Bongino Exposes The Dimocrat Dirt In Rescue Bill

Bongino goes through the Pork and Progressive Agenda that Pelosi, A.O.C want to stuff into the economic rescue bill.

Forgive post office debt. Mandate Air Lines must do carbon offsets. Federal audits of selected elections. $35 Million for the Kennedy Center. Race, ethnicity, gender audits of corporate boards… and more.

    Must have been one hell of a backlash!

    vilest people on Earth these Democrats.

    Fox news had it as well, But none of the other MSM did – they are adverse to reporting the truth.

    ! don’t believe this. Pelosi caves! what the heck is going on here? There has got to be a catch, somebody has their thumb on Nancy’s scale.
    Pelosi and Biden are getting senile, maybe someone in power pointed out that the Senate Bill was already far better then the alternative of gridlock. The Democrats already got a $ trillion more then the Republicans had in mind to protect the citizens from the effects of this emergency.,,pg

  5. Nancy & John Hultquist says:

    For the past 2 years, I was thinking my view of the Democratic Elites could go no lower.
    Wrong again.

    Democrats gonna democrat. Pelosi’s new gambit? Delay the House vote on the Bill. Chiefio is right: The stupid, it burns. Cheers –

    My guess is Pelosi will stick a couple of minor amendments in, it passes then, AND THEN in “reconciliation” with the Senate verdion, anything at all can be shoved into it by that committee. So she’s wangling who does the reconciliation. ..

  8. philjourdan says:

    @pg – You actually got it. She is losing it. Whether senility or dementia. She has made major mistakes. This was the latest.

    Sorry EM – even the reconciliation must be voted on, and it is clear (see Collins) the republicans are tired of playing the patsies. I do not think Pelousi was thinking that. She really was delusional about not letting a cruses goto waste. She was thinking this was just another “crises”. But the media has successfully turned this into a crises for every American. Not just some contrived financial setback, but a life and death one.

    You reap what you sow. IN this case the Democrats had one strategy, but forgot to coordinate with the fake news media. So they were undercut by their own allies.

    @PhilJourdan:

    Maybe I have the wrong name for it. Looking up “reconciliation” it doesn’t describe what I was talking about. Several years back, there was some very unrelated provisions inserted into law. They were not voted on by either side. Both Senate and House had passed very similar laws, and in that case they go to a committee that adjusts out the differences.

    I thought that was called reconcilliation, buf it could be some other similar word. However, nothing in the rules limits what changes can be made to make the two agree.

    Whatever that process is called, that is the thing I was talking about. (Assuming it still works that way).

    Unfortunately, I could not make it past the adverts. Same with Ben Shapiro, who started this.

    @Ossqss:

    Adverts? Are you talking about the Bongino video? I just fast forward over his ads.

  13. E.M.Smith says:

    Looks like it is cslled “conference”, but it then does go back for a “take it or leave it” final vote, if any congress critters bother to read it or find the new inserted stuff.

    https://www.house.gov/the-house-explained/the-legislative-process

    Finally, a conference committee made of House and Senate members works out any differences between the House and Senate versions of the bill. The resulting bill returns to the House and Senate for final approval

    Saw a video cut of Pelisi saying it might need to “go to conference” after the house passes their own version… and that reminded me of the propper name. In conference, anything can be removed, added, or changed.
