For Fun – Star Wars Parody

Because I can only stand so much dismal in one day… a bit of levity.

It helps if you are a Star Wars fan, or really really think it’s dumb – either one ;-)

Not quite as much fluff, but certainly enough nonsense:

Then the classic, or how it begins:

And it’s not our fault, it isn’t about US!!! ;-)

I suppose it could be worse “in the real world”… the Democrats might be manipulated by a rich toad like Sith Lord… Oh, wait! ;-)

    You’ve probably already seen these, but well, I like them :)

  2. Pouncer says:

    Sgt Pepper’s Star Wars

  3. E.M.Smith says:

    @Jon K:

    I’d not seen them before, but I have now ;-)

    I’m a bit late to the whole video thing. In fact, at the start of this blog a few years back, I didn’t even have pictures or graphics. I’m a textual kind of guy ;-)

    @Pouncer:

    How did you know I like Sgt. Pepper!? ;-)

  4. ossqss says:

    Some of those are pretty good! ;-)

    I am in the midst of watching what I thought was a fiction movie (when I first saw it) tonight.

    1984

    Maybe I will ask Google if it still is fiction? One wonders/wanders?

    I love good parody. The ones you gave us are equally good. That would be parody parity, wouldn’t it?

  6. H.R. says:

    @corsair red: A parody parity party?

  7. E.M.Smith says:

    If done often and regularly, a periodic parody parity party? Perhaps?

  8. H.R. says:

    Possibly….

  9. Bill S says:

    I’m trying to figure out how to saturate the internet with Frank Sinatra’s “it was a very good year

  10. H.R. says:

    @Bill S. – A worthy goal. There are far worse things one could listen to… like anything recorded after Janis Joplin died, Pink Floyd excepted.

    I wish you success!

  11. corsair red says:

    H.R., I take it you don’t listen to Dwight Yoakam. If ” A Thousand Miles From Nowhere ” isn’t good music, nothing is.
    And Don Williams:

  12. corsair red says:

    @H.R., @E.M.Smith ;
    Yes, a periodic parody parity party. Perhaps? Possibly? Potentially. But there is sooo much bad parody. So then, perforce, a periodic parody parity purity party. Perhaps in Pomona, or Pensacola, or Palmyra, Pennsylvania.

  13. H.R. says:

    @corsair red:
    I listened to Dwight every Wednesday and Sunday up until 1973. He had to listen to me so it evened out.

  14. E.M.Smith says:

    I surrender to the Master of P-ing ;-)

    @E.M.Smith:
    Hmmmm, a dubious title, but no one has offered me another. I could take it with two meanings, but it never snows enough here in Fl for me to learn to write my name. :-)
