Tim Pool once again does a nice summary of what’s really going on with this whole Ukraine Flap. He sites sources (that you can read on pause if desired) and gives his opinion of why folks do what they do.
My thumbnail sketch of it is that “someone” unknown is claimed to be a “Whistle-blower”, but isn’t. They have no personal knowledge and only heard something from someone else. That’s called a Rumor Monger.
It looks like when Trump was talking to the Ukrainian folks he said it was OK with him if they wanted to investigate a corrupt company. One where Joe Biden’s son was sucking down $50,000 / MONTH (clearly due to his parental connections to power). Seems Joe Biden had threatened Ukraine with holding back $1 BILLION if they did not FIRE the Prosecutor looking into the corruption.
Now in my book that’s a 2-fer. Obstruction of justice in getting the prosecutor fired and nepotism in making sure The Kid rakes in the dough.
So Trump said his admin would not blackmail Ukraine if they investigated corruption and that it was OK for them to stop crimes. Wow, the nerve! /sarc;
Now this is going through the usual Democratic Truth Washing / Removal Process and coming out the other side as Trump blackmailing Ukraine to drum up a persecution of Hunter Biden to smear Joe. Then Occasional Cortex runs with it and is livid that they didn’t start Trump impeachment over this last week…

There’s a lot of fuss about the President making a “promise” during a phone call — apparently rather than formalizing and spelling out an “agreement” on paper during a meeting.
Seems to me it very much depends on context. “I promise to send you that specific requested amount of money” is different from “I promise you we will look into that issue soon.”
Watching how this is playing out, I am beginning to wonder if the “leaker” is not Trump himself! He set those idiots up!

Accidentally heard National Public Radio on “our” ABC this afternoon, briefly. The announcer(?) was tying himself in knots about “if Trump said this” and “if Trump promised this” or if “Trump threatenned this” then could it be illegal? His answer from (presumably) a lawyer was “We don’t know what was said, if it was said, nor do we know if any promise or threat was made”. Off the announcer went again, especially about AOC saying something, at which point the off button beckoned.
These Democrats are crazy. Literally mad. Unfortunately I can’t vote against them.

The thing I regret most about this whole journey into the Global Warming Narrative and then the eventual necessary follow the money trail into the Political Narrative has been the discovery that things were vastly more corrupted than I’d ever imagined before. $Millions of bribe-o and slush money slopping around the Democratic Party (including foreign money and governments) and one presumes some share to the Republicans as well. Likely similar things involving M.P.s / Brexit in Britain. Whole armies of NGOs funded with $Billions from Soros and looking to change the world to the desires of that creepy megalomaniac. Organizations set up entirely for the purpose of demographic flooding of the prosperous west (to destroy it so it can be remade in their utopian socialist model).

Well covered over with a good “show”; but still visible with a bit of scraping at it. Thanks for the PDF link. Just finished reading it. Unfortunately, it DOES have POTUS asking Ukraine to look into Biden and the prosecutor. That’s enough of a “hook” for the Dims to hang an impeachment finding on. The only good thing is that, near as I can tell, POTUS was doing a good thing in that the whole Biden Mess is clear pay-to-play and extortion under color of office by Biden. So it will be a “race condition” between the Dimocrats saying it’s political “IMPEACH!!!!” and Trump saying “Corruption ought to be investigated and this looks fishy” and gets a lot of air time on Fox for the video of Biden saying he blackmailed Ukraine into firing the prosecutor.

For those that don’t know, anesthesiologists in the US have the highest insurance premiums because that’s where things go wrong. Cut this, snip that, make sure the patient doesn’t bleed out from some inadvertent snip, and surgeons are golden.
But anesthesiologists bear the burden of figuring out the exact combination of weight vs. an individual’s tolerance, and possible allergy to, a given anesthetic. Poor dears! I have always been way less concerned with surgery than with the anesthesiology involved. Heck! The Incas had trepanning down pat, for reasons unknown, but they seemed to have the anesthesiology under control.
Every time you turn over a rock you find more connections and shady relationships.

That Laura Loomer Link is fascinating. I had no idea Ukraine was so much “in play” as part of this whole mess and had been used so much by the Obama Admin.
It “sort of” makes sense. Soros funds a “Color Revolution” to put their folks in power. Then they treat it as a base of operations for the “Color Revolution” planned for the USA… Just like in “Go”, where you place some stones then used them to build your base of attack on the next section of the board. Only thing is, they thought they had “two eyes” (an unassailable position with no way of placing a new stone to capture it) when they really had a “false eye” (what looks like 2 eyes, but placing a stone captures one of the eyes).
Side Note: For anyone who has not played Go and likes chess or checkers at all; it is a much more dynamic and challenging game that has implications for wars and conflicts… It is especially at teaching the subtleties of indirect attack and infiltration…

I’m glad to hear that Mrs. HR is on the mend….and on the way home. As they say, “A hospital is no place for a sick person!” ;-)
My dad was a medical professional. He told me one time that anesthesiologists control the surgery, and the surgeon is not allowed to act until the anesthesiologist gives the go-ahead.
Maybe Mrs HR has the same type of system as I do. If they knock me out completely, my poo-producing machinery stays offline for at least a day longer than it does for other people.
Right before my surgery a few years ago, I had what I thought was a fun interview with the anesthesiologist. He rolled his computer into my little space and started asking what meds or supplements I was taking. I handed him my full-page, single-spaced typewritten document, complete with brand names, dosages, and dates. It took him quite a while to enter it all. When he got done, he said that since there was no research that documented what happened when you combined my stuff with what they planned to give me, he wanted me to keep on taking everything up until the day of surgery. All the standard handouts said you had to stop taking all meds and supplements a week before surgery. I figured they planned to use me as a guinea pig. I was delighted!
And when I asked when I could resume taking my probiotics, he said that I could take them whenever I could take things by mouth. Again, that was the answer I wanted to hear!

The Mrs. is home and doing well. The surgery required an abdominal incision, so she’s fine up and walking or just standing and she’s fine laying down. She says the pain isn’t all that bad.
But getting up or down brings the abdominals into play so that’s the ouch! time for her. That should back off slowly, day by day, over the course of the next week or two.
It also hurts like hell if she tries to throw anything, so I’m safe for the next week or two ;o)

@HR – Great news for Mrs HR! Fortunately for me, when I had the partial nephrectomy last year, they drilled 3 holes in me. I was out of the hospital in 24 hours. And really no pain. But I understand now why I had to pee on my own before the let me out thanks to Power Grab’s explanation.
My SIL had a hernia a few months ago (OJI), and it was laparoscopic as well. I an just amazed at how surgery has changed in my life time!
As for this story, the more that happens, the more convinced I am that Trump has set the whole thing up. I heard one talking head say “when you have to lie to support your point, you have no point” and hearing Schiffless’ opening monologue seems to prove that point.

Trump is undoubtedly using this as a lever to get some more Juicy Bits about Democratic Corruption in Ukraine into the news cycle. He has undoubtedly read the “memorialized” transcripts of them and so knows just where to put the red dot…

That sounds plausible to me. “If True” it begs a couple of quetions:
1. Is Gina Haspel as crooked as John Brennan?
2. Or has she failed to control the bad apples at the CIA?
Either way it is bad………we can’t allow crooks or incompetents to occupy high offices so failing a convincing explanation Gina Haspel needs to go and let’s hope Christopher Wray is right behind her.
