Trump Campaign Stop in Melbourne (FL that is…)

Well, we’ve finally done it. We’ve reached the point of perpetual Presidential Campaigning.

The cleverness of it is impressive, though. Blocks NGOs from attacking him without compliance with the whole PAC thing. Lets him hold support rallies for the President as he governs and lets him get loads of “earned media” while bypassing the news cycle.
Just love it.

Remember to can watch it live, and without talking heads telling you what to think, at RightSide Media:

Just watched the entirety on CNN (waiting for a head to explode).
Thought he did well, then they brought in their panel of talking heads to explain to me what I just watched, so now I’m back to the ponies at Santa Anita.
    Can’t win for losing :)

  2. Gail Combs says:

    Just watched it.

Trump’s only weapon against the DC Swamp is his voters so this is necessary move on his part to remind the GOPe (stablishment) that we are TRUMP’s not their’s and WE put them in office and WE can remove them just as Diamond and Silk said.

It also sends a message to the Obummer/Soros Shadow Government that they can not have it all their way. Trump has a REAL grass roots support and we are NOT asleep.

I just filled out an RNC poll mainly about media.
I hope my answers for ‘other – fill in the blank’ scares them.

There were so many folks on cell phones that the RSBN feed went to badly pixelated a lot. In a few hours they expect to have their good recording up replacing the crummy feed one.

I ended up doing a rotation of Fox, CNN, MSNBC before the POTUS talked, and got talking heads crapping on stage, or irrelevant other stories… so went back to the pixellated pre-Trump speakers on RSBN. Later, when Fox cut to Melania and Trump talking, I had their video up, then back to RSBN at the end for the crowd interviews.

I was VERY dissapointed in the Fox pre-show, even with the sound off so I could listen to the RSBN covering the warm up speakers. Fox was putting up quotes from folk basically of the form that attacks on the press are the evidence for, or the path to, totalitarian government…

HEY FOX: Media doesn’t want to be insulted? How about reporting Straight News instead of Making A Story? When it is 24 x 7 on all media that the White House is in utter CHAOS because one guy gets walked out, it is just obvious Stooopid. I’ve managed a RIF (mass firing) of 4000 people. One is nothing. This White House has gotten more done in 30 days than any other in living memory, and more than most get done in 4 years. Grow up, drop the spin cycle, and just tell us the who, what, where, & when of the news. When you get into your opinion of why and how, it just looks silly when I’ve got direct raw video and youtubes from the masses showing the polite lie of media coverage… Your feelings hurt because you got called out on sloppy news coverage, or because your buddies at CNN got caught red handed being partisan? The POTUS talking honestly to the public and spotting trap questions, and calling reporters on it, causes your 3 martini lunch to give you heartburn? Guess what: we don’t want to hear about it. You try to “mould my opinion”, I’m outta there. So play straight or expect a public POTUS spanking and I’ll enjoy watching it.

I’d rant at CNN & MSNBC but they are hopelessly bent & broken so not worth the breath.

In Australia, the National taxpayer-funded broadcaster, ABC, (Anything But Conservative) and almost every other biased MSM outlet seem to have adopted a policy that every day, there must be something bad reported about Trump, or if it is good, have the usual suspect talking heads spin or trivialise it into something bad. Sickening! None are so bitter as a media pack that got it all wrong and are now being scorned and ignored!

  5. Alexander K says:

    Hillbilly,
Same here in NZ. Evening news on TV is ok (just) for parish-pump stuff, but anything to do with Trump has become ridiculously slanted leftward. I was told years ago by a friend who had worked in the Khyber Pass area for some years that we were (are) being lied to. The situation has NOT

Hi Chief. I saw on all of my ALT news outlets about blow up press conference hahaha. I think I’ve seen this movie before. It’s called Batman does CNN hahaha.

I saw all about the Obama Shadow government residence. I think that is so they can have informal meetings in a secure location. If they pass on orders from the Rogue CIA to the Soros mob soldiers they can do it in person and not have any written records or telephone conversations. Actually a very good idea.

It’s becoming more clear this is a war tween the Pentagon and CIA. Fortunately Trump has the Pentagon covering his back. The CIA went rogue when William Wild Bill Casey took over from 1981- 87. Even if you somehow blew up the building in Virginia they have alternate headquarters in Kenya and other places around the globe. They also have a lot of income from global Drug operations. They really do not need any taxpayer money haha.

Speaking of Mental Health I don’t see how Trump can stand the barrage of verbal attacks from media for a long time. So he’s going to have to shut them up somehow or possibly have mental breakdown. That may be their plan anyway. I hope the plan backfires and he really loses his temper and just send a hit squad in with machine gun haha. CNN would be at the top of my list to set an example with. Then maybe the others would shut the fuk up haha.

Here’s my view from 30,000 feet. The big picture. Have to ask yourself why are the Dim-o-craps and intelligence community pushing so hard to get Trump out now. They know something we don’t haha. They need three years to fix everything so they will survive. Maybe a giant space station so they can survive in Comfort haha. They cannot wait until the next election cycle in 2020. What could this Global disaster be? I’m glad you asked haha. There are about seven things that could do the job. That is left as an exercise for the student haha.

lemme know what youse guys tink, heh.

  9. E.M.Smith says:

    @Pearce:

    I think it would be a good idea NOT to advocate for personal injury of folks. Things like suggesting hit squads or blowing things up can get folks arrested in some jurisdictions, even if adorned with a “hahaha” or sarc;

I think it would be better to advocate for legal remedies, public calling out, and not buying their product (I.e. just don’t watch CNN).

Per Trump’s mental health: He is a tough bird who can keep centered just by having a late snack with his military and secret service escorts, visiting any of our military bases, serving Christmas dinner to troops, or having one of these events. Heck, just inspecting the job site at The Wall will have the construction crew cheering.

    Besides, he likes the fight…

    @All;

Per the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control here :-) The BEEB, CBC and other State Run News: Well, we knew it was a propaganda outlet before, now we are just getting irrefutable proof… Besides, unlike 50+ years ago when they were the only choice, now it is a big world of sources… Heck, I used to sit up late at night (when propagation was better) just to get the Short Wave Radio news from other parts of the world… and it was mostly just BBC, Radio Moscow, Radio Havana, and USA overseas radio.. plus a few way-powerful religious stations, one from Quito. There were others, but weak and rare with the gear I had and being 8000 miles of nothing but water out one side. Occasioally I’d get Australia, and that was a treat.

Trump gets a lot of support from the people who matter, The Deplorables.

If he wants a dose of love all he has to do is go read The Conservative Tree House

Actually his staff DOES read the CTH from what we can tell. After all it is Keln @ the CTH that came up with the “Les Deplorables” poster that Trump used as a backdrop and that sent the Hillder-bots nutz.

Congratulations Keln ! Brilliant Les DeplorablesFor those who might not be aware, the following “Les Deplorables” … that Keln did it, and that Keln and Conservative Treehouse get the credit.

Celebrity worship & shallow platitude ingesting is the leftists domain. The brainwashed masses eat up what their handlers feed them

My only complaint about Trump is just that he is always the bulldog when pushed. Just once, I’d like to a Stupid News question shot at him and have him bust out laughing at them, then say “Really? That’s what you are going with? Ok…” with chuckels and guffaws scattered about.

Nothing burns quite so much as public laughter at your expense…

    @Gail:

Yup… that is exactly what the Left Assault Squads don’t understand. Trump grew up on construction jobs. He gets it what life is like for the guy feeding his family with a framing hammer or going home with 5 pounds of cement in his clothes AND he values them and their work. They know it, and he knows it.

We are OK with rough talk and blunt “get outa my face or I’ll flatten your head with this hammer” truth. We don’t give a damn about high minded principles when the implementation is going to kill people, and we’ve needed to fix intellectual screwups to make things work way too often to just bow down to a desk jockey with Daddy Bought Papers.

I’d be happy to buy Trump a Big Mac and talk about the world, because I know he would appreciate it, and listen, then enjoy arguing some point. Can’t say that about 99+% of the Ph.D’s and lawyers I’ve known. Too full of them selves and worried about fitting the “norms” of the left. Afraid, in a way. Unwilling to speak unvarnished truth. In typical leftist style, a document aimed at dividing government and forcing an agenda rejected by the electorate by electing a President and dumping over 1000 hard left/progressive Democrats at all levels of government is titled “Indivisible”.

First when I tried to down load it, unlike conservative targeted items, It was immediately flagged as “trustworthy” by my browser/antivirus.

Secondly right at the start of the document they admit that the Tea Party was an organic grass roots conservative movement. This might be a useful quote for online debates.

The Tea Party started as an organic movement built on small local groups of dedicated conservatives.
Yes, they received some support/coordination from above, but fundamentally all the hubbub was caused by a relatively small number of conservatives working together.

Did any one really hear what McCain said about Pres. Trump in Germany. He basically called him Hitler in front of the Germans and called on the name of Ewald-Heinrich von Kleist to fight Trump. [without actually naming Trump – aka plausable deniability] So McCain is basically calling for the assassination of our President in Germany. Obviously it is being hushed up back in the states.

Thus showing how “opposition research” can provide all sorts of useful information ;-)

I don’t have to agree with a news source to let them dig around for me … Something often forgotten, even by TLAs and Police Agencies. (i.e. the person looking at a kiddie porn site might just well be the local Morals Enforcer aghast at what is there, gathering evidence to be used to file an indictment… Why I’m against “possession” laws especially as they relate to data / information… Having BEEN the “cop on the beat” in an industrial sense gathering evidence per an employee or two… and wondering if that meant I was exposed to “charges” of “possession”… and why looking at a person’s “browsing history” doesn’t say much about “intent”…)

But yeah, please dear Lord, let it be true… For decades now the Left has been finding ways to parasitize governments and NGOs and all sorts of organizations. It really really is time to remove the feeding tube and spray on parasite repellent… I’m very tired of having my tax dollars used against me.

In short: “If it is politicized, kill it.” as applied to organizations feeding at the public trough.

  44. Gail Combs says:

Remember all the crap about Trump being mentally unstable the Yellow Stream Media keeps bringing up?

Well ZeroHedge dropped the other shoe.

Democrats Suggest Invoking The 25th Amendment Unless Trump “Gets A Grip”

… The Atlantic’s David Frum joked after the election, “Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the Constitution. Article 4. We’re all going to be talking a lot more about it in the months ahead.”

So, what’s Article 4 to the 25th Amendment? In the abstract, the amendment itself is about presidential succession, and includes language about the power of the office when a president is incapacitated. But Digby recently highlighted the specific text of growing relevance:

“Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.”

    What does that mean exactly?

Well, it means Congress isn’t the only institution that can remove a president from office between elections. Under the 25th Amendment, a sitting vice president and a majority of the executive branch’s cabinet could, on their own, agree to transfer power out of the hands of a sitting president. At that point, those officials would notify Congress, and the vice president would assume the office as the acting president.

And what if the challenged president wasn’t on board with the plan to remove him/her from the office? According to a recent explainer, “If the president wants to dispute this move, he can, but then it would be up to Congress to settle the matter with a vote. A two-thirds majority in both houses would be necessary to keep the vice president in charge….

In other words, for the first time, the concept of a “soft palace coup” has been officially brought up on public media; we expect such speculation will only get louder.

So the Globalists are threatening to remove Trump if he doesn’t get go along with their plans to dismantle the USA.

  45. pearce m. schaudies says:

@Gail. Hmmm. Remember the old ‘Patriot Act’? It is a double edged sword haha. Trump could have a posse of US Marshals Roundup McCain Graham oh bummer Clapper and his deputy and send them to gitmo hotel to think about their seditious Acts.

  46. Gail Combs says:

E.M. As far as I am concerned ALL grants should be cut PERIOD.

Where in the Constitution does it say we should fund NON-GOVERNMENT entities with tax dollars? No WHERE!

Very early in our country’s history there was a hardship case (widow) and instead of dealing with it via tax money (because that was not allowed by the Constitution) the Congress Critters passed the hat and raised the money from their OWN pockets and not from the People’s.

That is how it should be dealt with.

IF I did not have ~80% of my wages gobbled up by taxes, I could donate what I wished to whom I wished. Instead someone else — At the Point of A Gun — extracts the ‘donation’ and gives it to whom THEY please, and most often it is to someone I hate.

  47. A C Osborn says:

Gail “So the Globalists are threatening to remove Trump if he doesn’t get go along with their plans to dismantle the USA.”
We always new that it would come to that if they thought that they could get away with it, it is either that or assassination.

  48. Gail Combs says:

    pearce m. schaudies,
AND Obummer signed the law on Dec 31, 2011, allowing it all to be done WITHOUT ANY court hearing…

“President Obama Signs Indefinite Detention Bill Into Law.
WASHINGTON – President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law today. The statute contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision.”

8 U.S. Code § 1226a – Mandatory detention of suspected terrorists; habeas corpus; judicial review
(There is more than one law and I am not sure which is the latest…)

    However this is really funny.
    http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2011/12/the-indefinite-detention-bill-does-apply-to-american-citizens-on-u-s-soil.html

…Under questioning from Rand Paul, another co-sponsor – John McCain – said that Americans suspected of terrorism could not only be indefinitely detained, but could be sent to Guantanamo 😄 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aUHh1iqe43w

    The ACLU notes:

Don’t be confused by anyone claiming that the indefinite detention legislation does not apply to American citizens. It does. There is an exemption for American citizens from the mandatory detention requirement (section 1032 of the bill), but no exemption for American citizens from the authorization to use the military to indefinitely detain people without charge or trial (section 1031 of the bill). So, the result is that, under the bill, the military has the power to indefinitely imprison American citizens, but it does not have to use its power unless ordered to do so.

Do not forget President Bush DECLARED a War on Terror
    AND

The Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF), Pub. L. 107-40, codified at 115 Stat. 224 and passed as S.J.Res. 23 by the United States Congress on September 14, 2001, authorizes the use of United States Armed Forces against those responsible for the attacks on September 11, 2001 and any “associated forces”. El Aissami is the Executive Vice President of Venezuela.

[…] the U.S. Intel community has already had eyes on El-Aissami, who has apparent ties to drug traffickers, Iran, and Hezbollah. (The Venezuelan opposition refers to him as the “Narco of Aragua.”) When he was the head of Venezuela’s passport agency, he used that position to issue fake passports and identity documents to questionable Iranians. https://www.treasury.gov/press-center/press-releases/Pages/as0005.aspx

In 2009, Colombian authorities dismantled a network of narcotraffickers linked to Islamist terrorists. Funds derived from the narcotrafficking are believed to have been diverted to Hezbollah – an Islamist terror organization supported by Iran holding sway in areas ostensibly controlled by the Palestinian Authority. It is feared that this consortium of Latin American narcotraffickers and Islamic terror has ties to Mexico as well.

Two interesting links. On a side note I have pretty much given up trying to figure out who is doing what to whom. I it obviously just a huge bag of snakes and there is no way to figure out agenda or intent from the outside, so just watching all these little tidbits and in time a picture will come out of the fog.

    @Larry:

Interesting on Manafort… So if you are running for POTUS, you are not allowed to have someone familiar with a foreign country inform you about how it works behind the scenes? That seems to be the Left’s story. Near as I can tell, Manafort did not try to put forward an alternate U.S. Policy, just tried to carry a POV to Trump. Seems to me like that is inside the bounds of legal. (That it is likely a bad idea to have someone paid by foreign sources advising you is a different issue…)

Per the “serious trouble”: for McCain Uh, no. I read it. It is just a bog standard bulk mail letter (that includes a list of who is forbidden to donate). At most he is guilty of hiring inexperienced interns to do bulk mail or buying poorly filtered mailing lists. Good for a laugh at his expense, maybe, but not more.

Fun for a bit of nose tweak propaganda too…

For those interested in going around the angle bracket tyranny of WordPress, may I suggest the CA Assistant created by MrPete on climateaudit.org back in 2009 ?
I’ve been using it since on Mozilla’s Firefox. It .has so far worked on most WordPress blog sites.

CA Assistant created by MrPete on climateaudit.org

    Introduction

The Climate Audit Assistant is a script that automatically enhances the Climate Audit blog. It provides additional features and fixups not possible through the Climate Audit host site.

This is being made available to alleviate some of the hassles of using the new CA site, as well as other sites that participate in the Open Science process.

UPDATED: Version 0.0.9 (build 41) available Jan 20, 2010. Existing users click on “Settings” then “Check for Updates”

    What this provides today:

    – Comment ‘Tag’ buttons above the Reply box
    – Comment preview (click to toggle between preview/edit modes)
    – Replies include thread links; “Paste Link” feature also provided for referencing multiple comments
    – Comment sorting and thread enable/disable – new comments always collected together, even if nested!
    – Color-coding of newer comments, and/or hiding old comments
    – Ability to update to new CA Assistant version within the script (see the Settings popup)
    – Works on all Open Science Web Ring blogs
    – (new!) Reorganizes “Recent Comments” list to more easily see which topics have been updated
    – (new!) Lucia’s blog has faster/better support
    – (new!) Hides old comments while retaining their (author/date) context (on RomanM and Lucia’s blogs)

What this will provide soon (we hope):

    – A way to incorporate images (for now, our host disables images in comments)
    – Dynamic adjustment of old-comment hiding
    – Repair data file links, to point to climateaudit.info
    – Other fixups

    System Requirements

    Firefox browser (link)
    Greasemonkey Add-on for Firefox (link)
    The CA-Assist script itself (link)

    Installation Process

Firefox browser: install and use the Firefox web browser. (It won’t interfere with the operation of other browsers you may use, and can even import your bookmarks for your convenience.) Install using the link above.
Greasemonkey Add-on for Firefox: Greasemonkey empowers your custom scripts to change the behavior of web pages on the fly. You just run the CA Assistant inside of Greasemonkey. Install using the link above.
The CA Assistant script: this does the real work.
    Go to http://www.climateaudit.info/ca-assist/ca-assist.user.js
If GreaseMonkey is properly installed, you should get a popup screen with an “Install” button. Click it.
Click the Settings link (top right of the web page) to customize to your liking.

Installation is complete! Your ClimateAudit experience will now be a bit more friendly.

    HINTS

(Assuming your Status Bar is turned on, View->Status Bar), notice the GreaseMonkey (in Color or B&W ) in the bottom right corner of your browser. Click it to enable/disable GM and the CA Assistant (if it is not in color, the CA Assistant won’t work)
To use most of the Comment editing buttons, just press the button to insert the desired features. The “Link” and “Image” buttons just need to be pressed, and they’ll lead you through.
This script is enabled for multiple WordPress sites, and you can try it on others. See below.

    SETTINGS

There’s a settings popup available in the top-right corner of the page. Open it, modify the “General” and “Comment” tab settings as you see fit, and save. The next time the page is redrawn, the new settings will take effect. (Eventually, some of these settings will be more dynamic, taking effect immediately. Sorry, not yet!)

    General Tab:

Logging: for debug purposes. You can ignore.
Reorganize Recent Comments: sorts recent comments list (sidebar), making it easier to see active threads. (Currently supported only on some sites)

    Comment Tab:

“Old” and “New” comments are defined by age in hours.
You can hide all old comments (default: 48 hours). Hiding older comments is a great way to simplify your view of more intense discussions. (On Lucia and RomanM’s sites, the content of old contents disappears, but Author/Date remain. Nice!)
Comments can also be color-coded by age: old (gray bar), normal (yellow bar) and new (green bar).
Comment threading can be enabled or disabled. With older comments hidden or color coded, threading becomes a more reasonable proposition.
Comments can also be sorted: newest at the bottom (default) or at the top of the page.

    HAVING TROUBLE?

If you have a “NoScript” add-on installed, you’ll have to stop such script-blockers from interfering with this script.
Please do report success and failure here!

    TO ENABLE FOR OTHER SITES

    1) Visit your favorite WordPress site
    2) Right click the GM logo and choose “Manage User Scripts” from the menu. (If necessary, click “CA Assistant” in the list on the left.)
    3) Click “Add…” in the “Include” section on the top right, and press “OK” a couple of times to save the new site-name pattern.

If you don’t like the results, it’s easy to undo this using the “Delete” button you’ll find in the same place.

(It doesn’t look quite right on some sites. Eventually this will all get better…)

Yes, you can use “http://*.wordpress.com/*” if you like, to cover a lot of sites at once.

    HISTORY

Whether you want to win your election, lead your country, increase your bottom line, or change the world, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner can help you find the answer,” GQRR states on its website http://www.gqrr.com/

    Stanley Greenberg
Greenberg’s work for private sector organizations – including major corporations, trade associations and public interest organizations – focuses on managing change and reform…. Greenberg has conducted extensive research in Europe (particularly Great Britain, Germany and France), Central and South America (Argentina and Brazil), and Africa (South Africa). He specializes in research on globalization, international trade, corporate consolidation, technology and the Internet. For organizations, Greenberg has helped manage and frame a number of issues – including education, school financing, American identity, the economy, environmental regulation, international trade, managed care, biotechnology, copyrights, privacy and the Internet….

Greenberg has advised a broad range of political campaigns, including those of President Bill Clinton and Vice-President Al Gore, Senators Chris Dodd, Joe Lieberman and Jeff Bingaman; Governor Jim Florio and gubernatorial candidate, Andy Young; former Vice-President Walter Mondale; and a number of candidates for the U.S. Congress. For many years, he served as principal polling advisor to the Democratic National Committee.

Greenberg works jointly on private sector projects with prominent Republican pollsters in the United States – including Fred Steeper (pollster to former President Bush), Bill McInturff and Linda DiVall – to bring a bi-partisan focus to public issues….

    From another source:

Greenberg provides strategic advice and research for leaders, companies, campaigns, and NGOs trying to advance their issues in tumultuous times.

His political work has included serving as lead pollster and strategist to the campaigns of President Bill Clinton, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Bolivian president Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada, and South African president Nelson Mandela….

[Old wording was: “As a hired gun strategist, Greenberg—a seasoned pollster and political consultant—has seen it all. In his memoir, he recounts his work with President Bill Clinton, British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, Bolivian president Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada, and South African president Nelson Mandela.” – GC]

Greenberg has been described as “the father of modern polling techniques,” “the De Niro of all political consultants,” and “an unrivaled international ‘guru’.” Esquire Magazine named him one of the most important people of the 21st century. The New York Times writes that Greenberg “acts as a sort of people’s truth squad,” while Republican pollster Frank Luntz says “Stan Greenberg scares the hell out of me. He doesn’t just have a finger on the people’s pulse; he’s got an IV injected into it. He’s the best.”

“…He is also a strategic consultant to the Climate Center of the Natural Resources Defense Council on its multi-year campaign on global warming…. http://www.dl21c.org/fbevent/616

Greenberg writes for the Democratic Strategist link and also formed Democracy Corps link and is linked to the London School of Economics (Fabian) Third Way philosophy link (note the Carville Greeburg logo at top)
