It’s once again an Australia Time Friday! It’s FRIDAY!!!!
Tonight was a very simple “minimalist” meal, and, of course, the wine. “Risk & Reward”…
The Tucker
Did “the usual” Loin Lamb Chops from Australia. Stood on the T-Bone fat end in a cast iron skillet in the oven at 400 F for about 25 minutes (for no-red inside, so less if you like rare).
A simple salad of iceberg lettuce, green Napa Cabbage bits, Avocado, cheese sprinkles, all with Ranch dressing.
There’s something about a minimalist meal… Simple yet cleanly pleasurable. Especially alternated with more complex and heavily seasoned dishes. Yin. Yang. Variety and contrasts.
The Wine
I an having a Samuel Wynn “Risk & Reward” Cabernet. It is a bit strong for drinking alone. With cubes of Australian Goat Cheddar it was right at home. I suspect even neutral crackers would light it up. The lamb certainly did.

A 2017, it has 4 years age on it. I suspect it would stand up to a half dozen more nicely.
I like this wine as a pairing with strong foods. For drinking from the glass solo, it needs enough bottle age to start throwing tannins. OTOH, cheddar is cheap and then, “Drink up me hearties Yo Ho!”, with a nosh of cheese ;-)

I’ve been trip prepping, and, frankly, the world has gone to shit, so why watch the news?
I mean really, what’s the point? Watch PotuSino Biden pronounce yet more stupidity he does not understand but will enrich his corrupt kid? What do I gain from that?
Soak up the latest Mad Ramblings from CNN (Communist News Network) or pMSNBC that can’t put two words together without an emotional melt down? No, I don’t need to watch the propaganda feeds anymore to do “Opposition Research”. They are doing so much shit so fast I can’t keep track of it anyway.
They successfully pulled off a Fraudulent Election and have control of the levers of power of The Federal Government. Only thing you can do is let them have their lead and watch them run off the cliff.
We are doing “Duck & Cover” and preparing to pack up and move to somewhere that will survive their stupidity.
In that context, why do I care that Kamala is being a pill (i.e. herself) and pissing off even the Democrats? Or that Biden can’t read cue cards without getting lost? Either the Audits and Congress “Fix This” or the best thing to do is figure out how to survive the collapses. (Yes, there will be many in succession)
I would be happy to report on “The News”; if only there were some. Propaganda spun factoids require so much “de spinning” as to be an excercise in futility most days.
Oh Well.
Unfortunately, Australia is on the Front Lines with China. Both from proximity and from having the resources China wants. You will either throw their asses out and clean up your sold-out Political Class, or not. I’ll keep eating your lamb and drinking your wine & beer, but unless you fix the China Thing, you are toast. You will be flooded with “refugees” and pretty soon will be a minority in your own house. Then you will be in re-education camps learning your new “Mother Tongue” of Mandarin…
Pick your destiny and pick your pain. It is what it is, and “Reality just is”… Unfortunately, all roads of corruption and ruin seem to run toward Peking / Beijing and their 50 corrupt ruling families…

There is a nice letter in The Spectator — very English. I shortened it somewhat.
X is three bags short of a nursery rhyme when he calls sheep as ‘stupid’.
Research has shown them not only to be very good at being sheep, but also at remembering human faces and solving simple practical problems.
Only the last of these might disqualify them from a life in politics.
We have a lot of sheep in Australia., some of them the four legged kind.
Worrying about China and the way that Western Civilisation is also crumbling from within has given me insomnia, I sleep for about two hours per night, these last weeks. Even The Tour de France doesn’t calm my mind. Haven’t lost my appetite for Friday lamb, though! )
The way you know the democrats are not planning on any free and fair elections is how they are running the country. Only a moron would trash a country and expect to get re-elected. Or a cheater.

Yup. It is painfully clear that the Dimocrats and RINOs no longer fear the voter. That must be reversed.
It is also painfully clear that the USA is under assault with 5th Generation Warfare methods by a consortium of China, “The UN blood suckers”, Soros, and the EUrocrats (that Biden and John Kerry and such so love to emulate).
So far, they are winning. Why? Because when the USA Voter woke up enough to elect Trump, they went “all in” on the vote diddle machines. Now the question is just “Will that stay in place?”. WE must remove the Diddle Boxes and corruption rules / laws. Nice to have? Trump back in office in 2022 from the Audit-S showing Usurper Biden is a fraud on the voters.

Bring your swag up here if you need a break! We could eat lamb; our last rack is cooking in the oven atm but would buy some more. The rack came from wethers we had ‘done’ a while back and was lost in the bottom of the chest freezer! Our mutton on the hoof is still mowing and manuring in the paddock!
