GBNews Looks The Winner

I’d vaguely heard of GBNews in a comment somewhere.

A new “conservative” news channel in the UK, shooting up to #1 in the ratings simply by showing actual news.

Here’s their reaction to a Loony Lefty Marxist group attempting to boycott them and have a sponsor boycott. It’s very well done:

So that’s had me add their channel to my “news” menu. I’ll also be looking for them on “Other Providers” as EewTube is unreliable and a political management sewer. But for now, this is where I’ve found them:

    they say they will be steaming on yew tube in about a week’s time (+/- tech issues)
    Of course; that presupposes they aren’t banned as hate mongers…
    They have a channel already; just no streaming
    I’ve watched/listened to more news in the last week and a day than I have for the last year – and I just love the thought of all the explode heads.

    Incidentally; they had Rebecca Long-Bailey left wing (left of Corbyn) MP and something or other in the Shadow Cabinet; and it was the 1st time I have ever heard say more than 5 consecutive words without slagging off normal conservative type people; she did a whole interview in fact & (totally unusually) made sense.

    So definitely an improvement over the existing Biased Broadcasting Channels !

    Yes, GB News is a very welcome development. I can also recommend UK Column ( https://www.ukcolumn.org/ ) as a decent newspaper-style site for what’s going on over here. Don’t expect: Lots of pap stories every day; Do expect: Decent reportage like we used to take for granted.
    Lockdown Sceptics ( https://lockdownsceptics.org/ ) is also OK as a more ‘single-issue’ site, while the former ‘UKIP Daily’, now ‘Independence Daily’ ( https://independencedaily.co.uk/ ), has real people passing comment every day on the state of our nation, and routinely shows up the complete disconnect between British government and British people. Sadly, we haven’t really got anything on the scale of Infowars or similar, probably because we only have a fraction of the US’s population. David Icke can be entertaining, though, in his own way.

    @EM: Thanks for mentioning this. I scrolled back to their very first articles, and this is quite refreshing. I plan to take in an hour a day… working my way toward the present… to get in the flow of their style and scope of their reach. So far, I am impressed.
