This is a video from a year ago. An interview with Dr. Judy Mikovits. She did early research on AIDS, retroviruses and more. She had a “run in” with Dr. Fauci “back when” and was essentially crushed by the Powers That Be for what is either exposing their scandalous behavior OR being a bit fringey and not getting things right while stepping on powerful toes.
I’m not sure which way this one falls. It’s a giant Dig Here! right at a time when I’ve got too little time to do another one and I’m falling behind on all the other stuff I’m supposed to be doing.
FWIW, I’ve had upper division genetics and have mostly kept up on the technology. I can say that everything she says about how viruses and genetics works is correct. At least as of my last “personal update” a few years back. Also when she discusses the history of diseases they match my personal recollection of that bit of history. Finally, neither of these two doctors set off my BS Detector. I’ve seen Mercola before somewhere and IIRC he’s one of the M.D.s who likes natural cures for things if possible, so probably ran afoul of some other drug company interests for that.
In general, the thesis of the interview is that Fauci was more than happy to use levers of power to cover up things for powerful interests as long as The Right People got credit in publishing and made money. Patients be damned. In particular, it is about retroviruses of animal origin in the vaccine production process, and then when introduced to people, causing chronic diseases.
Toward the end there’s a mention of the Autism / Vaccine “controversy” so depending on what side of that you fall on it will shout “Quack!” or “Hero!”. As you don’t get a pandemic from a genetic disposition the rise from 1:10,000 to 1:80 says to me something either contagious or environmental, and that it’s global AND coherent with high vaccination countries, I lean toward “something sporadically not right in our medical care” (exactly what TBD)… but I’m not willing to toss out vaccines as causal just yet. Companies, and people, are not perfect.
As it is from a year ago, it is pre-Covid Chinese Wuhan Virus. Yet the same players and another retrovirus are the focus again today. In that context, I think the history matters.
IF what is said / accused is true, it lends a lot of credence to the ideas of suppressing HCQ and similar existing cures, while pushing hard on “vaccines” with huge ADE Antibody Dependent Enhancement risks (since SARS-COV-1 did just that). IF in fact Fauci has a history of playing just for the personal win and win for corporate sponsors, that starts to explain a lot of the not-quite-right decisions. Letting the virus run in the early introductions. Don’t let a treatment go into general use early. Got to build up enough demand for the vaccine… and lots of publishing rights.
If it is not true, then it’s just sour grapes from someone who had a rocky road in life and lost credentialing from bad decisions.
BUT:

Rampant collusion and fraud in Climate Science, publication, editors, etc.
Rampant corruption in Federal Agencies – FBI, DOJ, et. al.
Rampant power plays from the UN on any / all fronts.
It’s All About The Benjamins – DNC and friends, China Bribo, etc.
I find it ever harder to just accept “Trust me, I’m an authority”. In fact, given the history of the last decade or so, I’m more inclined to use “Statements From Authority” as a negative indicator. For example, I will NEVER say anything to an FBI agent other than “I will need a lawyer, please.” Then I’ll want my lawyer to record any conversations with said folks. We now know that “302s” are fraudulent and will be used as “exemplars of truth” unless you have counter evidence.
So the question becomes:
Is the CDC, FDA, et. al. at least at the leadership level just as corrupt as the whole Climate Science Brigade, the DOJ, the FBI, etc.?
I’m not seeing any real evidence to the contrary…
So with that, here’s the interview. Maybe it’s just a quack with a gripe. Maybe it’s an honest M.D. crushed by the Powers That Be for threatening the Grand Game and all that loverly money and prestige…

Maybe she was good at what she does once but now is heading toward dementia so the older videos are good but the current ones are not? she provides evidence that what she says is true, for example a press release by a company called CERUS that is into purifying blood, and they quote the FDA that says the same as Dr Mikovits ; that XMRV was found in over 80 % of people who suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
of course later Dr Fauci had people do tests that were designed to fail ; they used a man made retrovirus called VP62 that does react the same way as nature made XMRV

Fake Science rules! Anyone who dissents from the government position is crushed without mercy.
People like Michael Mann get showered with research contracts while Willy Soon, Sally Baliunas, Fred Singer, Patrick Michaels, John Christy and Roy Spencer suffer personal attacks. The last two people named had their offices shot up.
Now we have petty tyrants like Fauci strutting around on TV telling us one lie after another about COVID-19 and anyone who dissents is attacked by the corrupt media. I don’t know whether Judy Mikovits is telling the truth but the fact that she ticks off all the right people makes me want to know more.
Drugs are far more expensive in the USA than in any other country. It is not a matter of 10% higher or 50% higher but 10 times higher, 50 times higher or even more. This situation is primarily a result of price gouging by “Big Pharma” actively abetted by the FDA. Congress is asleep at the switch owing to the immense clout of an industry that spends about $400 million per year on lobbying (equivalent to over $700,000 per legislator).
Thus it troubled me when Dr. Fauci lightly dismissed HydroxyChloroQuine (HCQ) as a potential treatment for COVID-19. Instead he advocates vaccines and Remdesovir. Efficacious vaccines eradicated small pox altogether and reduced polio to 35 cases in the entire world last year. The trouble with efficacious vaccines is that sales eventually dry up.
Flu vaccines are typically 40% efficacious so they won’t eradicate the disease…..sales will go on for ever. That explains why Big Pharma loves vaccines of low efficacy. The solutions that Fauci supports have something in common. They will boost the profits of Big Pharma and line the pockets of people in government at the expense of the sick. Does Fauci himself have a “Conflict of Interest”? Apparently I am not the only person to suspect that.

Here is a video in which a virologist makes serious charges against Dr. Fauci and Dr. Redfield (Director of the CDC).

It only took a matter of hours for YouTube to take the video down and a bunch of smears directed against Dr. Mikovits to appear on the Internet. She was described as “Anti-vaccination” even though that is the exact opposite of the truth as she explains in the video. I find Dr. Mikovits convincing but she is not testifying under oath. When Dr. Fauci testifies before the US senate next Tuesday, Dr. Mikovits should have an opportunity to testify as well. Stories tend to change when lying can lead to jail time.
It seems unlikely that Fauci will testify on Tuesday, May 12 since he is in special quarantine. I suspect his unavailability has more to do with Judy Mikovits than the coronavirus.
Obama did great job handling the 2009 H1N1 ‘flu epidemic that infected 60,714,887 people according to the official count. Given that this is a “Non-Reportable” disease, many people (including this camel) got the disease but were not counted in the statistics since we self medicated. The true number of cases has to be at least two times the official number.
What did Obama do? On April 22, 2009 he declared a “Public Health Emergency” but there were no travel bans or quarantines. Life continued as normal and the stock market rose though an entire year until the epidemic burned itself out.
Six months later (October 24, 2009) Obama declared a “National Health Emergency” since the official number of infections was 8,781,203 at that time. No drastic action was taken so the stock market continued to rise.
Government action in response to the COVID-19 has done more harm than good so we need to demand a passive “Obama-like” response from government when COVID-19 returns in the Fall.

These figures suggest that the lockdown had little effect on deaths due to the COVID-19 but had a huge, unprecedented effect on “Other” deaths. FUD (Fear Uncertainty and Doubt) created by the coronavirus panic caused a dramatic drop in hospitalizations. All around the country hospitals are half empty while surgical staff are being furloughed. Deaths will remain abnormally low until “Operating Rooms” resume operating.
Hospitals are amazingly dangerous places so when 50% of their beds are empty the death rate is going to fall.

Switzerland did not treat this as just another flu. They did things they have never done for the flu.
The excess death statistics will likely be our best gauge of Covid-19, as compared to the flu. Jo Nova had an excellent post on how flu deaths are likely very inflated. Statistical deaths in excess of normal, despite the lock downs, (see Christopher Monckton’s posts at WUWT) and despite an abbreviated flu season, as well as the true witness of overwhelmed hospitals, all convincingly express that this was not a flu. It is likely that even basic precautions exponentialy reduce contacts and R naught, more then predicated. China did not crush their own economy over a few hundred deaths.
That said, this has now been politicised to the extreme, and flatten the curve became a threat of no relief until no cases. So yes, between China, WHO, the political CDC and the Deep State, and unworkable opening proposals, constant threats of again shutting down, this is being turned into an unmitigated disaster.
Folks are saying “enough already” with their actions.
We went on a Mothers Day drive today. A LOT more traffic than last week. Folks filling up at the gas station without gear or fear. Had lunch from Erik’s Deli. Yes, ate it in the car, but still entered the store and bought it. A half dozen phone orders picked up while we were there. Drove past three county parks (2 of them lakes) lots of cars and folks fishing or walking. Gov. Nuisance may have closed State beaches, but rural counties saying “Nah!”. Roadside flower stand open , with cars stopping to buy flowers. Oh, and the carwash was open again.

All – it seems to me that any country leaving full lockdown status is going to see outbreaks that could get out of hand pretty quickly. Until herd immunity is achieved any infection will be around 10-15 days before it starts to show in the hospital admissions, thus having a possibly large number of contacts to trace. Mass transit remains a potent way to spread the virus. Could be a superspreader in that group, too. Unless someone decides to mass-medicate all those contacts with something like HCQ+Zn+vit-D to reduce the infectivity, it looks like a country will constantly be on the edge of overwhelming their medical facilities at any time. I’ve read that Turkey is giving HCQ to anyone suspected of being infected, and are seeing good results. Given the cost of HCQ, and that production has been ramped up, that looks like a smart strategy.
I don’t see a logical way out of lockdowns without such measures. Sure, the lockdown has reduced the number of people getting the disease and avoided running out of beds, but releasing it before herd immunity is achieved will result in the same number of people goijg to hospital, just over a longer time. The death count remains much the same with or without the lockdown providing the beds don’t run out.

The blood loses ability to carry Oxygen, also clots more easily, and people just die. May be no obvious symptoms except, of course, death. With a disease like this, it seems criminal to not use medication early, but instead to tell people to wait until it’s become hard to breathe before asking for help, then using an NSAID such as paracetamol and some Oxygen until they either recover or need ventilation (and a large chance of dying at that point).
Seems that the disease is being treated as if it’s just a ‘flu, when it isn’t and thus that’s the wrong treatment. It also seems that the possible prophylactics are being ignored, either through TDS or some other reason. By now we’ve got better information than when we started, so why is it being ignored?

Such an implausible claim, which runs contrary to my accumulated reading in this blog, requires proof. Citation, please?
My understanding is that children catch it as well as anyone else. Schools and other gatherings of children are notorious as viral-&-bacterial exchange opportunities. And that’s exacerbated by the grabby habits of chidren. Why would CoV-19 be any different, especially considering the unusually long “lifetime” of the virus on hard surfaces, as common on furniture, appliances, or plumbing fixtures?
If children have any epidemiological distinction from the rest of us, it’s that when infected, they are far more commonly asymptomatic. @A C Osborn – I ran across one they are using with great success in Hong Kong. IIRC, it is a combination of 3 antivirals.
I’ve seen it a couple of times on Conservative Treehouse (CTH) posted by a Brit expat who, I believe, teaches in China. He posts under the nom de plume of ‘A2’. He’s been in China for quite a few years (30?). Oh, and I believe he has a couple of links to studies and for further details.
Anyhow, I read CTH regularly and I will keep an eye out for it again and when things are slow there, usually in the AM, I’ll see if I can run down one of his posts on the treatment.

Great idea you have there! I’d like to have a list like that if I’m sick with flu symptoms and need to see the Dr. to discuss treatment.
She has my medical history, list of medications, allergies, and results of past blood work, most of that routine but I’ve also had a few off the path blood tests for some mystery symptoms.
We should be able to come up with a successful treatment regime.
Don’t forget to include possible preventatives. I believe there are 2 – 3 besides building up resistance via vitamins & etc.

The really good thing is that NAC addresses the late stage complications while HQC is useful in early onset suppression of replication, so now there’s approches to treatment at both ends.
You can buy NAC over the counter and it’s quite cheap. I’ve got some on the way but my usual online supplier of quercetin was all out of NAC, so be quick.

Sorry for the confusion, there is no problem finding Ivermectin on the web, in fact the EMV protocol that Rhodda reminded me of actually specifies it as an optional treatment.
What I actually meant was that after a couple of splashes in the MSM there has been no mention of it, no trials as far as I know all we have is remdesivir and so called studies knocking HCQ.

I’ve been reading various news splashes about people in their 90’s and 100’s beating the Wuhan Flu, but I bet their doctors intervened very early with one of the treatments that keep the worst effects at bay OR, because they have lived so long, they have antibodies picked up over the years close enough that kept them from heading into the abyss.
Anyhow, it seems that the vitamin regime and some form of the other preventatives will pretty much get you safely through to the other side without all the fuss of a nasty death or other even worse side effects.

All treatment & prophylactic treatments are currently speculative.
We do have some good data, mostly “anecdotal”.
Vit-D status is a huge deal. Cuts risk of detected infection by something like 75%, and for those who do get it, cuts mortality by 90% (IIRC the report). So #1 is 1000 to 2000 IU daily or a load of sun. Top it up with RDA of Zn, Cu, & Selenium and a bunch of vit-C (I do a couple of grams).
Several antivirals that block replication, taken early, reduce it dramatically. Taken after enough replication to land you in the hospital, don’t do much. From Quinine to derivatives like HCQ and AIDS drugs. IMHO, any of them with exemplars of working could dramatically cut transmission and hospitalizations if widely used (at the risk of various side effects).
Then NAC and massive Vit-C along with clot preventers if you go symptomatic in a significant way.
Per vaccine: Due to the history of ADE in SARS-1, I will not go near a vaccine until that is definitely proven not to exist. So AFTER the first batch of folks get heavy virus exposure. Figure a year, or two… but by then, herd immunity ought to be complete.
Per Ivermectin:
It is truly a strange wonder drug. From one lone sample of a soil bacteria found in Japan, it has cured many diseases (from worms to river blindness) and has anti viral properties. Could we just “sheep dip” a load of folks and stop the spread? My GUESS is a high probability. Cheap, made by the ton, widely available, and with very wide dose tolerance.
FWIW, about 2 weeks ago we did a bunch of shopping and stuff. 2 days later: I started getting the nose twitchy sneezy throat funny feeling that can be anything from allergies to a cold to WuHuFlu onset…. drizzled about 10 ml (the 200 lb sheep dose IIRC) on my skin and rubbed it in. Everything ramped down and by the next day I felt fine. So was that a “cure” of something or did blowing my nose clear out the offending pollen? Don’t know, and don’t care much. I’d used this a half dozen times for something else several years back and I have zero side effects (or anything noticeable, really – YMMV) from it. For me, the peace of mind was worth the $1 or so cost and zero bad effects. Like I’ve said before: Pour drench on enough cattle & critters you WILL at some point soak up a dose. Been there, done that.
So once the Medical Establishment gets their collective arses in gear enough to find and prove effective treatments AND get them approved and stocked at my doctors office AND on the approved list for this use: then my DIY will stop. Until then, due to zero approved solutions, I am my own health practitioner with only me to blame for my choices.
One other sidebar:
I need to do a posting on this, but look up fenbendazol (hope I spelled that right) and both anti viral and cancer treatment. Another horse wormer… I did a test patch on some very small warts on the top of my foot. As per the articles, it does seem to have nuked the human papilloma virus… but I need to check again before a full posting. Anecdotal stories of resolving prostate cancer and more.

What if it doesn’t fail? There will be some for whom the zinc won’t be needed and some where the zinc will be trouble; so good studies with and without zinc still should be done, so for those who do need all three can be helped without harming those who don’t need all three.
