FTX, Ukraine, Democrats & Money Laundry – $32 B Gone

I’ve never particularly liked “Crypto-Currency”. Just too much about it that is intangible and the only “real value” in it is that someone else might buy it from you.

Well it looks like the Bigger Fool started to not show up, causing some concern, and a minor run on one Crypto-Exchange (kind of like a crypto-bank but without any insurance, regulation, or actual value in its investments…) “blew up” with only 10% of the “assets on deposit” backed with liquid assets. Much of the rest “invested” in other crypto-tokens, flaky companies, and potential fraudulent “management”. To the tune of $32 Billion.

The part that interests me the most, though, is that it may bring peace in Europe / Asia.

Seems that the kid running this show was the 2nd biggest donor to Democrats. $40+ Million. He bought the mid-terms for them. He also has gone from $Billionaire to Broke overnight. Someone who said they were “partnering” with FTX was Ukraine. (All those $Billions being handed out like chocolates had to go somewhere…)

So Democrats voted to send $Billions to Ukraine who sent an unknown but large chunk to FTX who sent buckets to Democrats.

Now that’s all blown up.

And suddenly Ukraine is talking about peace, the CIA is off talking to Russia, and the Democrats are saying they can’t finance Ukraine forever. Perhaps because their money laundry just blew up?

Now what I’m wondering is just this: Are they looking for an “out” since their laundry is on fire, or did they light the laundry on fire to close down the “redistribution” scam before any records could be looked at by law enforcement or The Public?

Watters has a good take on it;

Looks like about $32 Billion of investor money down the tubes (and perhaps up in the $40+ Billion range), and $2 Billion just evaporated without a trace (so in someone’s pocket somewhere)…

Suddenly Ukraine is looking for more money (and not getting it) while the USA & EU are saying they don’t have it available. Sure looks like the money pot has gone missing…

I wonder how much of it was used to buy the “proper” vote count in places like Arizona and Pennsylvania?

Sigh. I’ve become so jaded about the corruption and fraud in Washington DC that it doesn’t even bother me much anymore to read a story like this one …

But hey, maybe it will end the War in Ukraine due to lack of funds…

    Hi EM from Australia.
I find your posts refreshing. Personally, I feel distressed about Ukraine/Russia situation. Thinking of Australian kids running into machine guns in two world wars, and possibly a third one makes me sick. However, there seems to be a universal feeling among the people I mix with that Putin is an evil monster and it is right for us to aid Ukraine. (this even from Christian church going people) Oz has sent used armored troop carriers and obsolete howitzers to the Ukes. I wrote a personal letter to our local MP, pleading that we should stay out of it. It is so far away, and not affecting our interests. Surprisingly, a personal reply came back, addressing the points in my letter but concluding that we had to aid the Ukes. I met the MP later at a social function, thanked him for the reply. I then asked, “am I the only person who feels this way?”. Got a fairly mealy-mouthed reply. “there are lots of opinions….”.
Now I find that there are dozens of Aussie “trainers” working with the Ukes. Supposedly in bases in the UK. This is the typical camel’s nose under the tent prior to full-scale warfare. I feel even more upset.

The Demowits are far ahead of the Republicans on elections. Yes, there is cheating, but some of what they are doing is legal. They pass mass mail-out ballot laws and also provide a long period to use them to vote. Then unions, like the teachers union, canvass neighborhoods where there are unlikely voters. They persuade these voters to fill out the ballot. They may, or may not depending on the state in question, take them to the mail box or voting location. They focus these efforts on swing states. As despicable as they are, this is genius.

What I don’t know is if the Republicans have an untapped reservoir of unlikely voters that favor them. That’s one thing. Then, there would have to be a small army of people to fan out and tap these voters, persuade them to vote. I don’t if Republicans have enough savvy to pull something like this off.

If this tactic is possible for Republicans, they will have to employ some heavy duty analytics to find these unlikely voters, then go out and harvest them. I don’t know if the party has the smarts to do this.

On a side note, this has nothing to do with Trump, one way or the other. Trump haters are just leveraging this to bash Trump some more.

I am only surprised that it has taken so long for an implosion like this.
For that matter, I don’t really understand this:
Picasso’s ‘Guitar on a Table’ sells for $37.1 million
Copy and print a copy: https://images.wsj.net/im-664599/social

Regarding the Russian/Ukraine mess: I think the U. S. should encourage and fast-track (vetted) Russians under age 40 to come to the States. The war (including many deaths of young men), the population pyramid there (ageing and declining), and the unfavorable view of the country by many, will mean the Russian Federation, if it survives, will be a nasty place for at least 50 years.

  8. DonM says:

‘they’ also call (in the form of a poll) and ask questions that tell them who you are likely voting or leaning towards. I asked the girl how they got my name/phone number & she, after having to check with an apparent supervisor, said ‘from the voter registration records’ (which don’t include phone numbers).

When I respond to the questions, saying I don’t know at all yet, I get hassled about voting in the days leading up to the deadline.

When I respond leaning R (for reasonable), I don’t get robocalls or any other calls encouraging me to vote.

Two years later when I respond to the questions, leaning dem, I get hassled about voting in the days leading up to the deadline.

I believe that, in my state, they are able to see who has/hasn’t sent in their ballot. If you are on the Dem likely voter list (see paragraph 1), they contact you to further pester you to vote. In other states they may go to your house. Since I am in a pretty solid dem state they aren’t likely to waste their resources showing up at my house.

    The mainstream media ignores it.

The weird looking girl friends company. Possibly up to 10 billion is unaccounted for.

FDX filed their own chapter 11. So right now they still control what’s left. Normally a corporation of this size files perfectly filled out Bankruptcy paperwork. This filing reportedly has all kinds of errors. Speculation- done on purpose to prolong the process.
So far there are reports that that the Feds have done zilch except to say they want to talk to Bankman. Nobody appears to know where he is.

  16. E.M.Smith says:

    @Richard Hill & John Hultquist:

I, too, have had a certain morose feeling out of all this. Just trying to get people to THINK instead of EMOTE at me about it. What is our interest? Why are we to get into the middle of a “Family Fight” between two cousins (nearly brothers) in the Slavic World? (Russian and Ukrainian are largely mutually intelligible and both Russia and Ukraine grew out of Kieven Rus (based in Kiev…) from the same Churches.

I run into lots of folks doing the “Hate On Russia” and “Hate on Putin” thing, and when I ask “Why?” all they can say is “Invading is wrong”. Nothing about 9 years of shelling of the Donbass by Ukraine. Nothing about broken promises to not expand NATO into Ukraine. Nothing but hate on Putin & Russia.

I think it is another one of those irregular verb things:

I liberate, you occupy, he invades…

I’m pretty sure I’ve driven off P.G. by asking him to “take off the hate goggles” as he hasn’t commented since. Just asking to see things dispassionately is seen as an insult.

It’s really amazing how much people love to hate, cling to hate, wish to be blinded by hate. When all it does is cloud the ability to see all the points of view and all of the issues. (Most strong emotions do that. Love. Hate. Envy. Dispair. All restrict the ability to see from all sides and see other options. To think most clearly, learn to be entirely dispassionate even about things where you have a strong personal stake.)

Some folks seem to take it as a challenge to their POV if you just ask them to look, without the passion & drama, at various bits of information. Others, like the Democrats, set out to deliberately inflame as much passion as possible (to great effect and great damage to the ability of their followers to think clearly…)

It seems a great deal of our Politics, Media, Culture and even Religions are designed around the effort to build strong emotions and then send their wind up toy in the “desired” direction.

    Oh Well.

So we’ve had at least 5 figures of deaths so far; perhaps in the 100,000 range of 6 figures. Our “Leaders” are dead set on W.W.III to take down Russia & China, wanting to expand the deaths to more continents and up to 7+ Billion in a nuclear conflagration (or so it seems from their words and deeds…). 9 figures. The anger, hate, greed, and death cult seems to be “winning” the last few years.

What stake in the New World Order, or the Old World Order, does a 20-something young man have, so strong that he is to die for it?

I understand that a movement among the young of China is developing to “let it all rot” by just doing the minimum to avoid abuse, while just living day to day for the smaller personal pleasures of life. I can relate to that. A kind of “Going Galt”.

I can see ZERO reason at all for anyone from the Anglo Sphere to be involved anywhere in Eastern Europe. Or Asia for that matter. Our own governments are being abusive, exploitative, and frankly downright evil. What can they do to improve on others when they are so broken?

So I’ve chosen to just do what I can. Left California (it is too far rotted to recover – I tried for 40 years or so…) for Florida. I’ve set up my home life to be as close to self sufficient as I can (while still having the spouse happy – she is not one for a rural life), and I’m far enough ( I think…) from probable nuclear targets to be survivable. Going Galt myself.

I look at the crap that was this last election (6 days for manufacturing more ballots in Arizona and the election certified by the “winner”? Really?) and realize it isn’t going to change. Nobody really wants to fix The System. Too many pockets being filled from it, too much power being gathered in. It will have to rot and decay and collapse in on itself before anyone will replace it.

To that extent, I find myself agreeing with the things I hear Putin saying. At the St. Petersburg Economic Forum, his speech was heavy on BRICS ~”Going their own way” and how The West was going to collapse from their avarice. How the “sanctions” were harming them more than Russia (and they are). He’s given up on any “reason” from The West or ability to trust The West. Just building the new future for when the old west is collapsed. (I have no idea if he will succeed, just reporting his POV on things, not endorsing it. Just agreeing that The West is looking somewhat like a rotting corpse zombie in the making that doesn’t know it yet…)

Oh Well… At this point my highest aspiration is that it takes longer to fully collapse than I have years left… Sad, that. But I’m pretty sure it’s going to be a horse race. The present rate of decay has been an exponential increase in the last few years. We’ve not even dented it with this election, and the UN / EU / WEF Cleptosphere is pushing the gas pedal for all it’s worth. So “Hunker Down” may be the only choice left in another year… But I hope I’m wrong.

Yeah, I’m hoping for pitchforks, torches, and “The French Haircut” as appropriate… but not willing to advocate for it.

  17. E.M.Smith says:

I’ll look into it and see if I can fix it.

Well, a quick check shows it’s the same RSS Feed code that I’ve had in postings for several years. I’ve not changed anything.

My “best guess” is that WordPress has “improved something” and that particular way of doing the feed is now broken. I’ll need to figure out just what the deal is and see if it is something I can fix / work around. As I’m not an RSS Feed kind of guy, that can take a while (unless there’s a forum somewhere with a ‘do this’ fix / recipe that I get pointed at…)

    So there’s that…

    UPDATE 2:

Tried converting it to the “new block editor” and saving a test example (on the theory that the “new” editor might be doing something different with the back room links and such). No Joy.

It just looks like instead of executing the link text it is displaying it. Not what it is supposed to do. I’ll try again tomorrow.

  18. E.M.Smith says:

I was able to test the “share” button with “print” and ’email’ options and it worked for me. I’m not on any Faceplant or similar so could not test them.

The RSS Feed is still wonky, but I think that’s likely a WordPress change, so their fix. Maybe…

Jet fighters don’t pose the threat they once did. Of course, counter-measures will be developed. The beat goes on …

“Russian high-altitude fighter CAPs with Su-35S and more recently with Mig-31BM interceptors are continuing to shoot down significant numbers of Ukrainian ground attack aircraft near the frontlines from distances that render them all but immune to return fire.”

That’s reportedly made possible by using large, very long-range hypersonic air-to-air missiles: the R-37M (NATO codename AA-13 Axehead-B) accelerates up to six times the speed of sound (few fighters go much faster than Mach 2) and can engage slower targets up to a staggering 250 miles away. Each measures 4 meters long and weighs 1,320 pounds

The report states: “The VKS [Russian aerospace force] has been firing up to six R-37Ms per day during October, and the extremely high speed of the weapon, coupled with very long effective range and a seeker designed for engaging low-altitude targets, makes it particularly difficult to evade.”

@ another Ian, Good link on SBF connections. It is hard to believe such a connected company , deeply involved in the Great Reset, simply ripped off the deep state. It is possible, I just find it unlikely. And if they protect him, pass the whole thing off on crazy kids running wild, or blame his mysterious China partner, then you know many missing billions went to the deep state. I guess many possibilities are possible. China and the US appear to be in a war over who is to really rule.
Was the Chinese business partner working for the CCP?
Did the likely blackmail power of China over the Biden, allow China to make off with billions?
Did various WEF operatives receive the funds.
I consider “Kooky kids running Klepto in crypto,” to be the least likely scenario, and the one most promoted by the MSM

Points out that FTX was running a “donate to Ukraine” operation too….

    18 Nov, 2022 11:34
    World News
Is there a link between ‘Aid to Ukraine,’ the US Democratic Party and the suspicious collapse of the FTX Crypto exchange?

We don’t know exactly how much money was raised for Kiev, and how much of it reached its intended destination

Breaking news throughout the first half of November has been dominated by coverage of the sudden collapse of FTX, one of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges.

The crash has shaken the crypto market, lost institutional investors billions – and individual customers millions – led to official investigations of FTX in several countries, and made some question whether the Bitcoin sphere might crash and burn outright, and perhaps cause wider problems for the financial system.

Some take the view that FTX was a fraud all along, ever since its launch in April 2019. If that’s the case, it has grave implications for the US Democratic Party and Ukrainian government, as the company’s corrupt activity may have been used to fund both, openly and secretly.

    Where’s the money, Zelensky?

On March 14, FTX launched a new online portal for cryptocurrency donations, Aid for Ukraine, in partnership with Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation. Through this, crypto traders, both large and small, could donate bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which FTX would convert into cash for the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense to spend on weapons and other war-related expenses.

Very rapidly, the fund claimed to have amassed “over” $60 million in donations. By April 14, it was reported that just over $45.15 million of that sum had been splurged on digital rifle scopes, thermal imagers, monoculars, rations, armor, helmets, military clothing, tactical backpacks, fuel, communication devices, laptops, drones, medical supplies, and a “worldwide anti-war media campaign.”
Official investigations into FTX, and its founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, have only just begun. However, it seems clear already that he secretly and illegally moved billions stored in the FTX exchange to its sister company Alameda Research, a quantitative trading firm that he also runs.

The gaping black hole Bankman-Fried’s sleight-of-hand created meant that, when customers sought to withdraw their money from the exchange, FTX didn’t have the funds to keep up with demand. It seems he was assisted in this underhand ploy by a “back-door” specially created for him in the company’s accounting, which meant sums could be moved into and out of the exchange off the books, and without auditors or FTX employees noticing.

Much of the money taken out of FTX by Bankman-Fried has disappeared completely. The US Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission are particularly looking at whether these stolen client deposits were used to prop up Alameda in any way, which was reportedly struggling financially.

There is, as yet, no sign though that these authorities are probing an obvious lead – Aid for Ukraine. Was money moved from FTX to Alameda, then channeled to Kiev to be spent on Western – mainly US – weapons, and indeed other activities that the government and its backers in Washington, London, and elsewhere in Europe and North America would prefer to be kept hidden?

Conversely, money raised beyond the initial $60 million total could’ve been funneled out of Aid for Ukraine by Bankman-Fried to enrich himself, or secretly spent for very different purposes – such as funding the US Democratic Party’s election campaigns.

I wonder just how many politicians globally are suddenly finding out their bribe payment has stopped….

I also note that the UN is complaining that “donations” to their Climate Slush Fund are not reaching the astronomical sums that the “Paris Agreement” had countries signed up to provide.

Frankly, I think we need an amendment to the Constitution that just says something like:

“No money can be provided to any other country nor can any quasi-non-governmental or non-governmental organization be funded.”

You can buy goods and services from companies, but that’s it.

  30. The True Nolan says:

@E.M.: “No money can be provided to any other country nor can any quasi-non-governmental or non-governmental organization be funded.”

You may already be familiar with this old essay. Quite simply, it is a violation of the Constitution to give money to ANYONE, ANY WHERE, outside the specific and very limited functions authorized under the Constitution. Sigh… I REALLY wish the US still operated under the old Constitution, but any honest and objective look will show that the Constitution has been a dead letter for a VERY long time. No one obeys it, not even the military.

  31. David A says:

Nothing feels right about this FTX story. These “Kids” were highly educated, highly connected…
To the Clintons, to Blackrock, to Janet Yellen, to the SEC, to the pandemic promotion, to Epstein, to pedophile logos, to a scam study that dismissed Ivermectin, and another for HCQ, That one secured the EUA, which the democrats just extended post the election, etc…

One aspect of crypto is the meaning of the word, ” a person having a secret allegiance to a political creed, especially communism.”
Everything, from backdoor access to company funds, to immense non, or missing accounting, to “hacked” or stolen funds post bankruptcy, everything was structured to hide the movement of funds, the entire organization of both companies, and the assorted conglomerates. The bankruptcy paperwork was done very sloppy, and that is just a delay tactic. It is, IMV, very likely that billions that are missing, will remain missing, and are in the hands of the GEBs.

Whether SBF will become a sacrificial goat, or has the wherewithal to blackmail the master blackmailer, or will simply vanish, who knows. Yet he was working hand in hand with those who likely developed Covid, those who were developing the “vaccines”, those who broke the global economy, those who gave the taliban billions of dollars of military gear, those who broke the US energy production, those who are spending 100 billion dollars of poorly tracked funds to Ukraine, and his co-founder is a Chinese mystery man billionaire. You don’t scam these people, and these ‘Kids” know that. The ultimate prize tool is CBDC. Besides potential billions, this will facilitate that.

Here is the most detailed account I have seen, with some personal knowledge of the actors…

  32. rhoda klapp says:

    And that link states:

Now, let us summarize: Under a pandemic-induced fog of war, the military-banking complex may be enabling an elite pedophile class of blackmail agents at least partially organized around MIT to establish a Global Digital Central Bank to enslave the human race, cull populations, and subject them to genetic information control.

Which I find a strain to believe. A strain but not impossible.

  33. The True Nolan says:

Here is a short but informative article from Lew Rockwell’s site. It deals with the intersection of economics and COVID.

    Concluding excerpt below:

“COVID phenomenon cannot be understood without understanding the un-televised 2019-2020 unprecedented financial collapse threatening the entire global financial system. The COVID fraud timing became necessary as the world markets were faced with an emergency debt crisis that popped up in formerly mostly liquid markets: Repo markets, money markets and FX markets.

The entire House of Cards was falling for six months and could not be stopped so COVID hysteria was manufactured to cover up what amounts today to $11 trillion of FED bailout in cash, stock boost via POMO and guarantees of value of collateral used in structured derivatives. The end game is that the central banks (Fed) will buy all the toxic, worthless debt from the hedge funds and banks, including the 1.5 quad trillion of derivatives, and then transfer the debt to the treasury as sovereign debt. Then print money to infinity to service the fictitious debt to sink the dollar via hyperinflation and then foreclose on the US and everyone else holding debt in worthless dollars.

That’s the coup. There will be global hyperinflation to vaporize the assets of the masses and the states- as soon as the ruling class mops up the last properties. What this means is the ruling class have limitless claims on everything in the world. Simply put, the seasonal coronavirus was rebranded as Covid 19 on the back of a redefinition of what a ‘pandemic’ was by the WHO at the bequest of its financiers.

Covid 19 is the final heist to strip all value out of the world in an effort by psychotic billionaires to consolidate what they believe they’re owed. ”

    End excerpt.

I would only add that in the spring of 2020 I started a folder of COVID related bookmarks. The folder title? “COVID Fiscal Crisis” It seemed to me to already be clear that the pandemic was being used to suck up the last value from the petrodollar before crashing the system.

  34. David A says:

Hi Rhoda, an interesting summary, and yet not what I read. It is best to quote specific lines I think, to then have a better reference to your referral.

That said, the article is yes, clearly speculative in areas, (how can it not be as the fog in this organization is clearly intended and enhanced by those that should be very aggressively investigating this) yet all the speculation is represented as either likely or possible by laid out facts. These “kids” were very educated, connected to the globalists by birth and extensive association, complete hypocrites, and very weird. Also the idea of Epstein renning a blackmail ring to entrap government leaders in sexual deviance has a compelling amount of evidence.

Do you find the idea of a CBDC as a tool to enslave people outlandish?
Are you aware of the extensive talk of population reduction in academia for decades, and specifically by many like Mr Gates.
Yes, the monetary motivation of all things Covid is clear, yet so is the societal tyranny, and the increasing all cause mortality, and ever more signs of birth reduction are predictable and predicted consequences of choices made by these folk that know better.

This business was clearly sanctioned by the PTB.

  35. rhoda klapp says:

David, the summary is pasted from the article. I don’t know what to make of it. A series of coincidences or mere confluence of interests? A vast conspiracy, not even in secret but right out there in the open? I am sure that there is a group of people who feel so entitled by position or wealth that they assume naturally that they can get away with anything and have a right to decide for the masses. They don’t seem to get it that their privilege is the result of the efforts of others and they are no smarter than the rest of us. Just how it all links together is a mystery to me but I’m guessing that some, only some of the apparent links are coincidental.

The biggest problem is the dog that didn’t bark in the night, the media who know what is going on and stay silent.

  36. David A says:

Thanks Rhoda, I did not see any quotes on it. Yes, for many necessary reasons it is conjecture, and it is shocking how much the GEBs are in the open about their plans. I would only add that the tyrannical human, devoid of any true humility or spirituality, is capable of and even likely to commit incredible atrocities. It should be expected…

35,236,000 Murdered: The Communist Chinese Ant Hill

20,946,000 Murdered: The Nazi Genocide State

2,035,000 Murdered: The Khmer Rouge Hell State

1,670,000 Murdered: The Vietnamese War State

    1,585,000 Murdered: Poland’s Ethnic Cleansing

    1,072,000 Murdered: Tito’s Slaughterhouse

    1,663,000 Murdered? Orwellian North Korea

There are endless other examples, and I would add to the above, both the disease, Covid, (likely developed jointly by the US government and China) and the supposed cure, the horrible vaccines, paid for by the Government. ( It may well end up being the worst democide ever)

  37. David A says:

Oh, yes, they even promote their crimes, and have them headline a ?
    $2,500 a plate dinner

    From a comment…,

Yellen: I will print the money if you give me an excuse

Zelensky: I will give you an excuse if you make sure nobody gets wise

Zuckerberg: I’ll make sure nobody gets wise if you make sure I get paid clean money

SBF: I’ll not only launder all the money you can muster but I’ll give you twice as much back

  38. The True Nolan says:

Minor collateral damage in comparison to some other genocides, but I always remember the half million children under the age of six (per United Nations reports) who died of disease after Clinton (in violation of international law) had the US Air Force bomb Iraqi water and sewage treatment plants and then embargoed medicine. Of course plenty of innocent men and women died, but the children were hardest hit. Well, it was worth it… or so said Madeleine Albright. This interview was replayed all over the Middle East and in every Islamic nation.
