    @ Scott Adams Blog mention that 10 teachers’ unions and the DSA want to ban new charter schools and private school choice in the US.

    Here;s Thomas Sowell lnterview on Uncommon Knowledge re his latest book, ‘Charter Schools and Their Enemies,’ in which he argues that charter schools have closed the racial gap in education getting results superior to results in public schools .

    @beththeserf – Of course. If they cannot compete via being better then the competition, then they will eliminate the competition. Also, they see the teachers there as scabs because they are not part of the NEA, and are not “contributing” to the Union fund (& therefore, the Democrat party).

    Trump wants to allow Private School Vouchers for the dead head Public schools not willing to go back to work. WHile I agree with him, it will not help in the short term since the capacity does not exist. But yes in the long term! Give poor parents a voucher to a private school! the NEA will die. And with it bad education.

    I hope he starts it.
