (Chairman/CEO News Corp, Owner of Fox News) is co-chair of the open borders group, the Partnership for a New American Economy (PNAE). PNAE was one of biggest supporters of Marco Rubio and the Gang of 8 Immigration Reform Bill/Amnesty push. They flooded the airways and media with pro immigration reform propaganda. Fox News was also devoid of unbiased reporting of this bill….

Murdoch and Ailes support of open boarders and the Gang of 8 immigration revamping has never been disclosed by Fox News ….

Murdoch has also stated: “We need to do away with the cap on H-1B visas, which is arbitrary and results in U.S. companies struggling to find the high-skill workers they need to continue growing. “

International Corporations first not America first is what Rupert Murdoch is all about.

BREITBART: The Anti-Trump Network: Fox News Money Flows into Open Borders Group

Murdoch is the co-chair of what is arguably one of the most powerful immigration lobbying firms in country, the Partnership for a New American Economy (PNAE).

In addition to blanketing the country, media, and politicians with literature, advertisements, and a barrage of lobbyists pushing for open border immigration policies, the Partnership for A New American Economy (PNAE) was a prime lobbyist for one of the biggest open borders pushes in American history: Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)79%’s 2013 Gang of Eight immigration bill….

Interestingly, Bill Sammon — FOX News’s vice president of News and Washington managing editor — is the father of Brooke Sammon, who is Rubio’s press secretary.

As Sen. John McCain (R-AZ)36% and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) 37% told The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza back in 2013, Fox News was essential to the Rubio-Schumer effort to expand immigration levels beyond all known historical precedent

….a massive fly-in trip of more than 600 activists, which was organized by the Chamber [of Commerce], the tech industry’s, the National Immigration Forum and the Partnership for a New American Economy, which was co-founded [by] New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Why in Hades is AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka in FAVOR of the Gang of 8 immigration that threatens American Union workers. What was the back room deal?

This week a Salem Communications insider steps forth (via email) to affirm all of the previous reports, and add details specific to the instructions from Salem Broadcasting and Salem Communications group… link
Who is Salem Communications? Radio talk show (Hugh Hewitt), Red State (Eric Erickson), now also Twitchy (Michelle Malkin), Hot Air (McCain), NRO, Townhall, Human Events, Bearing Arms. They  apparently have the same general ideological world view -regarding immigration-  as Rupert Murdoch and the Saudi Prince does.

In 2014 (sorry, cannot recall the date), Salem Radio hosted a conference call with Senator Marco Rubio to address the Gang of Eight legislation and “set the record straight.” All national and local talk hosts were urged to take part. I am one of their local hosts, and what I heard that day was troubling.
Moderated by Hugh Hewitt, it began with Senator Rubio offering a brief explanation of the measure and why it was so very necessary. Then Hewitt opened the call to questions. There were only a few, and they were exclusively from higher-profile, national Salem personalities, like Mike Gallagher, Katie Pavlich, and Mark Davis. No local host was permitted a question. Following the Q & A, Senator Rubio was cut loose, and that’s when things got weird.
After Rubio departed, Hewitt introduced Salem V.P. Tom Tradup, who began by saying, “Thanks, Hugh. Now, here’s how I would like our talkers to be talking about this…” I exited the call in disgust at that point and have no idea what followed.
The effort by the GOPe to co-opt the so-called “conservative media” is real, and it’s widespread. It also makes me gag.
XXXXXX  (name intentionally withheld by CTH)

(James is Murdoch’s son now in charge of Fox.)
    The Stockholder in the Sand

…. the enigmatic Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has very public holdings: he is the second-largest voting shareholder in News Corp., he owns Paris’s George V hotel and part of New York City’s Plaza hotel, he is a stockholder in Apple….—a calorie-counting cell-phone addict who loves texting James Murdoch

One of the largest shareholders in Citigroup, the second-largest voting shareholder in News Corporation after the Murdoch family, and with major stakes in dozens of other Western companies, he travels the globe….

Over the last two decades, he has swooped in with tons of cash to aid various companies and superstars at their low points, including London’s Canary Wharf, Citigroup, EuroDisney, Apple, Donna Karan (the company), and Michael Jackson, to name but a few. On the day of our second meeting, in late April 2012, the prince was clutching a small string of prayer beads as he talked about News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch and Citigroup’s then C.E.O., Vikram Pandit.

The ties between Alwaleed and Murdoch run deep. Alwaleed owns 56.2 million shares of Murdoch’s News Corporation; News Corporation, in turn, owns a 19.9 percent stake, worth around $150 million, in Rotana, Alwaleed’s privately held pan-Arab media conglomerate, based in Bahrain. As much of the world knows by now, last year was not a good year for Murdoch. Due to a phone-hacking investigation into his British newspapers, he was forced to close the major London tabloid News of the World, abandon his bid for control of the satellite network BSkyB, shunt aside his younger son and heir apparent, James, and testify before Parliament about the company’s abuses of power. Some 32 people, most of them former and current News Corp. employees, have been arrested since the phone-hacking scandal was uncovered…..

….He remains supportive of 40-year-old James. “James is not my partner only in News Corp.,” Alwaleed said. “He’s also my partner in the Rotana. . . . He’s a highly ethical, professional, decent man. I think of his honesty. I’m thinking of him. I know him very well.” They are texting pals, and James is on his speed dial…..

    Here’s a comment I left on Breitbart:
These lefty crazies seem to be easily stirred to violence by lefty journalists for whom there are no adverse consequences.

Here’s a story about a ‘journalist’, Monisha Rajesh, employed by the Guardian newspaper in Britain, who twittered an incitement for the assassination of Mr. Trump.

Correctly, the American security authorities are famous for the lack of humour with which they treat threats to the life of their President. If you think it is ‘inappropriate’ for such people as this ‘journalist’ to get away such rash and inflammatory incitements, especially considering the very volatile situation mentioned in the above story, please contact the relevant American authorities and request them to make it clear to this person, her employers, and the British government, how very unamused they are about this incident.

Fixed the link. Sometimes wordpress seems to bork an html tag. I’m certain at times I’ve done it right, yet it changed. In your case, the close tag was there, but converted to inactive via substitution of the & lt ; series for the open angle bracket. The close bracket was something like a “;” so might have been a typo or a WP swap.

    Per FOX:

Note I was not swearing their validity, just pointing out they were professional and avoided the scandals. Honest journalism need not be unbiased. They were honest and professional.

Just like I watch RT and used to watch Al Jazeera America and watch the BBC and even DW, I’ll continue to watch Fox. Honest bias still informs (often more than hidden lies…). So RT is blatently pro Russia, I’m OK with that. It informs the Russian position. Al Jazera is anti Israel and pro Islam. I’m OK with that as it informs the Arab Muslim position. Wash and repeat…

It is claiming to be an unbiased reporter, then as moderator feeding your questions to one side in advance. Fox didn’t do that. It is passing your article for review prepublication, to one side. Fox didn’t do that. Etc. Bias I can deal with, since all writers have some, and frankly I get more from the observable bias as it informs too. That whole compare and contrast thing. Back room dealing is the immoral evil done by PBS, CNN, and MSNBC. Fox didn’t do that, so it stays in the rotation.

Whatever their bias becomes, I’m OK with that. I’ll find some other source for the Conservative Bias, as needed.

Have sympathy for me. I’m due to have dinner with 4 strongly Remainer relatives and two snow flakes all of whom thought I was bonkers when I said this time last year that I was voting Brexit and I could see why Trump had a chance to win the US election. Anything bad that happens in the next 20 years is going to be my fault.

  19. Svend Ferdinandsen says:

It is a funny word “snowflakes”, and as not american/english spoken i would like an explanation.
I feel somehow the meaning, but would like a proper explanation to understand it.
Anyway it must be hard to be “snowflakes” with global warming.

It is pathetic with these demonstrations against Trump (against half the voters). They completely missed their timing.

  20. TinyCO2 says:

Snowflake is a bit of an insult to the current generation of young adults who want all life’s hardships removed eg students in some places must be warned if something the lecturer is about the bring up will upset them. The student then has the opportunity to either prepare themselves of even leave. In some places clapping has been banned in favour of waving because clapping might be seen as agressive. Many want only jobs that interest them and prefer living at home to doing an unsuitable job. They want to live in the same luxury they grew up with and don’t see why they can’t. Their natural enemy is the Baby Boomer generation who own all the houses, have great pensions, put loads of CO2 into the atmosphere and caused the financial crash/Brexit/Trump, thereby RUINING THEIR LIVES FOREVER.

Of course, most people of both generations are perfectly nice, hard working people but the annoying ones are easy to find.

  21. Power Grab says:

    Good description, Tiny.

I think the label “snowflake” is used because snowflakes are said to be unique, every last one of them. People who THINK they are so unique and special that they should always be given special treatment are just setting themselves up for disappointment. They need to learn that EVERYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD is just as unique as they are!

It’s a hard lesson for them to learn.

  22. beththeserf says:

Svend, I think that a ‘snowflake’ is someone who goes into meltdown
when things get hot, as in the saying, ‘If you can’t stand the heat stay
    out of the kitchen’

  23. E.M.Smith says:

The notion is that real snow snowflakes are incredibly fragile and break / melt if touched… and so do the snowflake people. Note that it also contains “flake” that is itself an insult implying poor function and low mental function. It does also carry the other aspects mentioned. Unique and “special” … though a snark might point out destined to become dirty slush… The essence, though, being the “pretty but fragile” aspect.

  24. Larry Ledwick says:

It is also a play on “Isn’t he special”? (the northern version of “bless his heart).

  25. Larry Ledwick says:

You will have to translate this page which comments about how this election destroyed the major media and proved that they are irrelevant if the public finds them untrustworthy.

The real question is will this lesson be absorbed by the media types and lead to a return to sound no bias journalism of the Who, what, when, where, and why with no judgement of old school journalism. Leaving the evaluation for the editorial pundits and the public.

  26. Larry Ledwick says:

Handout given to protesters which showed up on twitter:
The tweet did not identify the specific protest location.

  27. Pouncer says:

EM:” The notion is that real snow snowflakes are incredibly fragile and break / melt if touched…Unique and ‘special’ … though a snark might point out destined to become dirty slush… The essence, though, being the ‘pretty but fragile’ aspect. ”

Another component of the snowflake term might be “whiteness”. Not having racial (skin color) based discrimination to contend with, some persons of pallor may try to assert the privileges of victim-hood by announcing their unique, fragile, and threatened class of uniqueness. Examples might be Gender self-identification (LGBT & ETC); Politically chosen dietary self-restrictions (Vegans): and of course the self-selected guardians of planetary climate (Global Warming Affirmers). Most snowflakes turn out to, at first glance, enjoy the privileges of the Western, Educated, ( or White/European) Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic (W.E.I.R.D.) societies and social classes. But look again, more deeply, and hear their cry, smell their fear, and taste their tears, and you may then realize just how uniquely and especially victimized these poor fragile flakes may be.

  28. Larry Ledwick says:

On this Veterans day in the US, this is an appropriate read.
Includes Marcus Luttrell’s speech about what happened to his unit.

  29. Alexander K says:

Here in New Zealand, about as far from the Western world as one can be physically, our media snowflakes are whining prodigiously, incredibly hurt that the Evil One did not get herself elected.
I am in my eighth decade on the planet and cannot believe the extreme vacuity and silliness of the nonsense that the precious little darlings are rushing into print with, or the degree of corruption of the print and broadcast media to actually promulgate the stuff.
Having started infant school school in the financially straightened years immediately following WWII, I know about financial stress, hand-me-down clothes and home-made undies re-manufactured from white cotton flour sacks and plain but wholesome food garnered from carefully-cultivated kitchen gardens tended by our mothers while our fathers and older brothers were ‘away at the war’ but none of us saw ourselves as poor or hard done by, it was just the way the world was, so the current generation of spoiled Lefty brats are like a foreign tribe who suffer from a really heavy dose of Marxism..

I’ve been smiling for 3 days, but that made me chuckle.
My mother’s folks farmed with horses — a bit before my time. First use of a tractor I remember, it was not pulling anything. It was my uncle’s turn to thrash and the community owned machine was brought over and the tractor was hooked up with a long belt, like this:

Except the court cases against Trump keep getting tossed out.

In the Trump University case the original plaintiff had up vids giving glowing praises of the case.

Think about it. How many who graduate from college find their degree is worthless in today’s society? There are two partys involve and one of those is the student. If some of the Trump university students found the info helpful and went on to success than a conviction in Trumps case opens up lawsuits against ALL universities by unsucessful graduates.

Perhaps EVERYONE who ended up with a useless degree should bring lawsuits against as many universities as possible. Hubby for example has a degree in Physics but ended up a technical writer not a physicist.

  33. Gail Combs says:

Direct connection between the Democratic Party and the riots:

Alex Jones mention that he has gotten many reports, too many to detail of Hiltery supporters beating the sh!t out of Trump supporters.

Here is a video of one beating:

….YouTube quickly deleted the video, but it has been mirrored on numerous different websites.

If the roles had been reversed, and Trump supporters had been caught on tape viciously beating a black Hillary voter, this would be a national news story right now.

As it is, you won’t see this on CNN any time soon…..

These DemonRat B@$t@rds are really really trying to start a race war aren’t they.

@Gail; you wondered,”Why in Hades is AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka in FAVOR of the Gang of 8 immigration that threatens American Union workers. What was the back room deal?” Richard Trumka is a card carrying Communist. The AFL-CIO had a bylaw that communists could not head that union but it was rescinded so he could be elected. Communist or, International Socialist Party, is not FOR workers, It is for the international CONTROL of all workers. American union workers are middle class that must be reduced to the same level of servitude as the rest of the worlds workers…pg

    @ omanuel

Maybe not. Final result could be 309 to 232. So 39 of them would have to vote against their electorate.

  40. Larry Ledwick says:

Just a reminder of what the “deplorables” are really fighting against. The Trump backlash is a response to a direct assault on our culture and social conventions that helps keep America free. A key part of that assault, is the subtle continuous warfare of political correctness. PC is little different from the efforts of totalitarian governments to identify and fix one portion of their population as “deplorable” (ie not worthy of protection, and empower others to attack them) through political correctness and a constant assault on free expression. Labeling actions with intents regardless of why the action was taken. PC is the early stages of a totalitarian ideology trying to demonize their most dangerous opponents, those who can see through their propaganda and are willing to speak out about it and share that wisdom with others not yet aware of the coming storm.

I expect we will see a huge push at applying “thought crimes” and Political Correctness speech policing on the Trump supporters as Trump enters the white house. The current protests are only the beginning of a long hot summer next year when I suspect they will try to make the cities blow up in chaos.

Confront the challenge don’t let it get traction among the silent majority who just want to get along and have a good life or like the Jews and the Poles in 1939 we will be pushed into first cultural ghettos and then into physical ghettos by these closet totalitarians.

The above history of PC, points out the goal is to destroy the protective cultural standards that allow a peaceful population to resist totalitarian control. Mass immigration is just a tool to let the immigrants accelerate that destruction and set up the conditions that will justify a government crack down and creeping addition of new hate crimes and thought crimes with which they can bludgeon the population into submission.

What a marvelous article. I’d often wondered what root lead to the PC Disease… surprising yet not really surprised to see it leads to a fusion of two failed thinkers, Marx & Freud. (Jung was more right..)

  42. pg sharrow says:

The Soros Brown shirts will keep this up for awhile but they don’t really seem to be getting any traction in creating a civil war. 43. Larry Ledwick says:

This would be funny if it was not such a sad commentary on the left.

I have frequently commented to myself that one of the hallmarks of progressives and folks on the left is their singular lack of imagination about what happens when they pioneer some outrage against rule of law or social convention and then they are absolutely astonished when they first realize that someone who has a different set of values might do the same thing to them. Only then is it a bad thing but the moment their guy is back in power, it is just peachy keen again.

  45. E.M.Smith says:

The fraud of such street theatre is corrosive to society. No order can long last once the “leadership” or parties and social organs chose manicured lies for effect over truth. The USSR proved that.

I fear our universities are worse than usless producing negative results, and our formal media a waste of resources. Government became a net loss long ago.

I hope Trump can fix it, as the alternative is chaos in not too many years.

The perpetrators, instigators, and funders need arresting and prison time.

  46. Larry Ledwick says:

Interesting view of Trump and the US from Germany. It is clear that they see populism as a “disease” to be avoided, not recognizing it is a symptom of systemic failures which the current political climate is pushing.

All Trump has to do is grab Soros & Sons and ship their a$$es to Putin as a peace gesture. Let Putin deal with them. I am sure they will like a Siberian jail cell heated with yak dung.

  51. G. Combs says:

I think it is time to cut ALL funds to universities. With the debt the USA has we do not need to support more leaches and colleges now have way too much useless Admin staff.

Also I understand the US government is funding college loans. Time to cut that and toss it back to local banks.

These two moves will make colleges and universities retrench, rethink and restructure to provide useful graduates.

If necessary gear up the technical schools that turn out machinists, electricians, carpenters, draftsman …. as alternatives to basketweaving and African studies.

I just hope Trump lasts 8 years.

  52. Larry Ledwick says:

I think the Federal management of student loans is a scam to allow the Federal Government to have an interest earning portfolio of student loans as a profit center to help fun their spending. It is essentially a sneaky tax levied against unsophisticated young adults who are conned into getting college degrees even if they don’t support any useful career path.

Better yet they cannot be discharged by bankruptcy so basically all those kids have been sold into slavery by the Federal Government.

  53. Larry Ledwick says:

    From Twitter:

CNN reported the night of the election that, “Trump insiders were reporting they know they had lost.” Of course, this was pure fantasy.

Bill Mitchell ‏@mitchellvii 6 minutes ago
Question. Everyone in the Trump camp KNOWS CNN is the enemy. Why the HELL would “Trump insiders” be saying ANYTHING to CNN?

Bill Mitchell ‏@mitchellvii 5 minutes ago
When the media say, “Trump insiders claim,” what they really mean is, “we just now made this sh*t up.”

  55. philjourdan says:

@Another Ian – LOL! I am having a great time watching these snowflakes melt. While Impeachment is an issue, it is NOT an issue before you become president! There is no pre-crime in the US.

And he would have to betray a lot of promises to go farther than Obama for impeachable offenses.

Finally, no one (who knows anything) was talking about Hillary being impeached. Tried and convicted, yes. But not impeached. For the simple reason you can only be impeached for crimes committed WHILE IN OFFICE. Hillary’s crimes happened before she would have been president, so she would have at least a 4 year grace period before criminal prosecution could be exercised.

  56. Larry Ledwick says:

Bet you won’t see much about this in the major media.

  58. G. Combs says:

Excellent article by Daniel Greenfield. We really have a fight on our hands to wrest control of our country back from the Totalitarians. Even though it is after the elections, the fight has only just begun. It is amazing to see just how far gone the USA is. Trump truly is our last hope for a free country.

  59. E.M.Smith says:

I suggest that instead of calling them “extreme left” we start pushing the term “Alt-Left” ;-)

Please to also remember the demographics of the vote. the “uneducated” (by which they mean not gone to Indoctrination Camp U…) voted Trump. Those molded by The System more for Hillary. I saw this starting in the ’70s as my school moved from All Practical All The Time (an Ag School) to adding things like Sociology and Foo Studies that are simply left wing indoctrination centers.

It is perfectly logical (once you recognize the parasitize and re-direct pattern of The Left) to send $Billions of slush funds to Colleges to then be used to indoctrinate to The Left… Since they also want an impoverished Proletariat to form the basis of The Revolution, assuring the students exit indoctrinated and in debt gives them just the voters they want.

So I’m all for funding the universities. Just cut the checks directly to the Engineering, Ag, and hard sciences departments and ONLY for student grants. (Social Studies and Lit not so much… Political Science not at all)

Oh, and I’d only have Grants for students who need them. None of this government loans crap.

Yeah, I’m watching this Pow Wow of Soros and Friends in NYC as they plan how to subvert the elected government… Somehow “Conspiracy to Treason” comes to mind… but I’m sure there is some other more fitting charge…

Also, per Soros, all Trump has to do is “recognize” the international arrest warrant issued by Russia…

Oh, and I do think it would be a nice gesture if he issued a pardon to Julian Assange. After all, the guy exposed rampant illegal activity and corruption, and likely got Trump elected. There was a Swedish Govt “Meet and interrogate” at the Ecuadorian Embassy. The Swedes are thinking of dropping the sex charges. That would just leave the USA after him.

Frankly, I think he has done the world a very very great service. The thought of 8 years of Hillary (once in, the vote would be manicured like never before to keep her in) and what that would have done to the world is just chilling.

  60. G. Combs says:

    E.M. Agreed on Assange.

After all he is NOT an American so I do not see that the USA has any gripe with him. Also he is not working for a foreign country as an espionage agent within the USA. He is an Australian computer programmer and journalist. If US Journalists who were citizens residing in the USA were not charged over the Pentagon Papers, how can the USA justify charging a foreign journalist?

But then I have not paid much attention to the legal aspects.
