“If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine!”

Sargon, you’re our only hope… or something like that ;-)

This is the kind of thing I’ve been talking about. What the Fools Of The Loony Side Of Left do not understand is that: thinking people adapt and that technology is not theirs to control. The entire Dark Web is evidence of that.

OK, I’m going to coin a new word: Grey Web.

It isn’t entirely illegal and illicit and forbidden things, like the bulk of the Dark Web; but is the Politically Persecuted “grey” areas. The folks who may well be visible outside the “deep web” but for other than illegality.

IMHO, this is the start of the rise of the Grey Web. As the major providers are executing a Jihad against anything not hard core Left Wing, similar to how the hard core Right Wing drove things into the Dark Web with legal prosecution: The alternatives arise.

As there is no illegality involved, this will just be a parallel set of structures and providers that does NOT indulge in the Political Left Persecution. It can stay visible on The Web (at least for now…) so long as the players have the Guts to tell their harassers to STFU when the SJW Hoard Of Locusts descends on them.

We, collectively, just trusted our various providers (of financial, blogging, “social media” communications, etc.) to be fair and unbiased providers. As they prove that is NOT the case, a parallel set of providers will arise. (My only regret is not having a way to join one of them and make a BUNDLE out of it… even 1/4 of Google’s business is a BIG business!). We can now see it happening in real time.

Youtube begat Bitchute, Twitter & Faceplant begat Gab.ai and Twister, and now Patreon begat the growth of SubscribeStar. (AND the various back end money handlers have now increased the profits for another bunch of money handlers a great deal too…)

As noted, the Dark Web already handles things like drugs, porn, gambling, and more despite being entirely illegal and forbidden. To quote a move hacker somewhere “you can’t stop the bits…”… Compared to that, the Grey Web is child’s play. It is just setting up a legitimate business on an established model with agreeable infrastructure providers; or becoming an agreeable infrastructure provider yourself and banking even more…

AT MOST, the attempts at political oppression and suppression of free speech can cause a month or two of “dip”, then things come roaring back (often stronger than ever). Oddly, an example is ROKU. For a while, the Alex Jones show INFOWARS was available as an “app” there. Now they, too, have succumbed to The Big Stupid and removed it. The result? I spent most of the few days after that watching InfoWars… ON ROKU! (On a minor public access channel that also carries it…) Now that doesn’t mean Alex Jones is home free. But I find it fascinating that I watched it about 3 hours total in the years prior to it being made a “Political Target”, then watched it about 200 hours during the assault on them… and now have watched it for a few days almost all day when told it was not going to be available on Roku anymore… on Roku. Just to be cuss’ed about it. IF the feed I presently use get’s whacked, then I’ll run it directly from their web page. (And if that gets hit, I’ll volunteer to show them how to bypass all that crap…)

There is nothing quite like saying something is FORBIDDEN! to get folks to exert themselves greatly to get it. See The Porn Wars and The Drug Wars – being lost for generations now…

So, with that: Please search out Sargon of Akkad and subscribe. Send him money if you can and like his stuff. Right now he’s the Centrist Knight out in front taking PC-arrows for NOTHING (he literally was giving grief to White Supremacists by calling them “white Nig…” n-word… yet the Loony Left could hot figure that out… he’s a “Slightly Left” near as I can tell, but learning what it means to be 1 foot off of “ultra-left”…

Sidebar on me: Just a minor FYI. I like to say “It isn’t about ME”, because I really do think I’m just not important and definitely not very interesting. But just a reminder that while I support Trump, it is entirely BECAUSE he is essentially middle of the bird and a populist. He isn’t Right Wing (see the Never Trumpers in the Republican party…) and he isn’t Left Wing (obviously). He IS Pro-America. As I’ve stated before: I’m 100% in favor of your right to do whatever you want with your body. Drugs. Prostitution. Whatever (as long as it is from your own free will and not coerced). I have offspring as “donor dad” to “2 Moms” couples. I’m fine with that. (Some of the kids have contacted me and they seem to have turned out very well.) I don’t care what race someone is, I care about the “content of their character” and my “clan” has been busy marrying all sorts (including but not limited to Hispanic, American Indian, and we think some Africa via Puerto Rico but nobody has cared enough to find out for sure). I find it funny when folks on the Alt-Left try to call me “right wing” or “racist”; and I think I know how the Republican Blacks feel when they are called “racist” by the same folks. I’m a solid “leave me the hell alone” small government Libertarian, and I think they ought to leave you alone too. It isn’t about Left vs Right; it is all about US vs the manipulative Greedy Evil Bastards running the Globalist Overlords organs like the UN, EU, IMF, etc. etc. That Trump is a bull in their China Closet is why I like him.

So as the Alt-Left Socialists try to lock us all up in their Thought Crime Box, realize there is lots of room for the rise of the Grey Web and hopefully it will win out long before we need to resort to Dark Web methods and software. Though know I’m ready, willing, and very able to help roll them out too.

I recall the donor bit. You may have mentioned the contact bit but I don’t recall it offhand. Interesting. It seems to have gone well. Good!

I don’t care what race someone is, I care about the “content of their character” and my “clan” has been busy marrying all sorts (including but not limited to Hispanic, American Indian, and we think some Africa via Puerto Rico but nobody has cared enough to find out for sure).

Same here. We have Heinz 57 holidays at our place. Anti-miscegenation is so last century.

I find it funny when folks on the Alt-Left try to call me “right wing” or “racist, and I think I know how the Republican Blacks feel when they are called “racist” by the same folks

I just laugh. Those spewing BS don’t even know it. Sad.

Me too, and President Trump is America First. That does not fit into a Right or Left or Democrat or Republican narrative. The only puzzlement to me is why all Americans aren’t “America First”. (OK, I’m not really puzzled. I know all about GEBs, Commies, March Through the Institutions, and sheeple.)

I’d say, “Nice rant,” except it isn’t a rant as much as it is an astute observation on the current state of things.

Brings to mind that old song

“Shut the door: they’re coming through the window

Shut the window: they’re coming through the door”

  4. H.R. says:

@Another Ian – I’ve never heard that old song… but I’d like to.

  5. John F. Hultquist says:

I got into a discussion about “America First” & “Make America Great Again” that then transitioned into Trump & me being accused of “white” nationalism.
My response was, who the hell said anything about “white”?
Well of course they said, Trump was using the phrase and was therefore a racist.
Trump does talk about nationalism and “Make America Great Again” [a campaign slogan used years before by Ronald Reagan, with ‘Let’s’ leading].
One of the folks has a smart phone so I said look it up! Show me where Trump used “white Nationalism” in any manner as you claim. They couldn’t but still claimed that is what “nationalism” means. Look it up, I said. So he did, read the foremost definition, and then shut his phone off, and shut up.

I don’t like nor wear the style of hat called a “baseball hat.” I want a 360° brim, often called a fisherman’s hat or “bucket” hat. No one else seems to go for this.
And neither do I want this:
cute lady in a Cinco de Mayo MAGA hat

    Regading the song:

See this quote from Ray Bradbury about his book Fahrenheit 451:
    Shut the door etc. …

The song is here (with gobs of screen crap):
    https://www.kididdles.com/lyrics/s100.html

  7. H.R. says:

@John F. H.: I alternate between a full ’round hat and ball caps. Make of that what you will.

Note that I wear the full brim when I’m fishing or when it’s raining, because it keeps the sun off of my ears or the rain off my glasses and funnels the water down to my waterproof jacket.. Otherwise, it’s the ball cap.

Just to complicate things, I wear the ball cap to hide my bed-head hair, but wearing the ball cap gives me hat hair. It’s a vicious circle. Life and hats can be cruel. 😜😆😆

  8. E.M.Smith says:

I want one of those “Cinco De Mayo MAGA” hats! My Best Friend (a Mexican kid) gave me a Sombrero once… They are a very smart idea for those of us “Melanin challenged” in the sun!

Nope ‘n nope re ‘comfortably numb,’

    anything but, (numb) that is,
    numb is what the UN,
    EU want us to be,

  11. Graeme No.3 says:

Well, I’m pure Anglo-Saxon except one Grandparent came from the Shetlands (they don’t consider themselves Scottish let alone British) who married a girl born in NZ of German and Irish parents. The other side includes mixed English, lowland Scots and Irish (with some convict mix) and a Portuguese from the Azores).
When I suggested to a Danish bloke that I might be related to him (tongue firmly in cheek) because of my Shetland ancestry he was horrified “Oh NO, only Norwegians went there”.
On the other hand we have Aboriginal “activists” who appear on the ABC and SBS (and even more left wing offshoot), whose ancestry has been traced back 4 or 5 generations as ‘pure’ English, yet are in receipt of government pensions because of their ‘aboriginal ancestry”.
I wonder what my ancestors did wrong.

  12. David A says:

E.M. says, ” I’m 100% in favor of your right to do whatever you want with your body. Drugs. Prostitution. Whatever (as long as it is from your own free will”

I agree with a qualifier. As long as the consequences are not out of my pocket. In general the statist turn people into permanent children, spoiled enabled children with no responsibility and endless SJW justified victim-hood. Government is the parent, the citizen is the perpetual baby.

So ride a motorcycle sans a helmet without good insurance, please do not expect me to pay your medical for life. Get high and stupid on drug abuse, please do not expect me to pay for your unemployment or medical needs resulting from OD or stupid drug induced action, nor for the child that results from your irresponsible behaviour. Ok, I will pay for the child’s care, yet you will as well, and for decades, in some civil service if nothing else.

Not only do statist enable and glorify victim-hood, they make fraud on the system so damm easy. I have been retired for almost 10 years. I can still work for various contractors who are signatory to the Union doing this work, but I am limited to a maximum of 40 hours per month.

However that work makes me eligible for unemployment benefits. Every retired person I know ( excepting myself) collects these benefits. They all simply lie on the part of the form that asks if you looked for work. However not one of them looked for a part time or full time position elsewhere, and all of them are capable of such work.
Instead they collect there pension, plus their two grand for work, plus about $800.00 per month for the 3 weeks they do not work. And some of them get their SS now as well. Some of them are very much to the left and in defense of such programs for the NEEDY At a monthly 6 k pension, plus 1.5 k in work, plus 2 k in SS, ( $114,000. annually) they are hardly in NEED of their additional 800 per month, yet their need for self-respect and integrity is great. The unemployment money they collect comes from you and I.

    @David A:

Right. Personal liberty must come with personal responsibility as well…

  14. E.M.Smith says:

    @Graeme No3:

When I was a kid and told where all my ancestry originated (list of countries + Amish German) it sounded like “all over Europe”. When tracked down, they all originated near one side of the English Channel or the other…(in the broad sense of The Channel as ‘the water between England and Europe’) Even the Amish (who arrived in America from Switzerland) started out in the part of Germany / Holland on the coast of The Channel area / North Atlantic waters.

Now what all they mixed in along the way as they wandered the world, who knows. But it was an interesting surprise to realize all those divergent groups could be traced back to the shores of that body of water…. Not a surprise for the 3 generations of sailors in H.M. Merchant Marine as they clearly were sea based; but a big surprise for my “Swiss German” origin Amish, that started on the coast before running off to Switzerland. Then there’s the Irish who originated on the Iberian coast and crossed over to Ireland.

It just seems that “My People” were busy crossing over and back on the waters North & West of Europe for a few generations and as a few different nationalities. No big surprise, then, that they then crossed a bigger chunk of water to North America… Though the ones who went to Australia went a bit further ;-)

Somewhere “Down Under” there are a bunch of “Sumner”s related to my clan. I used to think maybe the name had something to do with Sums and math ability; then I later learned it was short for “Summoner” – the guys who would Summon you before the Crown. Basically Royal Bounty Hunters ;-) So one of my Grandfather’s Brothers (who was also in HM MM) on a trip to Australia decided to not come back (no surprise there ;-) but was not an actual summoner then, just a sailor. BUT no doubt there were lots of other Sumners who went “down under” as there’s quite a few by that name there now. A bit too many to sort out which ones are relatives 100+ years later…

Oddly, there’s one exception. The Smith name comes from a fellow about whom we know very little. He got off a boat in Virginia in the late 1700s and worked iron, and had a large nose. (Also blue eyes as that’s a recessive trait and we’ve got it). We don’t know his country of origin, but it was highly likely somewhere on the Atlantic Coast of Europe or the UK.

After a few decades of knowing each other, I shared this story with my Florida Friend… who promptly pointed out HIS people arrived in Virginia in the 1700s… Now, as there were very few places boats unloaded then, it is almost a certainty that our ancestors met in that new colonial area. (Then ran off to wander the country, mine north, his south) and then we met up in California… Not a lot of working Blacksmith’s then, there, and his folks would certainly have needed Smithing services (horses shod if nothing else).

Strange how the different strands of migrants weave over time, over continents, and yet the roots all reach back to a bunch of sea oriented people on the North Atlantic coastlines centered on the English Channel. Sometimes I wonder if they were, perhaps, a few thousand years earlier, the Sea People who ran around the Mediterranean during a cold turn and had a tussle with the Egyptians ;-) I can’t imagine these people who were centered on seas and shipping just suddenly got that way without a few generations prior already being sea oriented… We do seem to be drawn to living near coastlines. Not really happy if more than a day’s ride away. Even the batch in Iowa lived by the side of the Mississippi (Dad would fish it as a kid…) and it is a major shipping route. Family story is that Granddad was from one side of the Big Muddy and Grandma was from the other side… Well then somebody had to cross the water ;-) Don’t know if he crossed to shoe their horses (Amish) or her family crossed to get smithing work done, but somebody got on a boat. (1800s didn’t have a lot of giant steel bridges over the river…). Then my Mum crossed to America on the Queen Mary just post W.W.II, so continuing the trend ;-) Maybe I need to find a cruise ship for my next trip to Florida, just to keep things right and proper with our family heritage ;-)

  15. Graeme No.3 says:

Well, there are 246 Sumners listed in the White Pages (as having the old fashioned home phones) but only one EM Sumner. I don’t fancy your chances of finding your relative.
The numbers are concentrated in NSW (72) and Vic. (79) with a rather large (46) in SA. That’s 80%, so I am assuming that he probably stepped ashore in one of those States.
Do you know an approx. date? My grandfather left ship in WA in 1892 when the gold rush was starting there. NSW & Vic. had their goldrushes in the 1850’s/60’s which would be too early.

  16. E.M.Smith says:

No date. Someone has it, but likely in the UK. I think it was about the 1890s given ages for my Grandad and Mum, but that is just a guess. IFF it was an older brother, could be a decade earlier.

FWIW, we might also be related to Sting. His given name is Sumner and both families have George as a frequent name, while they also trace to a location with a George Sumner in charge. Just a few fact checks needed, but they might not be possible (shortage of old data). He also looks rather like our clan…

The British diaspora really has big footprints and a long stride… there’s even an Aunt in Canada. One family, 3 continents (that I know of) and a few countries, in 2 generations…
