An interesting video from The Heritage Foundation. In it, the author of Power Grab tells some of the ways that the Democrats use “dirty tricks” and legal manipulations to steal power. Note that there is also a book with the title “Power Grab” by Christopher Horner. This is not that book, but another one…
Just the few anecdotes given make it very clear things are much more corrupt than I’d thought. But at least now I know why Nadler is acting like such a troll and donkey’s rear. Their whole culture is deception, distraction, and dirty tricks.
Just the notion that there is an operations manual on how to disrupt and take over Town Hall meetings so as to create the illusion that your opponent is “controversial” is repugnant. It prevents ME from talking to MY Representative.
Then the use of “Non Profits” via a leveraged “fund raiser” to create voter profiles to know who’s vote to thwart, just so wrong.
Here’s their web site on it:
In “Power Grab,” Jason Chaffetz pulls back the curtain on the world of hypocrisy, political intrigue, and procedural malfeasance that is Washington D.C.
Description
In the years he served on and eventually chaired the United States House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Jason Chaffetz gained crucial insight into the inner workings of D.C. Things were bad then, but during the Trump administration, liberals have reached a new level of hysteria and misconduct.In Power Grab, Chaffetz pulls back the curtain on the world of hypocrisy, political intrigue, and procedural malfeasance that is Washington D.C. With stories you won’t read anywhere else, he shows how the left weaves false narratives, drums up investigations in search of a crime, and refuses to direct congressional oversight towards its appropriate target: the government. Democrats weaponize nonprofit advocacy groups and monetize partisan anger to line the pockets of their political allies. They use “voter enrollment” as a smokescreen to hide their plans to destabilize free elections and seek to politicize federal agencies like the Federal Election Commission, the IRS, and the Department of Justice.
It shouldn’t be this way. Democrats have abandoned the wisdom set forth in the Constitution for short-term political wins. Power Grab shows the lengths to which Democrats will go to maintain their grip on power, and how the only thing that will stop them is a return to our founding principles.
I sit here in stunned amazement at the level of immorality used as S.O.P.
I knew politics was a “dirty business”, but clearly it is more of a mud wallow with cholera infested pigs than simple “dirt”.
Then, of course, Amazon has it:
Michael Malkin has a new book out exposing the world wide cabal… gotta get it.
Jon Caldara is the president of the Colorado-based Independence Institute and one of my favorite Coloradans (I lived in Colorado for 30 years before moving to Thailand two years ago). In the following 11-minute video he describes how Colorado went from reliably “red” to deep purple in a space of about ten years. One of the latest things that happened in Colorado is “same day voter registration” that the Democrat-controlled state legislature passed into law a few years ago. This enables the Dems to bus large numbers of voters on or just before election day to districts with close races, then “move” them back to where they actually live before the next election cycle. All voting in Colorado has been by mail-in ballot for the past several election cycles, which is what enables them to be able to completely corrupt the election process (by enabling them to keep track of how many votes are being cast for whom on a day-by-day basis in the month or so leading up to election day). One of the left-wing “millionaires” that Caldara mentions just got himself elected Governor of the state.
Mail in ballots are a favorite Democratic tool for count manipulation. I even used it once to out maneuver a Democratic/teamster political ring by registering even more phony residents to vote than the total population of the town including men women and children,the dogs and cats. He and his cohorts were dumbfounded to have lost their sure thing. Even more dumbfounded when the Feds prosecuted him and his PR man for mail fraud!…pg
p.g.: “[…] including men women and children, the dogs and cats.”
LOL! Great story, p.g.! Don’t need further details. Imagining your electoral machinations is fun enough.
.
.
P.S. You left out the squirrels. Why on God’s green Earth didn’t you register the squirrels? … and the bunnies… and the bears… :o)
………………………….and fish. You forgot to register the fish! Wait up! =ish just go with the flow.
@Lynn Clark:
Match that with what the video describes as weaponized “charities” (where they ask for a donation, but are really looking to mark you as with them or against) then can go back on election day and offer to “deliver your ballot for you”…
It does look like we need to gt familiar with “vote harvesting” ( I think that was the term…) and either stop it or have both sides do it. Balance of power and all that.
“Vote Harvesting” is just organized fraud. More trunks full of “found” ballots. I hear that the Republicans are going to launch their own “Vote Harvesting” operation this time
Pelosi is at it again – I do find it interesting that they are now so in your face about this sort of thing, they used to at least satisfy the appearance of procedure and fair play, but ever since “you have to pass it before you can read it” they are now openly using protection racket like methods to get things done.
Do they really think they are insulated from a push back by those they oppress?
Is that perception driven by a belief we are too stupid to notice or that they think they have us by the family jewels and we will just go along.
They are now in the -“You have a nice health care system there, it would be a shame is something happened to it” mode.

@Larry L:
Wow. That’s one sick proposal…
