Facebook and Youtube are deleting all references to the “Whistleblower” (actually just a CIA Rumormonger) and thou shall not speak his name. It’s Italian, and the leading “Ci” is pronounced with a “Cha” sound rather like the “Charley” that one of the coup plotters referred to as their guy inside…

Whistleblower Eric [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.]: Is this the best they’ve got?

Well, Happy Halloween.The whistleblower is now pretty well outed by investigative journalist Paul Sperry, and it’s underwhelming. He’s been identified as one Eric [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.], 33, prep school grad, Yalie, Obama backwash, political operative, and fanatic Trump-hater. Hardly the Mister Probity concerned about national security that’s been painted.
Sperry did the digging but pointed out that that the man’s identity had been an open secret in the Beltway, with mainstream media doing their darnedest to keep his name from being attached to his rather spectacular charges.
Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.], a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia “collusion” investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
[Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.]’s name should be out there because it’s relevant whether all the hearsay in his legally couched charge was actually made in good faith or was just another leftist smear job under cover of government mechanisms, same as the Steele dossier.
Based on Sperry’s digging, it certainly looks like the latter.
From Sperry’s reporting, we learn that this creep wasn’t trying to make anything better within government, which is what whistleblower protections are for. He was just another leftist trying to overturn the 2016 election, and it dated from way back, starting with his propensity to leak.
In May 2017, [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] went “outside his chain of command,” according to a former NSC co-worker, to send an email alerting another agency that Trump happened to hold a meeting with Russian diplomats in the Oval Office the day after firing Comey, who led the Trump-Russia investigation. The email also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had phoned the president a week earlier.
Contents of the email appear to have ended up in the media, which reported Trump boasted to the Russian officials about firing Comey, whom he allegedly called “crazy, a real nut job.”
In effect, [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] helped generate the “Putin fired Comey” narrative, according to the research dossier making the rounds in Congress, a copy of which was obtained by RealClearInvestigations.
[Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] allegedly argued that “President Putin suggested that President Trump fire Comey,” the report said. “In the days after Comey’s firing, this presidential action was used to further political and media calls for the standup [sic] of the special counsel to investigate ‘Russia collusion.'”
Not long after that, he got kicked out of the NSC for suspected leaking, something other people have been jailed for. It raises questions as to why the heck this guy even ended up at CIA, drawing a likely six-figure salary and big bennies. He doesn’t even sound security clearance–worthy, given his propensity to leak. Tight-lipped he wasn’t.
And maybe that has a lot to do with his past politics, unimpeachably Democratic and leftist — which would amount to the real reason Democrats are protecting him. How bad was it? Sperry writes:
A CIA officer specializing in Russia and Ukraine, [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] was detailed over to the National Security Council from the agency in the summer of 2015, working under Susan Rice, President Obama’s national security adviser. He also worked closely with the former vice president.Federal records show that Biden’s office invited [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] to an October 2016 state luncheon the vice president hosted for Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. Other invited guests included Brennan, as well as then-FBI Director James Comey and then-National Intelligence Director James Clapper.
Several U.S. officials told RealClearInvestigations that the invitation that was extended to [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.], a relatively low-level GS-13 federal employee, was unusual and signaled he was politically connected inside the Obama White House.
Former White House officials said [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] worked on Ukrainian policy issues for Biden in 2015 and 2016, when the vice president was President Obama’s “point man” for Ukraine. A Yale graduate, [Chiarly Mello – edit by E.M.S.] is said to speak Russian and Ukrainian, as well as Arabic. He had been assigned to the NSC by Brennan.
Rice, Brennan, Biden… After that, he started hanging out and plotting with Rep. Adam Schiff. With the collapse of the Mueller report, that was then the place to be…

I suspect their rationalization will be that there is a law forbidding the name disclosure and they don’t think anyone will bother to see that it is only the office of whistleblower complaints that can’t disclose by law. Everyone else is A-OK. Even Trump (despite claims it would violate the law for him to do so, that’s not the law.)

Okay let’s do some fact checking.
Extortion is obtaining benefit through coercion by threatening to do something which is legal but which would have undesirable consequences for the other party.
If the pressure applied is illegal it is called black mail.
coercion – the use of a threat to do something the other party does not want to happen, to persuade them to do something that they are unwilling to do.
So if the Ukraine government did not know funds were being held while the Trump administration was evaluating the probable end use of the funds and degree of corruption in Ukraine, (ie no threat was made) and they had already stated they would investigate corruption (ie were obviously willing to investigate) , how could that be extortion?
How exactly do you coerce behavior if the person you are talking to has no idea you can deny them something and you never ask for some performance in exchange for the thing you can deny them?
Ukraine has stated they felt no pressure and were not concerned about the conversation so by definition in their eyes there was no coercion.
You cannot have coercion if you don’t tell the other party you have leverage you could use, and in fact did not use (the funds were released)
What you are depicting as extortion everyone else sees as simply an expression of concern about an issue they had already stated they wanted to address and at worst a tip about where to look for the corruption they were investigating.
You are reading malicious intent into a perfectly normal social exchange.

Good Grief Gertie. Get control of yourself. The rumormonger had no direct knowledge and was not a participant. Extort does not mean what you think is does, or you have used the term inappropriately. The released transcripts from Shiff’s hearings provided the name, as did Real Clear Investigations, plus it has been common knowledge in DC for weeks. By now you should have realized that harm only comes to those that pose a threat to the Clintons or the Swamp. There will not be any ‘ashamed’ for acknowledging previously reported material. I can see why you say this is version 2 or 3 of the troll. His latest comment is really stupid! At least version 1 tried to make cogent arguments, not pleas of ignorance and desire.
The idiots on the left truly are getting desperate as the IG report nears completion, and Durham starts calling defendants to offer them deals.
Letting my speculation gland run wild, I’m guessing that the transcript of the first phone call, which has not been released, has the President of Ukraine naming names of US politicians who they were already investigating and asking if President Trump wanted them to lay off of any of them.
So… the transcript of the second phone call is a follow-up call where, among other things, President Trump asks about looking into what was discussed in the first call.
The reason I think that it’s along those lines is that somehow *wink wink* it was made known there was another call and the coup plotters can’t help themselves; they want it!
Once it was somehow *wink wink* known, President Trump dangled that in front of them, with indications that he really shouldn’t be sharing these phone calls with other heads of state, but if he must *reluctance, reluctance* he might release a transcript of that call.
I think a lot of swamp critters are about to step on a rake that President Trump left on the lawn and are about to get het between the eyes with the handle.
I totally admit it’s my own wild speculation. We’ll see soon enough.
Since the President is teasing the release I am strongly inclined to believe you have the basics nailed.
There is something in that first call which the Dems are not going to like. Given all those calls are monitored by several people, I am pretty sure the Dems know what is in that call (at least in broad brush strokes) either it is like you say they are about to step on a rake, or they know what is in it but they are in damage control mode but those outside the insider group will let them bury that call and forcing their hand.
Will be interesting to see how this turns.

You know, there’s this hack technique that uses unicode for odd and unusual characters from other languages that LOOK like ours, but are not. It’s good for encoding things that you don’t want picked up by things like “grep”.
I think maybe I need to work out some unicode substitutions that LOOK LIKE Eric and Chiarley but are not… Then you could print his name, in appearance, but it would not be found by most text searches… Then put that in comments on various web pages and any “Spam Filter” tuned to find and purge Chiarley references would fail to find them…

It was previously reported by the Washington Examiner that public records indicated Sean Misko, 37, started work on Schiff’s committee in August as a professional staff member. A specific start date was not available until this week, when the latest congressional quarterly disbursements were released.
The new records show that Misko’s official hire date was July 26.
