NIH Revises Treatment Guidelines for Ivermectin for the Treatment of COVID-19
Ivermectin is Now a Therapeutic Option for Doctors & PrescribersNEW YORK, N.Y. — JANUARY 15, 2021
One week after Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory—founding members of the Front Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC)— along with Dr. Andrew Hill, researcher and consultant to the World Health Organization (WHO), presented their data before the NIH Treatment Guidelines Panel, the NIH has upgraded their recommendation on ivermectin, making it an option for use in COVID-19.
This new designation upgraded the status of ivermectin from “against” to “neither for nor against”, which is the same recommendation given to monoclonal antibodies and convalescent plasma, both widely used across the nation.
By no longer recommending against ivermectin use, doctors should feel more open in prescribing ivermectin as another therapeutic option for the treatment of COVID-19. This may clear its path towards FDA emergency use approval.“ Ivermectin is one of the world’s safest, cheapest and most widely available drugs,” noted Dr. Kory, President of the FLCCC Alliance. “The studies we presented to the NIH revealed high levels of statistical significance showing large magnitude benefit in transmission rates, need for hospitalization, and death. What’s more, the totality of trials data supporting ivermectin is without precedent.”
In its ivermectin recommendations update, the NIH also indicated they will continue to review additional trials as they are released. “We are encouraged that the NIH has moved off of its August 27 recommendation against the use of ivermectin for COVID-19,” continued Kory. “That recommendation was made just as the numerous compelling studies for ivermectin were starting to roll in. New studies are still coming in, and as they are received and reviewed, it is our hope that the NIH’s recommendation for the use of ivermectin will be the strongest recommendation for its use as possible.”
Current meta-analyses of studies of ivermectin from around the world show a compelling trend towards the drug’s potent benefits against SARS-CoV-2. Ivermectin, developed in 1975, led to the eradication of a “pandemic” of parasitic diseases across multiple continents and earned the 2015 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for its discoverers, Dr. William Campbell and Dr. Ōmura Satoshi.
In related news, the manuscript written by the FLCCC has been accepted for publication, following a rigorous peer review, in Frontiers in Pharmacology. The full paper will be published within the next couple of weeks, however the preview can be found here.

In the UK you only hear about Vaccines, no enthusiasm for drugs other than Dexamethasone which the Oxford Recovery recommended (the same study that tested HCQ at 6 times the recommended maximum dose).
But we have had 111,000 deaths and we still have 30,000 in hospital, Vaccines wouldn’t have helped those that died and won’t help those in hospital or those that catch it before vaccination.

One must understand the need of Dr Fauci and Company to force the rapid adoption of his new technology for viral immunity. To get Emergency wavers there must be no other viable treatment, so it was important that no other acceptable treatments be available. Fauci’s ownership of Big Pharma stock required that there be no treatments, no cures, until the vaccine was ready. Therefore, no HCQ, no IVM, no advice about Vitamin D and sunshine. I suspect that ivermectin will move to the Approved category by the NIH by the end of the year, in order to:
* Treat the unvaccinated who arrive at hospitals with symptoms—and also to the vaccinated who have nevertheless developed symptoms. (This might be from 3% to 15% of the vaccinated, depending on the vaccine.) (The unvaccinated might include children, if a decision had been made not to vaccinate them.)
* Proactively provide pills to the unvaccinated who refuse to be vaccinated, for them to use should symptoms developed. (In France half the population is refusing vaccinations. In the U.S. the ultimate percentage might be 20%.)
* Proactively provide pills to persons who had an allergic reaction to their first flu shot.
* Encourage doctors in undeveloped countries that lack an adequate health-care infrastructure—one that could conduct mass vaccinations—to administer pills to patients who show up with symptoms.
Six months to a year after Approving ivermectin, it should be fairly clear if it’s effective and safe. If it is, the national medical bureaucracies and others that initially closed the gates to its use will be in an embarrassing position. (So, foreseeing that, maybe those gatekeepers will double down and NOT approve it!)

None of the benefits of Ivermectin, HCQ, Zinc, fresh air and Sunshine, and vitamin D were unknown eight or nine months ago. The anti viral benefits of Zinc, vitamin D, and sunshine have long been known, as with HCQ. President Trump suggested all four of those very early. Not certain about the history of Ivermectin, but I think that was also well known.
In all sincerity I can think of nothing else to call the one world statist government actions and non-actions anything other then democide and economic sabatoge.

Do you mean common cold the syndrome or common cold the specific disease. If you mean the specific disease, that one is caused by rhinoviruses and rhinoviruses only. Rhinoviruses are offshoots of picornaviruses and picornaviruses are offshoots of enteroviruses. Different virus family. That said, the true common cold is very mild and basically doesn’t need treatment, unless you are on immunosuppressants; which is why it is among the most successful viral parasites.
Now, common cold the syndrome has some dozen or so different virus families involved and hundreds to thousands of strains, only one of the families is some corona viruses. So, yes, if we could get a very cheap general anti-viral plus get people to address vitamin and mineral deficiencies that only some of us have; that would be a good thing.

Interesting. I normally catch every virus that makes the rounds, after a week or so it is gone. Late last December I caught something that was moderate but just would not go away. In-spite of vitamins and all, it took into June to be rid of it.
Don’t know what it was, not tested, but now into February and no other flu or colds to report. Don’t know if that is lack of exposure or being maxed out on vitamins.
I’m glad we got warnings here before China, WHO, the CDC and Fauci, covered everything up with lies and bad information….pg

It would be pleasant to see some rational reason to disagree with you, but there is none. Certainly in the first couple of months the information available to the average person was still too sketchy to make a good decision on the nature of this “pandemic”. Now? It looks clear to me and I see the same picture you do.
Over the years, there have been many variations on the cartoon which shows a bunch of lemmings hurling themselves off a cliff (I know, fake…) with one lone lemming standing up yelling, “STOP! IT’S A MISTAKE!” Somehow, the humor of that cartoon seems a bit strained now.
