Won’t Be On EwTube – The Jab

It’s like being in a quiet library for a long time, then stepping outside and finding a riot going on in a thunderstorm. A bit jarring and unexpected.

So I was exploring some of the “Alternatives to EwTube” and finding some “old friends” and creators I’d watched before (but not followed, and being mediocre at best on remembering names, not always sure how to find them again). Then on Brighteon ran into these two postings, one up in the recommended top list, the other a “similar” link in the side panel of the newest one. Both having to do with The Jab.

Not particularly new (one is a year old), but it seems that this platform has “a thing” about banned videos:

This one is from a year ago, and is the Stew Peters Show interviewing Dr. Joseph Sansone, Ph.D. about a Florida county demanding that the Jab be banned and inventory seized. Probably worth a follow-up to find out if anything came of it.

I vaguely remember the story as it was quickly memory holed in The Snooze. I also remember seeing a couple of Stew Peters shows before he just faded away on the EwTube community train to oblivion. But didn’t remember his name to find him again. A bit overly intense for some of the actual meat in topics, but still fun to watch sometimes. Kind of like a less loud Alex Jones in that regard.

Here’s the title / description of this one:

BAN the JAB, NOW! FL County Tells DeSantis Local GOP Wants Shots SEIZED, Says JABS Are BIOWEAPONS!

https://www.brighteon.com/e4fd647b-f8cb-4003-96e8-aed530e1d382

Yeah, a bit Over The Top. But the guy being interviewed is a “Bioweapons” guy, and he says it meets the definition.

Then there’s this one, also on Brighteon, about “Turbo Cancers”. From just a few hours ago.

Japan To Ban mRNA As Turbo Cancers Among Vaxxed Skyrocket

Channel looks to be named “The People’s Voice” and the presenter has a sort of upscale Australian Accent, with a kind of “Valley Girl” intonation (strange in a guy…); but I have no idea who they are.

Has a relatively long interview with the top M.D. in Japan (for Cancer) in Japanese, but with fairly big translation text on the bottom. At about 7 minutes in, swaps over to Dr. Pete McCullough who lists the mechanism by which The Jab can induces cancers; after an embedded commercial.

Not surprisingly, a quick search on “Japan ban mRNA” mostly turns up “fact checks” saying “No, Japan has NOT banned mRNA” – shifting the tense from “future” to “past”… and dodging the question of Japanese findings and intent.

At 12 minutes swaps to a Dr. Doloris Cahill, Ph.D. who it is claimed, claims anyone with even one Jab has at most 3 to 5 years more lifespan. Looks like Doloris has the Bio chops to do R&D and such, but also got a Cancel Culture whack when she started to speak out. Applied to retire, then 5 months later got fired from University College Dublin instead. Well, if the hearings, and even an arrest warrant for “misinformation” are any evidence, seems the lady has been speaking “truth to power” in all the wrong places ;-)

Maybe a whacko, maybe she is right, but voices ought to be heard and evaluated, not banned and hunted. I DO hope she is completely wrong. (Spousal twin and her daughter, and my kids and grandkids are all jabbed up near as I can tell). So what I want desperately for her to be a panic driven Karen afraid of her fantasies. But I’d like to hear her explanations (seeing as it is her field of expertise) and not just walk blindly into that good night.

Then transitions at about 13 minutes to another Dr. specialist in Virology (who’s name I didn’t catch, Bosche?) with an impressive German accent confirming her assertions. His bio supposedly includes being an insider at the Bill & Melinda Gates foundation…
“We will have to build a completely new world”… What is it about Germans and dreams of Global Domination, Global impact, and rebuilding the world? Whatever…

So is it all “Crazy Talk”? Or Cassandra? Or what? Unlike EwTube, I think it is up to you to decide.

If nothing else, it’s a nice alternative view of things that gets you thinking. Thinking is good, sheep walking into the future is not.

Do I believe there is a “Turbo Cancer” epidemic about to end the world as we know it? That Japan is in the lead in turning on Big Pharma? That there is a big Grand Conspiracy to silence the voices of truth (given the flood of “no it isn’t happening” from the “fact checkers”)? No. But frankly, given the huge flood of “NOOO!!!” from the “fact check” machine run by the Globalists & Big Pharma: that’s pretty good evidence that they are afraid of some truth buried under the claims (be they Chicken Little or not).

Trying to find some information to confirm or deny the various claims, check bios, and look at the underlying technical details mostly results in a Tsunami of “fact checker” talking dirt about the subject. That, alone, is highly suspicious and IMHO tends to confirm the assertions (since otherwise they would not be spending the money on it…). You fight most strongly against the highest risks to your money, success, and power.

Each of the people interviewed have strong credentials, and often were held in high regard in their field until the Cancel Mob were sent after them. Another sign of validity, IMHO. (You see, once a power structure has damaged their reputation by too many lies, assaults and frauds, then their claims become an inverse indicator…)

Then there are a few bits of actual Information to be found if you dig deep enough. Like this one:

Increased Age-adjusted Cancer Mortality after the 3rd mRNA-Lipid Nanoparticle Vaccine Dose during the COVID-19 Pandemic in Japan
Gibo, Miki; Kojima, Seiji; Fujisawa, Akinori; Kikuchi, Takayuki; Fukushima, Masanori
Editor:
Hirai, Yukari

Abstract
Purpose:
Excess deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic have become an issue in Japan, which has a rapidly aging population, and we conducted this study to evaluate how age-adjusted mortality rates for individual cancers shifted during the pandemic.
[…]
Results:
Age-adjusted mortality rates decreased from the pre-pandemic period to the pandemic period for stomach, liver, lung, gallbladder/biliary tract, colon, and esophageal cancers, which account for a large proportion of cancer deaths in Japan, but this decreasing trend slowed from 2021 to 2022. Age-adjusted mortality rates for breast, pancreatic, lip/oral/pharyngeal cancers and leukemia increased significantly in 2022 after much of the Japanese population had received the third mRNA-LNP vaccine dose, compared to 2020, the first year of the pandemic when no vaccinations were administered. There were also marginally significant increases for ovarian and uterine cancers between 2020 and 2022.

Data interpretations:
As previously described in a molecular biological study, the increased mortality rates for these cancers might be caused by cell proliferation mediated by binding of spike protein to estrogen receptors, and the spike protein might originate from mRNA-LNP vaccination rather than COVID-19 infection itself. The significance of this possibility warrants further studies.

So it looks like there is some “there there” to look at. I won’t fault someone at the leading edge of investigations getting things a bit wrong on degree as long as they have the basic ideas right. So IF someone is hollering that “we’re going to have cancer in 90%+ of the people!!!” and it turns out to “only” be in 50% of the people, well, IMHO we still ought to hear them out, investigate it, and find out it is going to kill off half of us… In the context of a roughly 20% (per YEAR) excess all cause mortality in highly vexxinated populations, there’s clearly something wrong going on.

But the wiki assures us “turbo Cancer” is an anti-vaxxer conspiracy theory.

Development of High-Grade Sarcoma After Second Dose of Moderna Vaccine
Monitoring Editor: Alexander Muacevic and John R Adler
Edward Bae,corresponding author Suhwoo Bae, Michael Vaysblat, Mohammed Abdelwahed, Kumar Sarkar, and Stewart Bae

Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease characterized by predominantly respiratory symptoms, which can progress to respiratory failure. Due to the novelty of the vaccines, it is difficult to assess if there are any associated long-term side effects. Here, we present a case of an elderly female who received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine and developed a high-grade sarcoma at the site of the injection. A 73-year-old female with a past medical history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and renal angiomyolipoma status post resection in 2019 presented with worsening right upper arm swelling for the past two weeks. She noticed the swelling two to four days after receiving her second dose of the Moderna vaccine within 1 cm from the prior injection site. Physical examination was remarkable for a 6 cm, circular, mobile, soft mass present in the right upper arm. MRI with and without contrast revealed a 5.2 cm soft tissue mass overlying the triceps region with irregular features concerning for malignancy. Fine needle aspiration revealed pathologic characteristics indicative of high-grade sarcoma. The patient ultimately had resection of the mass four months after the initial visit and was diagnosed as having grade 3, stage IIIA undifferentiated, pleomorphic high-grade sarcoma. Herein, we present a case demonstrating the development of high-grade sarcoma at the injection site in an elderly female patient within days of receiving the second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, it is unclear whether there is a true association between the vaccines and malignancy or inflammatory response exacerbating underlying malignancy. This case highlights the necessity to investigate and be aware of such rare, adverse complications that may be associated with the novel COVID-19 vaccinations to guide physicians in their differential diagnosis.

But I’m sure there’s nothing to see… move along, move along…

A lot has been said already about covid and how much of a fraud and catastrophe it was, and I understand most people don t have an hour and a half to spare on – yet – another covid video,

I myself was reluctant to watch it when a friend gave me the link a couple days ago, and to be honest , in the first 5 or 10 min of the video I came close to stopping the video but decided to give it a chance,

but the more I listened to that doctor the more interesting it became,

I watched the whole thing and I am glad I did.

it was made only 10 days ago it is not an old ” re heated ” one

    Very interesting

It is with Dr Scott Atlas.

  6. Canadian Friend says:

    Gail Comb,

” … for the United States, is a population reduction of 68.5% by 2025. …”

    Is that a typo ?

because there is only 7 months left before 2025 and a 68% reduction would mean over 200 Million American would die

Hard to believe this would happen

  8. E.M.Smith says:

    @C.F.:

Don’t think it is a typo, just that reality was harder and slower to game than they had planned. 30% of us dodged the jab. That, alone, screwed them up. Then Ivermectin managed to fix some folks who were jabbed and had “Long Covid”. And more.

Plan meets reality and goes a bit wrong. The only question is “how far wrong”.

  9. Canadian Friend says:

Yes but killing two thirds of the population ?

The civil war killed 2 % of Americans

WWII I’m not sure but I think it was less than 8 %

Killing almost 70% of the population is hard for me to believe…

maybe the elite-leaders-nut-cases in charge wish it would happen, but would they do something that radical ?

That would be 38 times more than were exterminated in the Holocaust

that would be about 4 times more than the total deaths on the entire planet during WWII

Maybe I am naive ( if I knew how I would put the shrugging emoticon here )

    ;-)

I admit that I get many of my sources from there. In fact, Dr. Sabine Hazan is one of the ones I discovered there. I’ve been following her and collecting her journal articles (both published and pre-published) for a while. Her findings that ingredients of the clot shots destroy the bifobacteria strains from our microbiome is really interesting to me. I suspected that something like that was going on, and she has actual research that indicates that is happening.

I also like to see what Dr. Tom Cowan says about things. He always seems to have a different take on the issues of the day. The last time I tried to watch one of his webinars live after hours while working late, my Ethernet connection died for one hour.

  12. E.M.Smith says:

    @C.F.:

From the Deagle Report here: https://web.archive.org/web/20200629112402/http://www.deagel.com/country/forecast.aspx

By the way, no pandemic or nuclear war is included in the forecast.

The key element to understand the process that the USA will enter in the upcoming decade is migration. In the past, specially in the 20th century, the key factor that allowed the USA to rise to its colossus status was immigration with the benefits of a demographic expansion supporting the credit expansion and the brain drain from the rest of the world benefiting the States. The collapse of the Western financial system will wipe out the standard of living of its population while ending ponzi schemes such as the stock exchange and the pension funds. The population will be hit so badly by a full array of bubbles and ponzi schemes that the migration engine will start to work in reverse accelerating itself due to ripple effects thus leading to the demise of the States. This unseen situation for the States will develop itself in a cascade pattern with unprecedented and devastating effects for the economy. Jobs offshoring will surely end with many American Corporations relocating overseas thus becoming foreign Corporations!!!! We see a significant part of the American population migrating to Latin America and Asia while migration to Europe – suffering a similar illness – won’t be relevant. Nevertheless the death toll will be horrible. Take into account that the Soviet Union’s population was poorer than the Americans nowadays or even then. The ex-Soviets suffered during the following struggle in the 1990s with a significant death toll and the loss of national pride. Might we say “Twice the pride, double the fall”? Nope. The American standard of living is one of the highest, far more than double of the Soviets while having added a services economy that will be gone along with the financial system. When pensioners see their retirement disappear in front of their eyes and there are no servicing jobs you can imagine what is going to happen next. At least younger people can migrate. Never in human history were so many elders among the population. In past centuries people were lucky to get to their 30s or 40s. The American downfall is set to be far worse than the Soviet Union’s one. A confluence of crisis with a devastating result.

Their basic thesis is the rise of Russia / China and economic collapse of the USA / EU with huge migration of the young to Latin America / Asia and collapse of the US Financial and Industrial functions. Resulting in a lot of old people starving to death and killing themselves.

Plausible but not probable IMHO. The rise of BRICS+ and fall of The West is highly likely (and fully in progress as we speak). But that kind of thing goes very very slowly, not overnight. Most of the “Boomers” are on their way out the door already (me among them). 70s to 90s years old. Given another decade for the rot to set in more fully in the economy, only the trailing edge of them will still be around ( I’ll be in my early ’80s IF I make it…)

Add in that the present Gen Z and Gen X are not feeling the need to emigrate to Latin America / Asia and few of them have the necessary language skills / income profile, I don’t see that happening. Millennials? They are having a hard enough time getting out of the house and looking for a job where they speak the language…

So my take on it is that the Deagle Report is a bit out of touch. Archive says first image was May 2019 while the text says data is from 2017. So it was likely written about 2018. About 1/2 decade ago (or up to 6 years).

To me, it looks like dozens of similar “projections” based on “current trends” run to extremes. Ignoring the Logistics Curve pattern (S curve) of pretty much all growing biological systems where something limits the exponentials and rolls them toward flat.

Absent a Very Extreme motivator, few people leave their homeland and emigrate to somewhere foreign, especially so if they do not speak the language. This can be starvation / freezing (as in the Little Ice Age and the Migration Era Pessimum), or war (as in W.W.I & II). The Potato Famine for my Dad’s side of the family, W.W.II for my Mum. So absent W.W. III or the GEBs destroying agriculture, I don’t see it happening.

Then, given the more recent (than when the Deagle Report was written) FLOOD of North Africans, South & Central Americans and more into the EU / USA and the huge Muslim flood into Europe: The “depopulation” looks to be on hold… IMHO, before we worry about depopulation in the USA & EU we need to worry about Sharia Law domination… AND if Sharia comes to dominate (well underway in some UK cities & Michigan) then the demographic decline will end in a Muslim Population Boom. (Kinda required by the Koran. Hmmm… multiple wives, kept at home having babies, some of them just teens… Anyone know where a Mosque is nearby? /snark;)

So while my first take on this was “swing and a miss” my take now is more of “Out of date paranoia of the usual ‘Running Out!!!’ kind gone wild.” And not in touch with the last decade of information and data.

  14. para59r says:

Canadian Friend. The link she provides on the 2020 Deagel Report is more than extensive along with the conversation that follows on the link. E.M. Smith is right, they’ve been getting pushed off their time line but new factors keep getting pushed to the front that still make depop viable should any number of the plans that are in store for us see fruition.

  15. jim2 says:

Even with our unprecedented debt and over-regulation, the US economy is far outpacing the rest of the world.

  16. E.M.Smith says:

    @Jim2:

Yes. That’s why my major position is in an S&P 500 index fund.

It has surprised me how strong the S&P has been. Glad to see it since I bet on it, but still a bit surprised.

    My take on The Globe:

Russia is very promising, but off the table on sanctions and geopolitical / war risks.

China is maturing (growth down to 6%) and corrupt. Between Communists being essentially untrustable, and the Chinese culture having a lot of Caveat Emptor in it; not a place I’m willing to “risk it”.

In between and around them are Mongolia, the “Icky-Stans”, Korea, South East Asia (Viet Nam, Thailand, etc.). Largely dependent on China, Russia or the USA (S. Korea). Not feeling the love… Viet Nam is also communist, but a fair number of US Companies moving out of China moved there. BUT, that doesn’t mean there’s a US Ticker to buy. So some kind of Emerging Market Fund is the only way I’d approach it.

Exceptions are Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. Each big enough to be a stand alone center. Japan has stagnation and demographic issues. Stability but not growth. Malaysia & Indonesia. Both Muslim nations with growth. Indonesia has some oil. Probably decent places to invest, but with caution. Don’t know enough about them. The rest of Oceania (exclusive of Australia / New Zealand) is too small to worry about. I’ll come back to Australia / New Zealand after the Latin Americas.

Wrapping around to India: LOTS of people. Lots of growth. Reasonably good governance. I put one unit of my trade in an India Fund. Don’t know if it can match the S&P 500, but want some non-USA diversification. Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc. scattered around it are “uninteresting”…

Which gets us over to Saudi Arabia and related. Oil. Not much beyond that. Qatar is trying to be more, but mostly now in land, a national airline. Not particularly “investable” and I’m not interested in being in a perpetual War Zone. Frankly, the whole Middle East is kind of a no-go for me. Had some cell phone stocks (for the dividends) in Turkie & Israel. Didn’t work out too well. IF you can’t make any money on cell phone service, give it up (IMHO). Egypt has most of the world’s Arab population, but can’t help the periodic revolt / revolution and loves to make a mess of things from time to time.

The rest of North Africa and Central are not very stable either, and are mostly good for Globalist Extraction Companies to steal their natural wealth. But watch this space. Maybe the revolutionaries who have taken over can start a wealth building cycle. Similarly down the ex-British side (but add tourists looking at open air zoological gardens ;-) Which puts you down at Rhodesia & South Africa. Due to “revolutionary fervor” places in decline and to be avoided. Perhaps a little bit of diversified Gold Miner stocks, maybe, just a little… Best approach, IMHO, is Western diversified metals and miners companies. But not big positions.

Europe can’t get out of its own way. Demographically it is dying. Will likely be fully Islamic in a generation (so about 2060, latest). Energy starved (thanks USA Nordstream bombing and Gang Green…). Regulated to death and subject to the whims of the W.E.F. (World Evil Forum), various Globalist Enterprises (I.e. banks & Davos crowd along with some sclerotic Royals and Dynasties). Not a lot of interest there, and especially not when they are talking up a land war in Russia. Turkey is in the wings, wanting in, but knows it never will be allowed. Having the usual Muslim Nation instabilities and intrigues. Potential, then never quite seems to arrive.

Over the pond to Canada, and we find Justin Castro, er, Trudoh lusting after a Communist Dictatorship. Just Say No! and using banks to rob people (HELL NO…) so not putting any money there. Australia close behind in the Tyrant Wanna Be race. Soon to be a Satrap to China and Islam (if it isn’t already). Don’t get me wrong, Australia has a LOT of good businesses. Wheat, coal, tourism, wine, and on and on. But for how long? The government is a bit nuts, fully in thrall to Gang Green, and largely just a supplier to China. New Zealand is a bit small for much at all. Absolutely loved the place when I was there (late ’70s). But basically an Australia Wanna Be with anxiety issues. (Green, Maori, Globalist DIE agenda, etc.)

That largely leaves the non-USA Americas to look at. Varies a LOT by nation. But Mexico is essentially a USA Low Rent District. IF the USA falters, Mexico curls up in a ball. Brazil has a political oscillator; presently on the Leftist side with Lula. Known for corruption, welfare reforms and “workers party” affiliations. Did manage to the the economy make money though. Bolsenaro is out of office and known for being On Side with the USA, making money for Big Business, and having leftist funded riots… How to chose between those two… I’ve made decent money out of Brazilian companies over the years, but the potential to suddenly blow up in a political storm requires tight control of your nerves (or a good prescription pad… )

Most of the rest of South & Central America don’t have much investment potential (other than land deals – subject to strange citizen only restrictions and potential political collapse / politics) and all of them are political crap shoots. The exception being Argentina IFF you can get it in the right part of the “Overspend, collapse the currency, bankruptcy, restart, overspend” cycle…

So yeah, for the “small investor”, the USA is the best damn whore in the whole whore house.

Everywhere else, it is best to keep a close eye on the political cycles, be ready to bolt at the drop of a “currency control”, and do only small lots for modest periods of time. Expect to search a long time to find individual investable tickers, and remember that political corruption is rampant (now to include the USA). Fun to do though. The adrenaline rush can be real exciting some times…

So that’s my biased and bigoted view of the global investment world.

Worth all you paid for it ;-)

Argentina can go two major ways. If it can survive the remake into a free market economy, it could be a great investment. But right now it’s suffering from inflation and recession. If the “people” revolt, it’ll be just further in the dumper.

Argentines woke up Thursday to the country’s second national transport strike since President Javier Milei took office in December, ratcheting up pressure on his government as it faces its biggest test yet in congress.

Trains, subways and several bus lines won’t operate for 24 hours, bringing the Buenos Aires metro area to a standstill. About 93,000 passengers with flights will be affected as well, local TV station TN reported. No president in recent Argentine history has faced two strikes of such scale so early into a term — a sign of the public pushback against Milei, who is enjoying a wave of praise abroad from the likes of Elon Musk and Stanley Druckenmiller.

The stakes are higher this time compared to the first strike in January as Milei has changed his legislative strategy to incorporate compromises with moderate political blocs instead of his initial approach of pushing reforms via decree, going around the political class he often lambastes.

Interesting. This Odysee channel has the same guy (“valley girl” speech pattern mentioned above) doing similar semi-paranoid topics.

    https://odysee.com/@bambaferko:7

but it is a different channel. The intro page says it “is the only channel” where (whoever the channel owner is) now uploads new stuff. Is it the presenter, or someone else? Donno…

While being a bit OTT (over the top) on some things, I did learn about siRNA from one of them (Small Interfering RNA) and how it can be used to silence particular genes (down to the one codon difference, so if you have one good copy and one mutated broken copy, it can just silence the broken one). So the drug companies are all excited about the potential… And I’m wondering just how the MIC (Military Industrial Complex) would feel about a “mist” that could shut down specific genes, perhaps even down to the specific race, tribe, or individual…) So paranoia, or the future? Hard to say…

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Small_interfering_RNA

Looks like about a 24 year old discovery, so after I learned my upper division genetics at University… There’s several “new” types of RNA, it would seem, and they do different things. Turn some stuff on, turn some things off. Not sure I like the idea of folks flipping a bunch of relatively newly understood switches in the genes…

Then here’s a nice bit of paranoia to share:

    https://odysee.com/@bambaferko:7/Gates-Insider-Admits-Elite-Planning-to-Euthanize-BILLIONS-via-Bird-Flu-Vaccine:2

Seems to think that Bird Flu Pandemic is all orchestrated to both damage the food supply (cull lots of birds and beef…) AND make a lot of people sick and dying. Not sure that’s the way it will go down, but clearly the panic over bird flu is way overdone and the “OMG! It was found in COWS!!!” too. (Since flu has been known pretty much forever to move between various mammals, birds and more…) So who’s pushing the panic over it getting into cows, and why? Hmmm…

FWIW, most flu originated in Asia due to a particular way they do some kinds of farming. Pigs, in pens, are positioned over ponds. Pig Poo drops into the pond and fertilizes algae growth. Fish & shrimp (and whatever) eat the plants. Ducks on the pond eat bugs, small fish etc from the pond. Farmer harvests the ducks, duck eggs, pigs, fish. The problem? Makes a very short cycle for Flu to hop between ducks, pigs, and nearby “other farm animals” like horses, cows or people; and mutate along the way.

Then any wild duck that stops at the pond can pick it up, and carry it a few thousand miles as it migrates and “shares” with other birds.

This has been going on for hundreds to thousands of years. Nothing new in it.

FWIW, the “Spanish Flu” probably originated from a horse flu. There was a horse flu epidemic just before the “Spanish Flu” (H5N1 IIRC). The reason it was so deadly to the young and healthy (and not the old) is likely Original Antigenic Sin. The old had experienced an H5N1 as their first flu, so made the right antibodies. The very young children had never had a flu, so made the right (new) antibodies. The “20 to 30 somethings” had first experienced a different flu, so made antibodies to it, not to H5N1, and so had a poor immune response. Nothing “magic” about the particular HxNx, just the order of exposure. (Posted on this some time ago so links in that somewhere…)

In that context, all the “panic” about “bird flu” sure looks suspiciously like an artificial thing for … what exactly?…

Anyway, this channel is either a bit paranoiac or a bit ahead of the curve. There being no real difference between “misinformation / paranoia” and “new insights / new concerns”. ALL “new discoveries” start out as “crazy talk” to the Old Guard Authorities (“Science progresses one funeral at a time”… is a quote for a reason)

So there you go. Anyone wanting a bit of an adrenaline challenge and some stuff to sort into trash and treasure, there’s your link. 8-)

Most folks have a short attention span and an even shorter memory. How many of us still remember the last big Avian Flu scare in UK and Europe? We were told (1) It’s caused by wild bird migration and (2) we’re all going to die.

Well, we know (2) was complete and utter nonsense, because we didn’t all die did we?

    (1) is the more interesting.

Like EM and several regular contributors here – having the benefit of a wide network of friends and colleagues from many different professions and occupations, and a curiosity about the origins of things – we learn (and remember) many things that don’t surface in the MSM.

One of mine was someone passionate about Ornithology. That included netting and tagging birds, to study bird populations and migration patterns. They were outraged by the blame on wild bird migration. Why? Because Avian Flu was spreading east-to-west, but nearly all bird migration routes run north-south. Meaning orthogonal vectors that rarely crossed. The story made no sense.

Another was a veterinary data specialist. They had a long-term concern about the volume of antibiotics being used in UK farming, which amounted to about 90% of all antibiotics sold in the UK. Massive quantities being used routinely (like business-as-normal) in high-intensity farming locations. Especially breeder and rearing farms, where new-born and young animals were kept in high-density arrangments. Good for agri-businesss, not so good for animal welfare. And among the biggest of all the big users (on an industrial scale) were poultry breeders in the east of England. Where they imported a continual stream of truck-loads of days-old chicks from Eastern Europe. Where the chicks were being hatched by even more intensive (but cheaper) farming, but with significant health problems.

I expect you’ve guessed by now that these tiny days-old chicks were the biggest carriers of Avian Flu.

But once they were (in)securely living in the east of England, with local wild birds attracted to the feed, Avian Flu would gradually spread outwards, but with the poultry breeders as the epicentres. And then the wild birds would get the blame.
