RSBN Trump Rally T Minus 5

It’s Thursday. So Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Monday then D-Day (Donald Day ;-)

He’s been running different Ads that his team has created at each rally. It’s fun to get an early view of them. (As I don’t watch any conventional TV, I don’t see them otherwise.)

Today, POTUS Trump has rallies starting in Tampa, Florida.

Thursday, October 29, 2020: Join the RSBN crew for live coverage as President Donald J. Trump holds a Make America Great Again Rally at Raymond James North Lot in Tampa, FL.

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that President Donald J. Trump will deliver remarks at a Make America Great Again Victory Rally in Tampa, Florida on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at 1:30 PM EDT. This rally will feature remarks from President Donald J. Trump and Republican candidates.

So 1:30 PM Eastern is 11:30 AM Pacific. Though Rightside usually starts the pre-show coverage an hour or two earlier.

Then Fayetteville, North Carolina:

Thursday, October 29, 2020: Join the RSBN crew for live coverage as President Donald J. Trump holds a Make America Great Again Rally at Fayetteville Regional Airport in Fayetteville, NC

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that President Donald J. Trump will deliver remarks at a Make America Great Again Victory Rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at 6:30 PM EDT. This rally will feature remarks from President Donald J. Trump and Republican candidates.

A 6:30 PM Eastern will be 3 PM Pacific, so a nice afternoon break between lunch and dinner. Not that I measure my life by meals, mind you. There’s much more to life than just food. There’s wine, and whiskey, and coffee and… ;-)

Tomorrow it’s back to the MidWest:

First is Waterford Township Michigan:

Friday October 30 2020: Join the RSBN crew for live coverage as President Donald J. Trump holds a Make America Great Again rally at Oakland County International Airport in Waterford Township, MI.

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that President Donald J. Trump will deliver remarks at Make America Great Again Victory Rallies in Waterford Township, Michigan on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 1:00 PM EDT,

So 1 PM Eastern is 11 AM Pacific for me.

Then Green Bay Wisconsin:

Friday October 30 2020: Join the RSBN crew for live coverage as President Donald J. Trump holds a Make America Great Again rally at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, WI.

Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. announced that President Donald J. Trump will deliver remarks at Make America Great Again Victory Rallies […] Green Bay, Wisconsin on Friday, October 30th, 2020 at 2:30 PM CDT,

This 2:30 PM Central will be Noon-thirty Pacific.

Then ending the day in Rochester Minnesota:

Friday October 30 2020: Join the RSBN crew for live coverage as President Donald J. Trump holds a Make America Great Again rally at Rochester International Airport in Rochester, MN

5 PM Central being 3 PM Pacific. Really? Just 2.5 hours after the start of Green Bay? Must be a short ride. Or more likely by then POTUS will be running about a half hour late ;-)

Fayetteville rally postponed to Monday due to weather!

  3. pinroot says:

@EM – Yeah, the weather here in NC today wasn’t really conducive to holding a rally. Remnants of Zeta passed through with rain and high winds, but I don’t think there was much damage, other than scattered power outages.

In other NC news, I believe this state is lost, at least for this election. The state’s election commission (headed by a Democrat) is allowing absentee ballots to be collected up to nine days after the election, with no witness signature. Hmmm… I wonder why? /sarc It went to the Supremes, who, in a 5-3 decision, allowed it to stand. Roberts and Kavanaugh were those in favor of allowing it. I’m starting to think that the whole Kavanaugh debacle was a reverse psychology thing to make the right want him, since the left so obviously was against him. And now, he sides with Roberts (and I don’t think this is the first time he has done so). So, it looks like NC will be going blue, at least for this election. I’m still looking at Trump for the win though.

@pinroot Much as I hate mail in voting, I think the justices got it right. Has to be postmarked by Election Day.

  5. pinroot says:

@llanfar No, what they basically ruled (from my understanding of things, which is far from perfect) is that the state had decided to do it that way, so the state could do it that way. So NC decided to give absentee ballots a nine day extension. Now, for example, if Trump takes NC, they have nine days to find enough absentee ballots to throw it to Biden. Same for governor, lt. governor, senate races, and local elections. Worst case, NC goes hard blue, following in the footsteps of Virginia. I don’t know what the best case is, other than a Trump win nationally. But we’ll probably still be stuck with a Dem gov, a Dem lt gov, that $hite eating grin wearing Cal Cunningham will be our senator (I heard he recently got kicked out of the family home, lol) and so on and so on. Once you know how many votes someone need to win, and you have nine days to find them, well, do the math.

Do note that a “postmark” can be from a postage machine where YOU set the date. I’ve used one in my business life before.

ANYONE who uses a postage meter can make any postmark date they like.

But you ought not set it wrong because “that’s wrong”…

  19. pinroot says:

@llanfar re: what’s the difference between absentee and mail-in ballots?

Honestly I have no idea. I was wondering if there was a difference or is it two different names for the same thing.

  20. philjourdan says:

NC is not lost. The fix is to overwhelm the popular vote on election day. Which will happen, so that any cheating on the Absentee cannot make up the difference. That is what is happening in NC.

As to the difference – mail in ballots are unsolicited ballots sent to every registered voter (alive or dead), so it rife for fraud since the voter rolls are not accurate and a lot will end up in the dead letter office. Absentee ballots are on a request basis so only sent to those who requested it, and the number is well known. So if 1m Absentee ballots were requested and 2m returned, you got fraud.

  21. H.R. says:

Here ya go, pinroot & llanfar. Here’s the difference this election and it’s a first. There are 3 types, and I only know a bit about two of them.

Absentee ballots have been around forever. If you think you can’t make it to the polls on Election Day, you request a ballot from the Board of Elections, fill it out, and then mail it in or drop it off at some designated spot. Those ballots are usually counted the evening of, or the day after Election Day and have to be received on or before the Election date. Those are also called solicited ballots because you had to request one. You also had to be a registered voter, and some States require a witness signature that it was really you that filled out the ballot. It’s not perfect, but it has always been fairly secure.

This time, the Dems, using the “muh Covid” excuse that people would die if they showed up to vote, mailed out unsolicited ballots. No one requested those ballots and they were mailed out to everyone whether they were registered voters or not. This is a big opportunity for voter fraud.

They got mailing lists from who knows where and mailed out ballots to each Name/Address combination. Many people in rentals received 2 or 3 or 6 or 10 ballots to their address. Here’s where the cheating comes in.

A Presidential Election year has the highest voter turnout, but it’s generally only 60% or 70% of registered voters, not even close to the number of people eligible voters by age. I don’t know what the percentages are, so I’ll make a WAG, but let’s say of 100,000 eligible voters by age, only 50% or so bother to register to vote. And then of those 50% who are registered, the turnout is 60%. to 70%. So typically, the vote is decided by maybe 30,000 to 40,000 people out of a population of 100,000 people of voting age.

So after the polls close the cheating can begin with the unsolicited ballots. These are the States that are going to count ballots received for some number of days after the election. The mailing list of ballots sent out is checked against mail-in ballots received and those who voted in person. Any Name/Address that hasn’t been stricken as a recorded vote can then be used to for a “received late” vote. That’s a huge number of ballots, given the percentages in the preceding paragraph.

The cheaters fill out a ballot with the name of someone who hasn’t voted and send it in after the election. The cheaters know from Election Day who actually won. If their candidate didn’t win, they know by how many votes the candidate lost, so they know how many of those ballots that were sent out but not returned need to be filled out for their candidate to assure a win. Don’t forget they have plenty of ballots to work with, no doubt more than the number of people that legitimately registered and voted.
    .
    .
    .
And the 3rd type of mail-in voting that I don’t know much about, occurs in the Vote By Mail States. There are 3 or 4 States, I believe, that have done this for a while. They mail out ballots to all registered voters and I think the ballots must be received by Election Day.

I know a couple of the denizens here live in Vote By Mails States, so they can give a more accurate picture of how it works and perhaps how any cheating is done. I suppose ballots are ‘lost’ and or ‘found’ to get the desired outcome.
    .
    .
    .
One last thing… in 2016, and I’m sure many other years, there were several voting precincts that recorded more votes than they had registered voters. And IIRC, there was a voting district that recorded more votes than their whole population. Talk about stuffing the ballot box!
