Friends Of Australia Friday Lamb Loin Chops & “Handpicked” 2013 Cabernet

It’s once again an Australia Time Friday! It’s FRIDAY!!!!

The Tucker

I did the Lamb Loin Chops in the cast iron skillet and into a 375 F oven for about 20 minutes. Very nice.

English peas, and a large Butter Lettuce bed with chips of ham, provolone and olives over it. Home make Oil & Vinegar dressing

The Wine

The wine is the same Handpicked Cabernet from before. A 2017 vintage. I really need to get some more of that! Nice, smooth, very drinkable, with depth to it too.

I did a Sashimi dinner. Pleasant to the palate, but not lamb

On USA Friday (I.e. today) we had sushi too! About 1/3 of it sashimi. We do it every Friday…..

Not about eating but a recipe of sorts from Oz

“Australians: still the Global Patsy grand achievers of climate change with 46% cuts, but we’re getting better at selling that”

AH, had I known about Sushi and especially Sashimi as a child when every Friday was meatless! But now that I am older and cannot partake of most foods (I can, but choose not to in order to avoid diabetes), Fish Fridays are back!

But I eat them at lunch since my wife (also a mackerel snapper) hates fish! But then she grew up in Cali where seafood is a 4 letter word!
